Elias would

" And on this day. I pronounce Prince Andrew of Aderia and Princess Odeth of Velander, One. Husband and wife. To live together from this day forward and to lead the people of both kingdoms into prosperity" the priest chanted.

I felt disgusted.
" To officiate this marriage. The new couple may share a kiss in the presence of these witnesses as it may spread far and wide that two kingdoms have come together in unity" the priest said.

I tensed up but was glad that Elias had kissed me, because I didn't want this man to own my first kiss. Andrew turned to face me and when I didn't, he held my shoulders and turned me to face him, but I kept my eyes down.

" You're beautiful, regardless of those ugly tears" Andrew said, holding my chin upward. I allowed him and as he leaned in to kiss me........... The huge doors burst open and a guard ran into the hall, making sure to close the doors.

Everyone turned to him. He was panting and the first thing that came to my mind was Elias.
" The general.... General War, he's here and they're...." He didn't get to finish before the heavy doors fell on him with a loud noise. And standing on the door that was now flat on the floor was Elias, his ever so huge form and there was an angry scowl on his face.

I stared at him and I couldn't hold it in.
I smiled... Allowing my lips to stretch to the sides. He came. He came for me.

Just immediately that five seconds of silence, there came instant commotion. Everyone started running and screaming, some hiding under the chairs. The guards stood shaking with their weapons in hand, but none attacking him.

" What are you waiting for? Get him out of here" the king of Aderia yelled and the guards seemed to return to their bodies as they hurried towards Elias.

Andrew pulled my face back to him .
" We weren't finished yet, princess" he said and tried kissing me. I quickly spat in his face and kneed him right where all his children were kept. He groaned as I stood a few steps backwards and the tiny rope used in tying our hands together cut.

" Hold the princess" the yelled making my heart skip in fear, I looked around and all the guards were busy with Elias, and just as I tried to run, he grabbed me from behind and I struggled. A lot of people had ran out of the hall while others were squatted shaking in the corners.

Soon, all the guards that attacked Elias were on the floor, and blood was all over. He was also very much stained with blood. His eyes then settled on me and prince Andrew before he started taking long strides towards us.

" Stay back. She's my wife. We're already married" Andrew ordered angrily but he shook with every step Elias took towards us. I looked behind Elias and saw his men enter the hall. I spotted Memwel with them and I turned my gaze to my father . I was confused.

Elias got to us and pulled me out of prince Andrew's grasp and I stood by his side. Everyone was now quiet. The priest had cowered to the floor.
" Are you alright princess?" Elias asked me but his eyes were on Andrew. I nodded quickly.
" Yes" I mumbled then looked at Andrew again as something clicked in my mind.

I took a little step forward
" Andrew" I started and he gave me a hateful look, making me realize he's always been this evil, all his silence, his ability to hide his emotions. All of that was an act to fool me. This is who he really was. An evil short, boneless and useless man. I sighed and continued.

" Remember when you asked me if I was threatening you?. Here is my answer. Yes. It was a threat. And did you ask who would stop you?" I asked, a small smirk forming on my lips " Elias would" I stated, my chest filled with so much pride as I watched his expression harder with more anger and hatred but most especially.. fear. Yes that was what I wanted to see.

" Memwel" Elias's deep voice boomed and Memwel hurried towards us.
" Take the princess" he ordered and Memwel held me, leading me out of the hall. I did not argue. I was satisfied now that I knew I was with Elias.

As I was leaving the hall with the other warriors, I heard metal Pierce through flesh and a loud painful gasp. Then again and again, it sounded merciless and brutal. It suddenly stopped and then came the sound of a body hitting the ground. I didn't look back. I inhaled calmly, not wanting to imagine what just happened.

.....

I was seated on a horse while the horse walked. The reins of the horse was held by one of Elias's men as he walked in front of the horse. We were now in the forest. I overheard them saying we were going back to Velander but Elias was not with us. Some of the warriors were injured but they didn't seem to worry about their injuries.

I wanted to ask them about Elias but they looked scary with their serious faces on. Not that there was a time they didn't have serious faces. Just then, I remembered Memwel. Father had told me that he had Memwel with him so...... My eyes widened in realization. He lied to me.

He must have noticed Memwel's disappearance and that was why he lied to me. I felt so foolish. If I had known Memwel had made it, I wouldn't have hurried my marriage with prince Andrew. Now I was his wife, but... But I knew he was dead by now. And then.. my father.

I hoped he wasn't hurt, even though I knew I would never forgive him. My thoughts wondered back to Elias and I quickly looked around for Memwel. He was far ahead with some other warriors, meaning I couldn't reach him. I looked behind me and there were other warriors behind me and also by my sides.

I was in the middle. I noticed they seemed to be distancing themselves from me. I looked at the warrior who was leading my horse. I cleared my throat.

" Uh.. um.. please.  Where is Elias?" I asked loud enough for him to hear but he seemed not to hear me. I tried again.
" Hey..." I called out louder and thankfully, he heard me. He turned his face to look at me .
" I'm sorry but please... Where is Elias?" I asked. He looked at me for a while and I began to think he didn't know Elias's name too, but just as I was going to correct myself, he spoke.

" He'll be with us soon but he asked us to take you away" he responded.
" But will he be okay by himself?" I asked worriedly and he stared at me like I had grown two heads. I could understand, I mean everyone knew that Elias was the strongest man alive, but I couldn't stop myself from worrying.

" Yes your highness, he'll join us soon" he finally responded. I sighed. I wouldn't feel relaxed until I saw him, so I decided to occupy myself.  Maybe having conversations would keep my mind busy.
" Um... What is your mind?" I asked the warrior and he didn't look at me this time.
" I'm sorry your highness, but the general had warned us not to interact with you or even look at you" he replied.

I went silent, allowing what he just said to sink in. My shoulders slumped, realizing why they were all distancing themselves from me.

I really appreciate how patient you all are with me. Thank you so so much. And.... Don't forget to.
