The next day the fairies attened their first lesson one of which Blaire was excited to start.

"Good morning everyone, as usual it befalls me to kick off the school year, now for those of you who haven't met me yet I am Professor Whizgiz." The short professor said as he hopped on his table. "Your teacher of Metamorphosis or as I prefer to call it the art of changing the way you look!" He said turning into Miss Griselda shocking the class, but they all cheered for his transformation anyway.

"Oh Well that's nothing by years end you will do better than that." He said transforming back into himself. "And since every ending must have a beginning let us start with a simple exercise." He said summoning hand mirrors for everyone. "Concentrate look into the mirror, look at yourself and think abiut changing the colour fo your hair." He said.

"Well I've always wanted to know what I'd look like with black hair." Blaire said picking up the and she closed her eyes and concentrated, she imagined her hair all the way down to It's roots and like water run down and turn black.

"Okay.." she said nervously wondering if she's done it.  She opened her eyes to find that half of her hair has rurned black.

"Oh wow, well this is something." She said to herself and she laughed.

"Hey Bloom what do you think?" She asked but found that Bloom was concentrating, but when her sister opened her eyes nothing happened and she looked down sadly and put down the mirror.

"Don't worry Bloom if at first you don't succeed try again and Blaire it look of it there your half way there." Professor Wizgiz winked making her laugh.

After lessons the girls went back to their dorm rooms.

"Lets try again okay." Bloom said as she was with Stella while Blaire was looking over plants with Flora.

"Alright, one last time and that's it school's just beginning if you don't get it today it's not the end of the world." Stella said.

"Where I come from there's a saying don't put off tomorrow what you can do today." Bloom said.

"Where I come from we don't have that expression and we're all much more relaxed." Stella said.

"Stella please~." Bloom pleaded.

"Oh alright but remember, concentrate think of a colour imagine your hair starting to change, the colours slowly spreading from the root to the tip of youe hair." Stella said but instead Bloom's bangs raised up all the way to the ceiling.

"Great see what I end up with!" Bloom said point up at her raised up bangs.

"Bloom your not paying attention. Your not concentrating enough." Stella said

"Well at least something happened and that's progress." Flora said as Stella laughed.

"She's right Bloom It's better to start somewhere than nowhere at all and quit laughing Stella." Blaire said as the two walk towards Bloom and Stella.

"Why shouldn't she look at this I'm ridiculous." Bloom said and shook her head making her bangs fall back on her forehead as Blaire and Flora sat beside her.

"That's not true all you need is a bit of practice." Flora said.

"I've never had such a rough day." Bloom said.

"First day is always like this." Stella said.

"Girls can we ask you something?" Bloom asked Stella and Flora.

"Why are guys here at Alfea?" Blaire asked.

"Because I want to become a real fairy successful, beautiful,powerful and universally admired. Of course I also wanna do good things like making people happy and bringing back together estranged lovers starting with my parents." Stella said.

"I wanna become a real fairy too but I'm here primarily because I really love to learn." Flora said and she was hit with a pillow.

"Ugh that was such a nerdy answer." Stella said as she threw away the pillow.

"What about you Bloom, Blaire?" Flora asked.

"Well I'm not sure..." Blaire said unsure.

"And I have no idea what I'm doing here." Bloom said as she walked to the window, Blaire took the mirror on Blooms bed and looked to see her reflection. "What kind of fairy do I want to be?" She asked herself.

The next day the students were in the dining hall were enjoying breakfast but Bloom and Flora ran through the halls late. They sbuck into the room but they did  ot escape Miss Griselda's watchful eye.

"Bout time what took you guys so long?" Stella asked.

"My fault I overslept." Bloom said.

"Not surprised, you habe to be kne of the hardest people I know to wake up." Blaire giggled making Bloom pout.

"But watch out for Miss Griselda, somehow I don't think she's a very nice person." Techna said.

