it would've been nice to see you go beyond listing adjectives, although i admit this may only be out of personal preference. real criticism: i would balance out her character a tiny bit by adding some more negative traits; you gave me one or two negatives trait out of six, depending on whether or not secretive counts as negative or not. even with being worrisome, she seems like a typical soft and shy character, which isn't inherently bad, but you might wanna give her some extra quirks to let her stand out more

i'm confused: is she supposed to have black fur which has stripes, to have black stripes directly on white fur, or to have black stripes upon a dark field? only the last of those options is genetically possible- since i don't know what your intention was, i don't know how to grade this. no problem with the eyes, though. as previously mentioned, i like seeing uncommon names be used, and as such is the case with vine-. she doesn't have her full name yet, but i hope you do her justice! no pressure-

-i'm going to assume you mean a melanistic bengal. i don't know what you mean by this?? again, you didn't give an eye colour. love her name though!

-white tabby? no other colours are listed, and cats can't have stripes directly on white fur... no problem with the eyes, though, and -tooth is quite the rare suffix, so good on you lol

there's also a point to be raised about how this family isn't fully genetically possible; assuming pantherflower is in fact a bengal, birdpaw should be one as well, and there's no way for sootpaw herself to have ended up non-white and non-tabby, but i'll let it slide because there's no way you'd know that unless you research cat genetics. just a heads-up

backstory ::

sootpaw was always very passionate about protecting kin, which makes kin her weakness. when she was born, sootpaw was the quietest of the litter, never playing with the other kits and always hanging around her siblings or mother. it made her slightly boring to her friends (and even littermates) and she grew up with not many people around her. when she is apprenticed, she gets a wonderful mentor whom she gets her amazing hunting skills from. the night she is apprenticed, she and two other cats, a loner and a tribe cat, have a special dream from starclan and the tribe of endless hunting to do something that will save their clan's, tribe's and families lives

i assume it cuts off because you're going to write a story with her, so i understand why it's short, but i would've liked to see the rest of her story- have you yet to figure it out? still, about half of your paragraph was talking about how everyone sees her as mild, which is... not ideal? xD i'm intrigued though, with the tribe and loner becoming involved with her life. not something you see every day! however, there isn't much story here, as this paragraph seems to talk about the things before her story really begins- it's almost wholly about her kithood- and only the last sentence gets into what her adventure will be about. it'll be interesting to see her her kin being her weakness plays a part in her story!

overall, sootpool is a pretty dang good oc! however, i'd have liked to see more backstory, and i still don't have a real idea of what vinepaw or pantherflower look like- i just used my own guesswork. don't see too many stories concerning the tribe! i suggest fleshing out sootpaw's personality a little and adding more to her story as soon as you get the inspiration!
