Adira the Horse

Time's POV

Everyone started freaking out as soon as Warriors hit the ground.

"Everyone stay calm!" I said loudly.

The guy in blue knelt beside Warriors with Hyrule.

Hyrule began to check Warriors over.

"He seems healthy. But this pulse is a little to fast which could have been because of the Wolf." Hyrule said.

I saw Wind out of the corner of my eye. He was staring at the new guy for some reason... no, he was staring at the space around the new guy.

Link felt a area under one of Warriors' sleeves.

'There's something under here.' He signed.

I furrowed my eyebrows. We were all mute during our adventure, but we never used HSL (Hylian Sign Language) we were just silent.

Link pulled up Warriors' right sleeve and pulled up the chainmail.

Everyone gasped.

A bandage was tied around Warriors' arm. Black veins traced away from it. Link untied the bandage and revealed the wound.

Sky, Wind and Four looked away with pale faces.

The wound was as black as the veins. It didn't look deep, but it went deep enough to puncture a few veins.

"He's been poisoned." Hyrule said.

The overall sense of worry increased rabidly. "Is he going to be alright?" Sky asked.

'Hard to say right now.' Link signed. 'But I know someone who can help.'

"Really?" I asked, worried.

'Yes. Zelda prides herself in knowing antidotes and healing remedies.' Link assured us.

"Great, where is she?" Legend exclaimed. I smirked Legend really does care. Beside him, Sky smiled distantly as he thought about his Zelda.

'Hard to tell.' Link signed, causing a sigh to ring through the night. 'She's never in one place. But she is most likely in Kakariko village with Impa.'

Legend, Sky and I stiffened slightly but we are used there being other Impa's already.

'It's not far.' He assured us. 'It'll just take us about two or thee days.'

"Days?!" Multiple people (not including Twilight) exclaimed.

'Yes, on horseback.' He continued. 'There's a herd of wild horses close by. I can get a few horses for you, and call my own.'

The others were staring at him in shock. Nothing about anything that has come out of his mouth in the past minute was normal for any of us.

"That's good." I stepped up. "The sooner we get there the better. Hyrule, you try to help Warriors. At the very least keep him from dying. Twilight and I will go with Link to get the horses. Any questions?"

"Yes." Legend said. "Whose turn is it to cook?"

I looked around at everyone. None of them were anxious to cook, nor to eat another's cooking.

Link raised his hand to get our attention. 'I can cook.' He said. 'If that's alright...' He added at everyone's suspicious looks.

"It's quite alright." I assured him. "Boys, be sure to help Hyrule with whatever he needs help with while Warriors needs it, okay?"

They nodded.

"Good. Now, let's get those horses." I said, nodding at Link.

He stood up and began to walk away, pausing to make sure Twilight and I were following.

Twilight lit his lantern to help us see, but Link seemed to know these woods like the back of his hand.

After a few minutes of walking we came to the edge of a clearing.

In the middle of said clearing was a herd of wild horses, just as Link promised.

Link signed for them to wait there. We watched as Link crept into the meadow.

He jumped on one that was closest to the forest. She didn't make much noise and was easily calmed by Link. She had a brown coat with white spots. Link rode her over to where we were waiting.

Link fed her an apple to make her trust him more.

He took a vine and fashioned a makeshift lead rope out of it. He pooped it around her neck and handed the end to Twilight.

When the vine was safely in Twilight's hand, Link dismounted and crept back toward the herd one again.

He repeated his process three more times.

Twilight held the first horse (now named Buttercup) as well as a black stallion with white socks named Rider.

I held a pink and white mare named Mipha (it was Link's idea and I think he had a good reason for it), and a chestnut mare named Acorn.

We led the horses away from the herd and out of earshot before Link whistled.

A pure white mare wearing royal garb.

'This is Adira.' Link told us as he stroked her mane.

"That's a pretty name." Twilight complemented. "How'd you come up with it?"

'Honestly? It just came to me in a dream.' He said. 'I think it was my sister's name.'

"Think?" Twilight asked in concern.

Link ignored him and started to lead us back to camp.