"Young Ladies your attention please as id the tradition among magic schools the annual gala in honour of our new students sill be held tonight. Students of the Alfea college for fairies and the Red Fountain school for magicians will gather here in our castle to perform the traditional welcome gift exchange ceremony." Feragonda announcd causing the girls to errupt in excited chatter.

"Silence please! Miss Feragonda our Headmistress is speaking let's show a little respect." Griselda demanded.

"Thank you Griselda. One more thing I'd like to say I'm calling on all your creative minds to make rhis ordinary looking hall into a festive ballroom so today's classes are cancelled get to work and do us proud." Feragonda said.

Meanwhile at Cloud Tower school for witches. The Headmistress Miss Griffon was about to make an announcement.

"Attention please here come headwitchtress Griffon."

And in came Miss Griffon and she sat on her throne which looks above all over then as the witches sat on their chairs ready for the announcement.

"My young witches I have summoned you  here becuase I have some sad news to share, the fairies are holding a party tonight  and once again the witches of Cloud Tower have not been invited." Griffon said and  the hall errupted in boo's.

"Yes my friends I agree with you but this is an opportunity for you to test your xursing skills it is the duty of every witch in this school to crash this party and wipenthe small off their face they've snubbed us?

We'll make them pay and so I urge you to come up with a way to ruin their little fiesta. Submit your proposals and I'll select one, may the worst witch win." She said and say down and the students erupted in cheers.

"What do you think, should we come up with a little scheme?" Darcy asked.

"Why not." Icy siad.

"Oh come on we'd just be wasting our time." Stormy complained.

"Trust me Stormy Dear it'll be fun." Icy  grinned.

Back at Alfea the girls were walking down the hall.

"Classes are cancelled and this is just our second day." Techna said.

"What do we have to do for the party?" Bloom asked.

"Easy Bloom get ready to have a ball!" Stella said.

"I'll proved the decorations." Flora saud snapping her fingers and vines with flowers grew on a pillar.

"And I'll take care of the music, I mean what's  a party without dancing." Musa said.

"And I'll worry about what to wear because clothes are important to... and of course I refuse to go unnoticed. Well what do you think?" Stella said taking out a beautiful orange dress.

"It's gorgeous." Blaire said.

"Mind you it wasn't cheap, but look at it, it was calling me from the shop window, buy me buy me please." Stella said.

"And of course you answered It's pleas how very noble of you." Musa said.

"Well I'm bound to make an impression." Stella said.

"I heard the guys from Red Fountain are really cute." Flora said.

"Guys? As if I care about that." Techna said.

"Then why sre you dressed like an absolute diva?" Musa asked.

"That's besides the point you attend a ceremony you dress accordingly." Techna said.

"Yeah, sure." Stella said.

"Um sorry but you'll think they'll let us in dressed like this?" Bloom asked.

"Oh you guys." Flora said.

"You don't have a dress?" Stella asked.

"Yeah we didn't really know we'd be having parties so soon so..." Blaire trailed.

"Well that's no problem, there's a solution to everything and in this case it's called shopping." Stella said determined.

The girls were now in town looking through stores and trying on dresses.

"How about this one?" Bloom asked and everyone agreed that the blue dress she got was perfect.

"How about you Blaire are you going to come out?" Stella asked.

"Yeah, just hang on a minute and...what do you think?" Blaire said walking out of the changing room.

"Oh my It's so beautiful Blaire." Flora said.

"Thanks and like Stella it was calling out to me." She said dramatically making the girls laugh.

"Well it called out to the right girl." Stella said, the girls check the price tag ond they both muttered that It's too expensive.

"Hey don't you have that card you benefactor gave you?" Stella asked.

"Oh right." Blaire said taking it out as Bloom went back in th changing room to remove the dress. "Hey Bloom maybe i could p--"

"No Blaire, I  know that Bloom is your sister but you might offend her." Flora said.

"Oh..." Blaire said a little disappointed.

