Hogwarts

First pov (Winter)
When I woke up, it was another normal day. My parents were not working because it was Tuesday, and they didn't work on Tuesday, and my sister was visiting her friend. I decided it was time to open my mysterious letter. I ran to my room and picked it up.

The letters are very interesting. I don't really believe that this is real. How can it be? I decided to ask my parents, but as they were still asleep, I had to wait. I picked up a book and started reading. After an hour, my mother and father woke up and came downstairs. I ran up to them and asked them about the so-called 'Hogwarts'. They looked as though they didn't understand. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I walked to the door. Behind it, stood a lady. She held out her hand and said: 'A late happy birthday to you miss Thompson!' I took her hand and we shook. 'Who are you?' I then asked. 'You are curios! I'm Minerva McGonagall, a deputy from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I assume that you read the letter?' She answered. I then said: 'Excuse me for my impolite manners, please come in!'
The lady walked in and I followed her. She greeted my parents and sat down. 'I am Minerva McGonagall, deputy from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Your daughter is a witch.' 'Excuse you!?' my father replied angrily. 'I mean it in a good way. I'm a witch, and there are also many wizards. Sometimes it occurs that two non-magical adults make a magical child, and then someone has to come and explain about the world that is hidden.' 'Ok, I see.' my mother replied. She had a face filled with confusion. After about an hour of explaining, we said goodbye. She gave me a map of the location to the place where I can do my shopping. I looked at my parents. There were tears in their eyes, but they looked like happy tears. I was also happy. Yes, I loved my parents, but I also liked adventure, and Hogwarts sounded like the place to be. I decided together with my parents that this opportunity was too big not to take, so I was going to Hogwarts! The time flew, and soon it was time for dinner. Xara came home, and we sat at the table. After a silence, I said, 'Xara, there is something you need to know.' it was another long conversation, and tears also joined. Even though we knew I would leave after a few weeks, it was an emotional rollercoaster. I hugged her over and over again, and she hugged me. We talked about everything, knowing that we wouldn't be able to talk much after this month. That night I dreamt about Hogwarts, and how awesome magic would be! I was excited and nervous. I was going to a school for witches and wizards! Awesome!
