Chapter 2

"Where the hell are you?! Hurry up, everybody's waiting for you!" Lee screeched on the other line. Gun could barely hear him since the music in the bar was blasting so loud.

"Coming! Jeez, you know that you could start drinking without me!"

"We already are and I bet by the time you arrive, we're all drunk already!"

"Shut up. See you in a few. Bye."

Gun took a cab to the bar since his motorbike is in the repair shop. He silently cursed when no unoccupied cab passed by him. Finally, after a few minutes of waiting and aimlessly hailing for a ride, a cab stopped and took him to his destination.

"Here's the fare. Keep the change, P'. Thanks." He said as he hopped out of the cab. The driver thanked him gleefully and drove away.

On his way to the entrance of the bar, he passed by a few cars in the parking lot just in front of their building and one suspicious guy who was wearing a black hoodie was quietly speaking on his phone.

"....yes, I'm here. Come and get me before somebody else sees me!"

The stranger's voice was familiar yet he shrugged it off.

It couldn't be him. That's impossible. He always makes a fabulous entrance, making the whole Thailand know about his presence. He can't be that one person who hides in the dark wearing hideous clothes.

He let the man be and entered the bar, looking for his friends. He spotted them on one of those elongated tables and sofa chairs.

"Look who's finally here! Gun Atthaphan, my man!" Oab saw him first and immediately greeted him, standing up from his seat and bumped their shoulders the way men do when they see each other.

"Hello, Oab! Sorry I'm late. Is everyone drunk now, Lee?" Gun took a seat beside his best friend.

"Almost!" Lee retorted and grinned.

Gun looked around the table and saw that Nicky, Mek and Sing were there too.

"Okay, let's order more beer since Gun is here!" Oab raised his hand to gesture at the waiter and soon enough, more drinks came to their table.

"Bottoms up gentlemen!"

The bar wasn't very crowded since it was a Thursday night. Gun would never drink on a school night but he had no classes on Fridays so he was definitely getting drunk tonight.

"How long are you staying in Thailand, Oab?" Nicky, one of Gun's high school friends, asked.

"Oh, just a few days. I'm just here to visit and have a few days off since our school in America is on break," Oab answered.

"Must be cool to be an American guy now, huh?" Mek teased.

Oab chuckled and said, "Nah, life is really hard in there. I need to juggle three jobs and study at the same time."

"Must be hard for you, man," Sing said as he played with his bottle of beer.

"But we're not here to talk about life problems. We're here to have fun! How about you guys? Tell me what's happening in your life?"

They talked about the things that have happened in their life since they graduated from high school. Lee, Gun and Sing enrolled in the same university, taking up the same program while Nicky enrolled in another prestigious school. Mek chose to work at his father's company despite his young age and Oab flew to America to continue his tertiary studies there.

They continued to drink and talk while having fun. They were young, attractive men and they were having the best times of their lives. They were sophomores already, a little bit wiser and bolder than their old freshman selves. They wanted to be reckless and carefree since they know that once they graduate in college, they need to be more focused on their careers.

"I gotta take a pee," A very drunk Gun said.

He was having so much fun talking and joking around that he didn't notice he had finished seven bottles of beer already.

"You want me to come with you?" Lee offered as he noticed that Gun's posture was already unsteady.

"What? No! I can manage," Gun said as he began to unbutton his pants.

His friends laughed at him but Gun's drunk ass didn't know what was happening. He just kept on fumbling for his jeans' buttons.

"Gun, don't strip naked here. The comfort room is that way," Nicky said and pointed to the direction where the comfort room is.

Gun looked down on his pants and blushed drunkenly, "Right. Well...okay, gotta take a piss."

"Are you sure you don't need a hand?" Sing offered once more.

Gun shook his head. "No! I'm a grown man! I don't need your help. I'm gonna pee on my own!"

His friends snickered as they watched Gun stagger his way to the bathroom.

"What took you so long to get me?" Off hissed at Tay.

"You're the Prince but I ain't your servant, Mister." Off's friends were the only one who could curse at him and escape alive. If it were other people, they surely would be six feet underground by now.

"Whatever." Off looked down at his clothes. "I hate these filthy clothes! I'm gonna change, Tay. Tell Arm I'll be there in a minute."