"Now what?" Bloom said a little sad she didn't get a dress.

"Well it's getting kinda late Bloom." Stella said.

"Yeah we've got to get back to Alfea." Techna said.

"You'll be alright?" Flora asked.

"Don't worry I'll find something." Bloom said as she ran off.

"Hey Flora you don't mind taking this to my room do you?" Blaire said handing her her shopping bag.

"Sure why?" Flora asked.

"Well I wasn't able to pay for Bloom's dress so the least I can do is help her loom for a dress." She said.

"That's so kind of you." Flora smiled.

"That's what sisters are for anyway thanks!" She yelled as she ran after Bloom.

"Hey Bloom wait up!" She yelled.

"Blaire what are you doing here shouldn't you be getting back to Alfea to get ready?" Bloom asked.

"Not until I help you find a new dress, now come on there's not much time till the part starts. Look there's a sale." She said and dragging her sister into the shop.

"Thank goodness!' Bloom said.

Meanwhile as the girls are getting ready for the party, Bloom and Blaire were still searching for a dress. Bloon went to a sales basket and started throwing out dresses looking which angered the clerk.

"Bloom look I found one." Blaire said holding up a blure dress.

"Oh wow that's great all it needs is a little alteration and it's perfect." Bloom said and they rushed to the till to pay and ran to school to finally get ready.

"I've recieved many suggestions, but none as digusting as yours." Griffon said as the three witches stand before her in her office.

"A horrible idea terrible despicable! In other words It's the best, well done you three great start to the year." Griffon said.

"Thanks professor." Icy said.

"Now please don't disappoint me." Griffon said.

"We'll get to work right away ma'am." Darcy said.

"Trust me we won't fail tonight you'll sleep with the sound of crying fairies." Icy said.

"The party is about begin and i still have to fix my dress." Bloom said.

"Then we gotta hurry!" Blaire said and they ran into their rooms.

"Kiko you've got to help me!" Bloom said busting into her room surprising Kiko. "This dress is way to long. Scissors, scissors." She said as she looked ariund for scissors.

Meanwhile in Blaire's room, she was also rushing around looking for a brush to style her hair when she saw Lola with it in her mouth.

"Oh thanks Lola you good girl." She cooed patting her pet's head as a thank you.

"Kyu!"

But as she was gettinf her hair styled she smelt something burning and firghtful rushed to Bloom's room.

"What's going on in here?!" She asked asnd saw Bloom trying to take out the fire with a pillow.

"Back up." She said and blasted the fire snuffing it out.

"What a disaster if only I had a pair of scissors." Bloom groaned.

"Why don't we ask the others if they habe a pair?" Blaire said.

"Oh yeah your right." Bloom said and the two left the room and walked down the hall.But  meanwhile underneath Alfea.

"Hey this is it what did I tell you, theses tunnels have been abandoned for centuries, back then they connected the three schools and were used in emergencies." Icy said as they walked throught the dark tunnels with flashlights.

"The entrance to Alfea is straight ahead." Darcy said holding the map.

"We're almost there then." Stormy said.

"Right. Let the fun begin." Icy grinned. Meanwhile back up top.

"This is ridiculous I can't even find a simple pair of scissors." Bloom said.

"We eould have gotten a pair from our friends if you didn't make us go to every single room to check." Blaire said.

"I know and I'm sorrt but it never hurts to check. Maybe we should go check in the store room." She said.

"Bloom." Blaire whined.

"I know, I know but this is the last room I promise and if I can't find it we'll fo to our friends." She said.

"Fine." Blaire sighed and they went to a door and opened it.

"Now which way do we go?" Darcy asked.

"Did you hear that?" Blaire asked.

"Don't ask me your the one with the map." Stormy said.

"Those voices, I recognise them." Bloom said.

"Yeah me to." Blaire said, but then they see light amd gasped and ran back up the stairs before they could be found by the flashlights as the three witches came into Alfea.

