*flashback*

" Sorry for breaking the rules but Second Young Madam Lan is now in the gates of Cloud Reccesses unconscious." He said and without second thoughts I dash out of the library pavilion and ran to the gates.

*3rd person POV*

Lan Wangji who isn't minding the rule ran as fast as he can.

At last his long awaited love had been seen.

But why does he feels something is off?

Is there any problem?

Why did his Wei Ying collapse?

All of this ran in Lan Wangji's mind as his feet ran towards the gates.

At last he arrives at the gate.

He saw his father already checking on his passed out bride who is still wearing his tattered wedding robes.

" Father, what happened?" Lan Wangji asked his father.

" There is nothing wrong. Maybe he passed out due to exhaustion." His father replied.

" Bring him to the Jingshi, I'll message the Jiangs first." He continued.

Lan Wangji then carried his beloved and let him lay in his bed.

He caresses his beloved's hair but then immediately frowned. He let go of his hair and went out of Jingshi.

He went to the Hanshi and talked about something with his father.

Meanwhile, the Jiang's arrived and went directly to Jingshi.

" A-Xian, my A-xian, are you okay?" Madam Yu said to his unconscious adopted son.

"A-Xian?" Jiang Yanli said with a bit of hesitation in her voice.

Wei Wu Xian moved. He is waking up from slumber.

" A-Xian my son." Jiang Fengmian said as he hugged his newly awaken son.

" Father, mother, Sister, brother, I'm already okay." He said with an uncomfortable smile.

" Hey why so formal? It's the first time I heard you calling mom and dad 'father' and 'mother'" Jiang Wanyin teases.

" I'm already married to the Lan Clan. I must be formal already." He said slightly smacking his brother's arm.

" A-cheng behave. A-Xian needs rest. Can't you see he looks tired." Jiang Yanli said, worrying.

" A-Xian, who took you? Why... How are you able to escape?" Jiang Fengmian asked.

" I don't know why father but, the clouds of resentment helped me. We were riding o...the carriage when I woke up. Then about a minute or two, the clouds of resentment started to attacked everyone there except me they made those bastard sleep then carried me till I reached Caiyi town after that I immediately ran towards here but before I finally reach the gates and enter Cloud Reccesses my vision started to go blank." He explained.

" Did they ever do something to you?" His mother asked.

" Uhmm... I don't know. I was asleep before the resentment attacked." Wei Wu Xian said while scratching his head.

" WuXian are you fine?" Asked his father in law who just newly arrived.

" Ahh... Uncle Lan I'm fine already." He responded.

" Hmmm you better be. Fengmian, Ziyuan, kids, you go to Wangji and eat first. I know you haven't had your lunch still. I'll stay with my son in law for the time being." Qingheng Jun said to them.

" Wait why is Lan Wangji not here to accompany his husband? It must be his duty right to protect my brother?" Jiang Wanyin complained.

" It's not that he don't want to be with WuXian right now, but I forced him to rest. He hadn't had proper sleep these past weeks. Go to him already. I'll keep WuXian company." Qingheng Jun said to them and they complied.

When they already went out Wei Wu Xian sighed and lay down to bed again.

" WuXian are you still tired?" Qingheng Jun asked.

" Umm somewhat Uncle Lan, I'm a bit sleepy. My body also hurts a lot." He responded.

" Sleep first. I will wake you up if Wangji came back." Qingheng Jun said and Wei Wu Xian really did sleep.

* With the Jiangs and Wangji about five in the afternoon.*

" Are you sure you can manage Lan Wangji?" Jiang Yanli worriedly asked.

" Hm. Wangji knows what to do." He responded.

" Okay now you may get inside Jingshi already. He is waiting for you." Jiang Wanyin said and they already go on their way.

Wangji arrived at Jingshi and looked at the man sleeping on their marital bed. He tighten his grip on his sword and went to their bed.

He caresses the hair of the man in the bed and slowly the man wake up.

" Are you okay now?" Lan Wangji asked.

" Hm... But I'm really tired and my body aches." He responded while pouting.

" Rest first. I'll have something to do first." Lan Wangji said softly.

" But I want my husband here in the bed with me." He said and extended his arms towards Lan Wangji.

" Later, I have something important to do." Lan Wangji reasoned.

" It's okay. It's really like that. Since you married me, a man you don't like anymore to be with me in bed. It's fine I know your disgusted with me." He said and lie down at the bed facing away from Lan Wang Ji, who seems not bothered by what his husband said and went to his study table.

* One week Later*

Lan Wangji woke up on the same time as he usually do. He immediately get out from bed and take a bath.

While he is taking a bath, Wei Wu Xian also was awaken. Unfortunately, his back hurt so much that is why he couldn't stand up.

When Lan Wangji already dress himself he went near the bed and looked at the man lying there with a back pain.

" Ughh... Lan Wangji, what have you done last night. My back really hurts." He whined.

" Last night. Just the two of us in this room. What do you think we have done to make your back hurt?" Lan Wangji said without emotion.

" Your such a beast. And you also know how to tease. Where is my Iceberg Lan Wangji?" He teases as he tried to get up.

" Now I return the Question.