Off left the comfort room feeling brand new. He had his usual designer's clothes on and he fixed himself up. He threw away the baggy clothes that he wore a while ago so people won't be suspicious or recognize him. He couldn't take the risk. He just sneaked out of their mansion and if somebody sees him, he'll be dead by tomorrow.

He arrived at the private room that Arm reserved for his birthday. His family is pretty well off too and he could afford to waste their money on his own pleasures.

"Ah, the great entrance of the Prince. Off, my man, I'm glad you could come!" Arm was already holding a glass of expensive beer in his hand.

Off's other friends and acquaintances, children of well off celebrities and politicians, are also present in celebrating Arm's birthday.

"How can I miss your birthday? You're my bestest buddy!"

"What about me?" Tay said, and everybody laughed.

"All of you are!" Off said.

The prince is the life of the party. His presence could light up any lousy parties and gatherings out there. As soon as he arrived, the music blasted louder, Arm's guests became more cheerful and everybody was just in the right mood.

"Are you sure it's okay for you to be here, Off? The last time we got caught, your father locked you in for a week," Tay said as he chugged down his glass of beer.

Tay was the tamest of his friends. He is the force that binds him, Off and Arm together. He was a little aggressive too, constantly getting in fist fights and usually the one who gets snapped a photo together with Off and some girl, but he's the most reasonable and repulsive of the three.

"Hey, calm down. I made sure that my parents are sleeping before I sneak out," Off confidently said.

"What the fuck? You sneak out again? Oh my God, I'm telling you we're gonna get in trouble again!" Tay shook his head worriedly.

"By the way, how did you manage to sneak out when your house is surrounded by hundreds of guards? I swear your mansion is like the headquarters of the military already," Arm said.

Arm was the most reckless one in the group. If Off was a troublemaker, then Arm is the war maker, if there is such a thing. He has the money, the looks, and basically everything in life. Off, on the other hand, might be a little irrational but he knows he's a prince. His father never failed to remind him every single day that he is of royal blood, so it means that he needs to gain respect from his constituents. And to gain respect is to do respectful things.

"I may or may not put sleeping pills on their water," Off confessed.

"Wow, Prince Off. I thought you couldn't do anything worse than last time but here you are, proving me wrong again."

Off just shrugged and continued to enjoy his drink. The more his father refrains him and stops him from doing what he wants, the more he wants to do it. He loves his father; he grew up admiring his father. But he had always wanted to be a normal child who could play with other children his age.

"I'm sorry, son. I want you to make friends too but being outside is too dangerous. Bad people will come and take you away from me."

"But daddy, they will protect me!" A younger Off said and pointed to his personal guards.

"It's better safe than sorry, son. Just stay inside. We could buy you a new train toy or whatever toy you like. How does that sound?"

Off hated the fact that he was being controlled. Sure, he loves being the prince; he gets a free pass in everything and girls chase after him but he doesn't like being told what to do. He's twenty two years old for fuck's sake yet his parents treat him as if he was twelve.

"Are you really sure we're not getting into any trouble, Off?" Tay said again.

"You guys are no fun!" He said before standing up.

"Where the hell are you going?"

"Somewhere fun!" He was actually going to the bathroom to take a piss. He's been holding it in for awhile now but he felt like he couldn't wait any longer.

The bathroom was dim but he could hear a guy moaning unconsciously while trying to button his pants. Off watched him, fascinated at how drunk the stranger was. When the guy started to stagger and was about to fall, Off was quick to catch him and in a split second, the stranger was in Off's arms.

Cute.

"Hngggg," The stranger moaned and Off chuckled.

"What?"

"Hmmm."

"Yeah, hmmm." Off does not understand a single word that the stranger had just said. "Where are your friends?" Off said as he struggled to make the stranger stand up. "I'll take you to them."

The stranger didn't answer so Off looked at him and found out he passed out. Off sighed and tried to wreck his brain on what to do with the other guy. He wasn't that heartless to leave him in here and he definitely doesn't know where the stranger's friends were.

Or was he alone?

He stared at the face of the passed out guy in his arms and he couldn't take his eyes away from him.

Really cute.

He stood still, thinking of what he should do with the stranger before sighing and said, "Fuck it, I'll bring you home tonight."

***

"Where are you, Off? The pretty ladies, the one I told you about, just arrived and now they're looking for you. I promised them that they'll meet you tonight!"

Off grunted as the drunk stranger was about to topple forward. His one hand was holding his phone while his other was supporting this drunk guy he picked up on the bar.