"Hey look the Red Fountain coat of arms." Icy said as they found a chest as they wandered the halls. "The gifts might be in there." She said.

"I wonder what those simpletons are gonna  give the fairies." Darcy said as the two girls hid behind a corner and listened in.

"Whatever they are we'll use them to wreak havoc and spread panic. That'll give us a chance to get the ring , come on Darcy show usbwhere it is go on." Icy Said.

"With pleasure dearest sister, illusion show the trix." She said and her eyes glowed and soon they are shown a picture of Stella.

"It's Stella." Blaire said. The pictuew then shows them where she put her ring which in a chest im her room.

"Great now we know where to find it. Come on Stormy time to do your thing" Icy said and Stormy smirked.

"At last." She said and blasted the chest opent to reveal golden eggs and Darcy took out one and opened it and butterflies fluttered out.

"Oh enchanted little eggs." She mocked.

"How tacky, anyway It's time for us to prepare our own surprise." Icy said and they all raised a finger in the air and thet glowed. "These presents shall become snake rat eggs!" She said.

"Which will hatch at the touch of a fairy." Darcy said.

"And will spread terror all over." Stormy said and the ybrought their fingers down to the eggs cursing them.

"Goodness no." Bloom said while Blaire gasped.

"That's just not right." She said. The eggs changed into that of snake rats.

"Well done sisters now let get outta here." Icy said and they left as they created a rift through the wall allowing them to run outside and hid in the nearby tall grass.

"We'll hide back here and enjoy the show" she said.

Inside Blaire and Bloom rushed instide the hall to warn the girls about the cursed eggs.

"Look there they are." Bloom said ponting in their direction and they rushed towards them until Blaire bumped into sky.

"Sorry." She said.

"Blaire are you okay?" Sky asked.

"Oh yes I'm fine." She said.

"Hey sky who're you talking to?" Stephan asked.

"Oh I was just talking to Blaire." He said.

"Hey there... oh and hello to tou two Bloom." Stephan said aa he noticed her behind Blaire.

"We're so happy to see you here." Sky said.

"Yeah us too but we really need to go." Blaire said dragging Bloom away as they ran.

"We're so happy to see you here?" Stephan asked making Sky cringe.

"Yeah, yeah I know." Sky said.

"Girls over here!" Bloom yelled as they stopped runnig  and gasped for air.

"There you are." Techna said.

"What took you so long?" Flora asked.

"This is an emergency, the witches are here." Bloom said.

"What are you talkimg about?" Stella asked.

"Icy, Darcy and Stormy havw cast s spell on the presents from Red Fountain we heard them talk about something called a snake rat." Blaire said.

"Snake rat, hmm? Let me consult my data base." Techna said. "Snake rats swamp creatures of the disgusta billus genus they eat toads--"

"Thank you Techna we get the picture. Slimy, vicious and venomous like the witches, but What's in it for them?" Stella asked.

"Stella let us finish the witxhes want to provoke a huge panic and use it as a diversion to get their hands on your ring." Bloom said.

"Hmm, that's quite the sneaky plan, we've got to stop the eggs from being handed out." Musa said.

"Oh too late, look." Flora said poiting into the hall where the eggs are being brought out.

"For you ladies I hope you like them." Prince Brandon said.

"Egg surprises." Musa said.

"Yes and the surprise is a very cuddly snake rat." Bloom said.

"We need a xounter spell and fast, come on let's form a circle. Repeat after me, what it once was let it be again" Stella said as they all held hands in a circle.

"What it once was let it be again, what it once was let it be again, what it once was let it be again." The girls chanted and with a glittering sparkles the counter spell slipped by the legs of the people and went to the eggs.

Prince Brandon gave one egg to a fairy and ehen she opened it an bunxh of butterflies flew out.

"Wow!"

The fairies then took an egg and opened one and let loose the glittering golden butterflies, while the girls sighed in relief that their spell worked.

