CHAPTER FIFTEEN

REI'S POV

     This night seems too calm, and I hate it, because I feel excited, and it's not good, whenever I get excited, there is danger, danger excites me, and right now, my heart is beating wildly, and some waves of euphoria are spreading to my brain.

-"Rei?" A calm, yet worried voice asked from the seat beside me.

My hand was grabbing the steering wheel so hard that the blood was cut from my fingers, and I discovered that the lollipop in my mouth was crushed by my teeth.

I sobered a bit from my previous situation and turned slightly to meet her eyes.

-"What is it baby girl?"

-"Something bad is about to happen isn't it?"

-"Why are you saying that?"

-"You are excited!"

I smiled and spit what was left from the lollipop out of the window of the car, it was dark, and the road seemed empty, I was tempted to step on the gas a bit so we can reach the town quickly, but safely first!

-"Don't worry, what about you take a nap, I promise to put you on bed too!"

-"No, I wanna stay awake and talk to you, it's the first time we are taking a trip together!"

-"Do as you wish my little bunny" I ruffled her hair a bit

-"Don't ruin my hair!" She slapped my hand away

-"Whose gonna see you? It's late night, as if a hot dude is gonna come out of nowhere to remark your ruined hair!"

-"Shut up!" She whined

And at this moment, my heart started beating wildly, the smell of danger sent me to an excited mess.

-"STAY STILL!" I shouted just as a Harley motorcycle came out of nowhere from the forest and sliding to the main road, and I honked to warn them.

I stepped on the brakes hard, I am sure the wheels left marks on the road.

A form went rolling on the road while the Harley was dragged to the other end of the road.

-"Rei! Rei!" A panicked voice called beside me

-"It's okay! It's okay! Everything is gonna be okay! Just stay here, I'm gonna check something and come back okay?" She nodded.

I shouted from my window to the form on the road

-"ARE YOU OKAY?"

I went out of the car and rushed to the form on the road, not moments later I was by their side

-"I need...your...phone..p-please!" Whispered a boy

-"Okay! Sure, here!" I gave him my phone.

He took it with a thanks, and managed with a shaking body to send something.

He returned the phone and shook something beside him, it seemed like a wolf.

-"Frost! Come on" he begged shakily

-"Is he okay?" Asked Pach beside me.

-"Go get the first aid, they need help, I'm gonna call an ambulance" I told her

-"okay" she run to the car.

I was trying to use my phone, but it seemed that there was a problem, after a few tries I understood.

-"What did you do to my phone! It's hacked!" I asked him suspiciously

He just ignored me and started pleading the wolf.

Not moments later, a black hybrid run past us to the forest road, a smell of danger made the excitement rush through my body and made me shaking,

I returned to the guy with a suspicion, something is not going well.

-"What's going on?" I asked seriously.

-"Please help Frost!" He tried to plead while hugging The wolf.

He was repeating his pleas like a prayer until he went numb.

-"Pach, I need you to call the police, the ambulance, and stay with the boy safely by the bus station there, I'm gonna go check something out there."

-"But, Rei!"

-"Do you trust me?"

-"Of course I do!"

-"Then, this is your first mission, do what I asked you to do, and take care of the boy." I winked and ruffled her hair

-"Don't ruin my hair" she whined

-"He is not awake, don't worry!"

She blushes hard and I laughed out loud.

I run to the car, took my jacket and guns, and run to the forest.

After walking for a bit, I found two guys down cold, God!

I hide between the trees and followed my instincts.

After a few moments, I found a car, it was a jeep, and her plackets were the same as the one declared stolen two weeks ago.

I searched inside and found some guns, I took one and hide it, and continued walking ahead.

I spotted a house, a beautiful one, and between the trees, there was the black hybrid, but no one was inside.

I walked to the house, and spotted movements inside, with my special skills, I entered unnoticed.

The house was ruined, I went to what seemed a studio, there was something odd, the rush of excitement returned again, but, before I enter the studio, I felt someone behind me, his fist never connected with my head, because my own fist connected to his face. And he fell cold on the floor. But the rush was still here, and it has been a while since I felt it, about five years ago.

-"Still skillful!" That voice!

I groaned and turned left.

-"So it was you!"

-"What me?"

-"My phone is hacked!"

Her eyes seemed wide for a bit, but she hides it.

-"What are you doing here?"

-"I could ask you the same!" I answered just as we heard a loud boum from outside the house.

We rushed outside to group of bad guys.

-"They have guns!" She mocked

-"You are the same as them! So why don't you join your friends?"

She looked at me with a hard look

-"I am no criminal!" She stated angrily

-"Yeah, whatever you say!"

The fight started when the girl attacked the first guy near her, she fights like a she wolf, unfortunately she works for the dark side.

After a few moments, we finished them.

-"I came here for a friend"

She stated out of nowhere

-"Yeah, to drink some blood together" I said flatly, and believe me, after all those year of training, I haven't seen her hand move, only felt pain spread on the left side of my face, it took me by surprise.

-"She is in danger! I don't even know if she is alive!" I spotted something shining in her eyes.

I wasn't prepared for this, oh God help me!

Just then, we spotted the hybrid moving into the forest.

-"Shit!"

-"What?"

-"That's the car I used to come here"

-"You own a hybrid?"

-"No! Actually, I borrowed it!"

The look in her eyes told me another thing.

-"Yeah! Borrowed it, my arse!"

PACHMINA POV

     The guy was still out cold, the ambulance came finally and started taking care of him, the police were late.

The boy was shot, and got broken ribs, and I don't know what else, I was helping them taking care of him, the ambulance was parked near the bus station, the road was empty, the night was dark and a little bit cold.

I was sitting inside the ambulance beside him when he started fidgeting.

I leaned over him to observe him and see if he was waking up, when suddenly, beautiful eyes met mine, he was looking at me strangely.

-"Are you an angel?" He managed to ask

I just smiled.

His fingers touched my hair and took cold of the ends of my long hair.

-"I love you haire, it's soft and beautiful, reminds me of coffee"

And with that, he went out cold.

Oh!My!God!

I rushed out of the ambulance, my face was burning with heat!

-"Are you okay miss?" One of the paramedics asked

-"Yeah! Sure!" I tried to smile

I heard the sirens of the police cares, when I spotted something strange...

There, about 300 meters, someone was coming riding a bike, and as the person came near, we noticed that it was two guys on a bike, and as they were approaching, the police arrived, and a black hybrid zoomed out of the forest to the main road!

God! What the hell is going on?