"I went home. I'm sorry."

"What? It's not even midnight yet! Off, what the hell?"

"Look, I'm not really in the best place to - what the fuck, why are you so damn heavy despite your small frame?" Off moaned as he tried to put in the key card in the hotel room door lock.

Instead of going home, he settled with letting the night pass in a hotel. He could sneak back to his house if he was alone, but dragging a drunk stranger to his mansion filled with hundreds of securities... Well, let's just say he's looking out for both him and this stranger's welfare.

"Who are you talking with?" Despite being on the phone, Off knew that Arm's eyes widened when he had formed his own conclusion. "Oh my, Prince Off is already on the move. You met someone already and brought him home. That's why you left early, didn't you?"

"I didn't go home. I'm at a hotel. Remember that hotel where we stayed for five nights and we were drunk every single night while we were there? That hotel."

"I don't care about the hotel. But you did bring someone home, didn't you?" Arm's voice was full of teasing and playfulness.

The door was finally open and Off dragged the stranger's body inside and threw his little frame on the mattress. He cracked his neck and head, freeing his constraint muscles from carrying the other guy.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," He answered, thinking that it's easier to agree than to argue and explain.

"Prince Off and his charms!" Arm mused.

"So where is he?" He could hear Tay's voice on the other line.

"Out with some chick already," Arm answered.

"What? That fast? He just peed and now he's about to get laid? That's not fair!" Despite the loud noise, Off could hear Tay and he snickered.

"I gotta go. You guys enjoy the rest of the night for me," Off said, looking at the stranger who was stirring in his sleep.

"Oh, you'll be having more fun tonight than us, Off. You sneaky bastard!" Arm responded.

"You wish you were in my place," Off grinned.

"Oh, I have my own pretty ladies here-

"Bye, Arm!"

He tossed his phone, not caring where it would land. He's more concerned at the guy who was starting to stir, his eyes starting to open.

The stranger's eyes looked around and finally landed on Off. The prince raised his eyebrows, curious as to how the other guy would react.

The stranger smiled and pointed to Off. "Funny."

"What?" Off asked.

"Funny because," The stranger made a 'hick' sound. "-because you look like Prince Off."

Off's eyebrows raised a little higher, but now it was because he was amused. "So you do know me."

That was a stupid question. Of course everybody knows him, aside from the fact that he's a prince, he manages to make his way to every news headline everyday.

"Hot. Hot. Hot." The stranger started to fan himself with his shirt and then suddenly, he lazily pulled up his clothes.

It took a second before Off understood what he was doing. He walked to the other guy and said, "Let me help you."

He did help the guy take off his clothes. He has a perfect thin body type. Hell, he can even pass as a girl with how tiny his waist line is. The stranger smiled at him once more and Off felt weird. He finds the guy...charming.

"You really look like Prince Off," The guy said and touched Off's nose. Their faces were so close since Off needed to crouch down to the guy who was sitting on the bed.

"That's because I am Prince Off."

The guy laughed and said in a very cute tone. "Hmmkay."

The stranger's back fell on the bed once more. Off felt sticky and hot too so he decided to take a shower before calling in for tonight.

When he got out of shower, he saw the guy walking around the room, looking for something.

"Hey, do you need anything?" He asked as he rushed to his side before he fell to the floor. He was dizzy, Off guessed, and still drunk.

"No, no. I was just looking for-" The guy poked his bare chest. "You. Prince. You."

"Yes. Now go back to bed or you'll bang your head into the floor if you fall and I'm not here to catch you."

The stranger grinned. "No. Your breath smells really good."

"Because I brushed my teeth already. Unlike you whose breath stinks with-"

The guy suddenly leaned in and pressed his soft plump lips on Off's. The prince was taken aback but he was more surprised that he wasn't angry nor pushing the stranger away. He actually was...turned on.

The stranger broke the kiss and grinned again at him. "You really have soft lips."

"So do you." These words flowed naturally out of Off's tongue. The guy was affecting him.

The guy kissed him once more. This time, there was movement on his lips and tongue. Off stood still, unsure of the situation. He never kissed a guy before and he was pretty sure he was straight.

Until tonight.

The fact that the stranger needed to tiptoe in order to kiss him wasn't helping. He finds the gesture cute and adorable. So he did what was the most natural thing to do at that time.

He kissed the stranger back.