"I hoipe this egg brings you luck." Prince Brandon said handing Stella an egg.

"I guess I'll find out doon enough if it does or not." She said.

"Let me see it." Musa said taking the egg.

"Flora are you thinking what I'm thinking bu any chance?" She asked.

"I am indeed and I've studdied professor Paledium's lesson very well." Flora said.

"It's all your Flora." Musa said handing her the egg.

"And now I'll make a little surprise for our three witchyittle friends." Flora said.

"What did you do to the egg?" Blaire asked.

"I'll tell you later meanwhile I want you teo to run and get changed it's getting late." Flora said, mea while outside Icy turned some grass to ice angry.

"I don't believe this the spell didn't work!" She growled.

"Alright let's go see." Stormy said.

"Nevermind Stormy, sooner or later the ring will be ours. I alwaus get what I want." She said.

The two girls finslly made it back to the dorms.

"Come on let's hop to it." Blaire said.

"Soery Kiko no time to play." Bloom said but then she saw the chest float by.

"Stella's Jewellery chest. I've got to stop it." Bloom said running after it, while Blaire hearinf the commotion from her room came out to find Bloom wasn't there.

"Bloom where did you go?" She wondered as she looked around the room. Meanwhile Bloom was xhasinf the box outside and from the chest Stella's ring popped out of the chest.

"Oh good heavens, this is very strange." She said but then gasped. "Oh no Stella's ring, it's flying around." Bloom said and ran after it. Up on the balcony Balire saw her running "where is she going the party's half way through." She said and dexused3to rin after her.

"Hang on someone is coming this way and so is the ring." Icy said as she watched from grass and soon Bloom caught up with the ring and grabbed it just bwfore she hit the ground.

"Gotcha!" She said as the witches behind the grass growl in anger.

"Unbelievable she's walking away with the ring." Icy said and jumped out of the grass along with her sisters.

"Bloom there you are what are doing out here?" Blaire said and she notcied the witches and gasped, Bloom rurned around wonderinf what shocked Blaire so much, but she dropped the ring in shock to find the witches right there.

"Uh oh this isn't good we're in trouble." Bloom said as the teo backed up, meanwhile Flora saw everything and is  ow worried.

"Poor Bloom and no poor Blaire the witches have got them cornered." She said against the window.

"Bloom is in trouble." Flora said but,

"Young ladies It's time to offer our guests, come and join the others and Musa will play something for us." Feragonda said making the girls worry for the teo sisters who are outside against the witches alone.

"Are you ready little girls?" Stormy asked as the three witches walk towards them, Icy sent a blast that froze the ground beneath them but the jumped over it and back to solid ground.

Darcy stomped on the ground creating a large crack im the earth  stoppimf them from going any further. Nexy Stormy  sent a tornado their way wich cornered  them as it got closer and they fell in, they looked up to see thst Icy got her hands on the ring case.

"May I do the honours?" Icy asked and Stormy jokingly bowed.

"Of course." She said.

"You guys are on your own this time and your friends are not around to help you. So long little fairies." Icy said summoning a spell.

"Come on Bloom, we are fairies and we must not fail." Blaire said raking out her hand for her sister to hold and Bloom took out hers and held it and the two began to glow and they transformed.

(For Blaire's transformation,  she looks up and a heart shines above her head, she raises her hands and the heart descends on her and twirls around her body and her dress appears from her wrists all the way to her boots, it also changed her hairstyle and grew her hair. She turns to the side and her back sparkles with a golden light and two golden wings sprout out)

After their transformation the girls stand before the witches in their new fairy forms as their hair flutters about.

"Wow, we transformed." Bloom said.

"I know and it's pretty cool and the dress is cute." Blaire said admiring their fairy outfits.

"Now looks like we're evenly matched." Bloom said as the two get ready to fight.

"That's an awfully cute fairy outfits." Icy said.

"Thank you I could gice you some tips to update that tacky jumpsuit if yoy want." Blaire said making Icy glare at her.

