The color Yaz would use to describe Sammy would be the color yellow bright, and playful. Warm tones remind her of the love she lost that night.

The color Yaz describes herself as is black corrosive, and dark like the sky the day she lost the person who she felt whole with. Dark tones told her soul when her love was stripped from her that rainy night.

Her art is mainly rain and storms, a giant monster with quills, long claws, and a deformed jaw. Sometimes the paintings contain a girl lying in yellow and orange lights, the only colors other than the grays and blacks she used. When asked about it, she would shrug, saying that the woman she loved died on Nublar, and she kept her memory alive by drawing her in yellow and warm tones since those are the colors of her love.
