The Park

Josh and Tyler were sitting at the dining table in Tyler's house, their binders and text books spread out on the table with some snacks. Tyler had offered to let Josh come over to his house and help him study since he found out it was his first day at the school. Josh was grateful, and write down the answer down onto his paper.

"And... Done!" Josh says with a grin as he finished writing down the answer, making him complete the assignment. Tyler smiled and took a sip of his soda, nodding afterwards. "Yep. We're all done." Both of them began putting their stuff away into their book bags, and Josh got an idea. "Hey Tyler?" Tyler looked up and over at Josh. "Hmm?" He asks, making a hum of question. "Want to go to the park or something?"

Both boys were walking in the park, looking around at the brightly colored leaves in three different colors. It was getting close to October, and the leaves were turning vibrant shades of orange, red, and yellow. Tyler hummed softly as he walked next to the slightly taller male, whom was listening to Tyler's hums with a small smile on his face. They weren't really heading to any specific place, until Tyler spotted the swings. Child mode activated.

Josh looked next to him, only to find the dark haired male had disappeared. He looked around, and saw Tyler sitting on a swing with a childish grin on his face. Josh grinned and chuckled, running a hand through the purple floof of hair. He walked over to the swings, standing in front of the giggling, happy boy. It had been a while since Tyler had been on the swings, and wanted to swing on one before Josh needed to go back to his house.

"Want me to push you?" Josh asks, to which Tyler nods quickly with an adorable smile, making tiny wrinkles near the corners of his eyes. A light pink dusted Josh's cheeks as he smiled, walking behind Tyler, pushing him gently. Tyler was having loads of fun with Josh pushing him on the swing, and he wished that the time that he and Josh were spending at the park would never end. In fact, being with Josh actually made his forget all about that voice in his head...

- Josh's POV -

As Josh arrived home, he was greeted with the smell of dinner, and the noise of his siblings and the sounds of his dog bounding towards him. He chuckled and bent down, petting the shepherd on his head as his cheek was licked. "Hey Max." He says with a chuckle as he set his bag down by the front door.

A young girl ran up to Josh, grinning. "Hey Josh! Did you like your first day?" She asked, her big brown eyes expectant for a good answer. Josh smiled and nodded, ruffling the girl's long, brown hair a little. "Yeah, my first day was pretty good. How about yours, Rachel?" He asks. "Mine was good too!" She replies gleefully.

"Josh? Is that you?" A woman's voice said to the boy who just entered the house. "Yes mother!" Josh replied to his mother. His mother was the average height got a woman her age, she had semi-long blondish hair and brown eyes.

Josh only lived with his mother, his dog, and his sister. His father had left when he was about 4. It hurt him to think about it, it really did, but he tried to brush it off as best as he could. He sat down at the dinner table with his mother and his sister. After a little bit of eating, he told them about the day he had, and about the amazing boy he had met at school today.
