"Katherine! Come on, sweetie, auntie Undyne should be here any minute!" you called up to her, waiting to hear her tiny footsteps running down the hall.

"Coming, mama!" her voice answered as she dashed down the stairs. She ran over and plopped herself on the floor, quickly getting her shoes on.

In the distance, you hear music slowly approaching the house and sighed.

"Oh, boy. She's already here." You quickly pick up Kat and moved her away from the door as it was kicked down soon after.

"NGAHHH!" Undyne yelled as she relieved the door from its hinges. "Where's the little punk?!"

You stood on the side just glaring at her, even though it wasn't the first time she's completely destroyed your door. "Nice to see you too, Undyne," you said sarcastically, lifting the hood of your jacket.

"Hey, _____! How's it going?" She picked up Kat and put her on her shoulders, making her giggle.

"I'm good, Kat's good. We're all good. How are you?"

"Never better! Alphys and I just finished watching Gurren Lagann. It was awesome!" (Shout out to those who watch Gurren Lagann)

You grinned, walking past her out the door. "Sounds like fun. Now come on, you two. It's already starting to get dark out and we shouldn't be late. You can go on ahead, Undyne. I'll catch up."

"Alright! See ya there!" She sprinted off in the direction of Snowdin forest and Kat turned back, waving at me.

"Bye, Mommy!" she giggled.

You waved back at her and sighed contently.

'How long has it been? Three years? I'm not sure, but it seems like she's grown on me ever since then; like she were my own.' You took a deep, slow breath, bowing your head to shield it from the powdery snow.

'Though, I don't have the heart to tell her that I'm not her real mom. It would shatter her. Besides, I don't think she would understand at such a young age...'

"I'll tell her when she's ready," you whisper out loud as your surroundings transitioned from town to trees.

~ 10 minutes later... ~

You eventually found a clearing in the forest where Undyne, Katherine, Alphys, Toriel, Papyrus, and Sans were sitting around a nice-sized fire.

You smiled at everyone as you sat between Kat and Papyrus. "Hello, everyone," you greeted.

"Glad you could make it, _____," Sans replied before taking a swig from his ketchup bottle.

"Hi, Mommy," Kat greeted you with a hug and a kiss on your cheek.

You giggle, nuzzling your nose on her cheek. "Hi, sweetie."

Reminded of your discussion with Sans you had earlier, you glance at him as he was already looking at you.

"Still holding off on it?" he asks under his breath, staring at you.

You nodded and looked at Katherine while answering, "Yeah. At least until a few years from now."