"Keep that up, but it's too bad you'll need more than that to win against us." Icy said.

"Well said sister." Darcy said. "Vertigo." She xhanted and her eyes glowed purple and hypnotic waves shot feom her eyes.

"What's going on? I suddenly feel dizzy all of a sudden." Blaire said as she and Bloom wobble.

"Same here we nust acoid the witches spell... that's it!" Bloom said and held Blaire's hand and they flew up avoiding the spell.

"I feel so much better." Blaire sighed.

"Fairies can fly and up here spells of illusion have no effect." Bloom said making Darcy growl.

"Got a problem Darcy?" Icy asked.

"Nasty little fairy." Icy said and summoned some cold weather. "Ice Prison." She said and blades of ice shot out of the ground. "Frostbite." She chanted and a face appeared on a shard that was behind Bloom and shot her down.

"Bloom!" Blaire yelled worried.

"Now let's put the icing on the cake, Ice burge!" Icy yelled and shot ice at her.

"I don't think so!" Blaire yelled and laded in front of Bloom amd summoned up a barrier to protect them and it did.

"Take this!" She yelled and sent a blast towards them sending Icy to the ground.

"Why you little." Stormy growled.

"It doesn't matter we got the ring so let's get outta here, this isn't the end." Icy said as they disappeared. After it was over the two turned back.

"Bloom are you okay?" Blaire asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, thanks for having my back." Bloom said and they hugged.

"Anytime." Blaire smiled.

"Bloom, Blaire!" Stella called gettimg their attention.

"You guys oh thank goodness are you okay?" Flora asked.

"We're fine but where were you all." Blaire asked.

"Sorry but we couldn't get away from the Headmistress." Stella said.

"Is everything alright?" Techna asked.

"Well we did manage to hold our own against them." Bloom said.

"You know you guys ran quite a risk." Techna said.

"We know but ythey habe Stella's ring, I'm sorry we couldn't get it back." Blaire said.

"Don't worry you guys  the ring is perfectly safe." Flora smiled.

"Huh?"

"What do you mean? Tell us." Bloom asked.

"Not before you two get dressed now." Flora said and the girls rushed to their rooms.

"We've got to hurry up." Bloom said and after a little alteration Bloom's dress was ready.

"Wow it looks great." Blaire said as she was fully dressed in her dress.

"Wow you look great!" Bloom said.

"Why thank you and you'll be too so lets get you changed." Blaire said picking up the dress. Pretty sokn the girls made it to the party and everyone adored their dresses which suited them perfectly as they walked down the hall and Feragonda nodded on approval.

"How do we look?" Bloom asked.

"Beautiful as a pair of speing flowers." Flora said.

"You don't thing we've forgotten, tell us what happened to the egg." Blaire said.

"Simple, while you were gettimg dressed, I did a little magicsl switcheroo with the egg and the ring which now lies in a safe place right Stella?" Flora said.

"Right." She said.

"I'd  love to see Icy's face when she opens the shell and a swam of beautiful butterflies comes out instead of that ring she so desperately  trying to get her paws on." Bloom said.

"Well that's not quite how it's gonna go." Flora said.

"Still be funny." Stella said.

And yes it was as Icy opened the egg instead of a ring she oh so hoped for it was a little duckling who kept callimg her Mommy which infuriated her.

"I hate him, I hate him!" She yelled as it jissed her face.

During the party Blaire felt someone tap her shoulder she looked back to find Sky.

"Hey there." She said.

"Um would you like to dance?" He asked.

"Oh well, I'd love to." She said putting her hand in his.

"You won't run away now will you?" He asked making her laugh.

"Not if you want me to, but really I won't run I promise." She said, meanwhile.

"Hey Bloom you wanna dance?" Stephan asked her.

"Sure." She smiled and took his hand and they danced together along with Sky and Blaire. The two sisters looked at eaxh other smiled at each other as they gave each other a wink.
