It's darker than usual when I wake up, and to my surprise I see that the doors are already open. Why didn't I wake up before? Then I see the sky. At first, I think that it's just cloudy, which is odd in itself since the Glade always has sunny weather. But it's completely grey, almost like it isn't a real sky at all.

"Bloody hell," Newt sits up, staring at the completely colourless, sunless, sky.

"Yeah, that's about right."

As we make our way to the kitchen, I notice a very discernible atmosphere of nervousness around the Glade. Nobody knows what's going on, and the sky just going grey is certainly something to be worried about.

I'm just starting on my lunch/breakfast when Alby approaches me. In classic Alby fashion, he gets straight to the point.

"The girl's awake, and she's gone."

"What? Where's Clint?" I turn around, not waiting for an answer and walking quickly towards the homestead.

"Clint, where is she?" I yell as I run up the stairs. He meets me at the doorway, slightly pink in the face.

"Dunno," he says, "she was there one second then she just buggin' left!"

I don't wait for anything else, just run back down the stairs and into the Glade. There isn't far that she could have gone, the Glade isn't exactly a huge place.

It doesn't take long to find her, she's leaning against the stone where the Deadheads meet the wall, Thomas sitting opposite her.

"What the hell?" I say as I arrive, panting from running across the Glade. "How'd you get here? Clint said you there then gone like that." I snap my fingers. The girl, Teresa if Thomas is to be believed, stands up.

"Guess he forgot about the part where I kicked him in the groin and jumped out the window."

I turn at the sound of a laugh behind me to see Alby standing with Clint, who's previously pink-tinged face is flaming scarlet.

"Don't worry, Clint," he says, slapping the Med-jack's back, "you're definitely not the first to get your butt beaten by a girl!"

"Keep that up and you'll be next," Teresa fires back and Alby raises his hands in a placatory gesture.

"Calm down, I've had my fair share of female-induced butt-beating before."

I chew my lip, then turn to Thomas.

"Greenie," I say, "we need to know who you are and who this girl is." I hold up a hand to stop him from saying anything else. "I know I said it was just coincidence, but there's a point where coincidences become a pattern. Now, how do you know her?"

"I swear I don't-" Thomas starts but I cut him off.

"She came straight to you after she woke up!"

"So, what?" he says, "We know each other! Or maybe we used to, I can't remember anything!"

"Ok," I say, taking a deep breath, "Ok." I turn to Teresa. "What did you do?"

"(Y/N) what-?" Teresa shushes Thomas as soon as he starts talking.

"I triggered something." She says coolly, "not on purpose I swear. The Ending. I don't know what it means."

"Alby what's wrong?" Thomas addresses the other guy and I heave a sigh, showing him the face of my watch.

"The Doors, shuckface, the bloody doors aren't closing."
