Every muscle in your body was sore, burned, and screamed at you to stop.

The scorching feeling in your chest increased with every movement.

Every breath you took felt like it was going to be the last and your heart seemed like it was about to burst out of your chest.

But you ignored all those signs. the adrenaline in your veins far surpassed all the factors screaming at you to stop running.

There was only one thing on your mind.

Katsuki.

As you ran through the woods following the wizard-like villain you reached an empty space, then you realized that all the other LOV members were there, gathering to leave.

When Dabi saw you and some of your other classmates following Mr compress he quickly shot a wall of flames, burning a part of your arm.

Once again you ignored the pain.

"Give us back Bakugou you bastards" you hissed through your teeth.

Dabi chuckled darkly, "Can't. Sorry. The boss needs him"

"let's see if you are still laughing when you start feeling your blood cells freeze one by one"

Dabi had known you for a while. He had seen you mad. He had watched the UA games. But the way you said that sentence, the lack of emotion and humor in your tone sent chills through his spine that he had to hide. He knew you were not joking. For some reason unknown to him you cared so much about the blond boy that you would kill for him.

No hesitation.

Dabi knew the best option right now was to leave. Fighting wasn't going to end well, especially since they were outnumbered.

The scarred villain knew that you weren't going to use blood bending. Spending time with you and Kei, hearing the tests that had been done to you in the lab, the results, allowed him to understand that using that specific area of your quirk took an extreme toll on your body. It brought you close to death many times before. You both knew that if you used it now, that you were still recovering, it was also going to be the last time you used your quirk.

But nonetheless from the sheer determination in your eyes the villains understood there was no need for you to use bloodbending. You were after one thing and you were going to do everything in your power to get it.

Behind Dabi the warp villain you had also encountered at U.S.J. appeared. He had come to bring back the villains to their secret hideout.

As Dabi instructed everyone to get back to base the masked man flaunted the orb that contained Bakugou.

He said in a smooth voice, "I guess it is time to wish your friend goodbye". And then he began making his way the gate. But before he could fully enter it, a laser beam shot to his face, making him forcefully drop the orbs. Aoyama.

"Shoto. Ice. Now" you yelled and a wave of ice appeared next to you. Just like you had done million times in practice you used your quirk to form sharp ice daggers and launched them at the villains.

Simultaneously some of your classmates rushed to catch the orb; Izuku's legs failed him and he was left behind, too hurt from a previous fight. Meanwhile, Todoroki and Shoji both ran at the orb at full speed. But before they got to it metal chains slammed them back, trapping their hands and feet, causing them to be unable to move.

Shiny black leather shoes were the first thing the two classmates saw and as they moves their gaze up they realized the familiar face of the man who had captured you at the beginning of the year.

The dark melanin-rich skin and contrasting emerald eyes.

Kei walked with his back straight and chin up high. He bent down to pick up the turquoise orb, inspected it, and smirked. He tossed it to Dabi, who swiftly caught it and glanced at Shoto chained on the floor.

"How sad for you... Shoto... Todoroki." he purred.

But you could barely process what was happening, You were frozen when you saw him appear.

'How am I still so weak after all those months? How does he still have this effect on me?' you thought to yourself.

And then realization struck.

This wasn't about you anymore. You looked around at your classmates, teachers, and pro heroes around you. Some were injured, many would end up suffering from mental health consequences because of this.

You thought of Katsuki. The possibilities of the things that the LOV could do to him, just as they had done to you.

You felt adrenaline rush, your nerve endings scream at you to act, and without a second thought, you took the ice that Todoroki had left behind and used it against Kei. Shooting small bullet-like pieces of ice you advanced, forcing Kei to dodge all of them.

You didn't give him time to attack. You needed him out of the way to get to Dabi. To get Bakugou.

But he wasn't going to give up without a fight. Matching you, he used sharp arrowheads and threw them at you using his quirk. Using an ice wall you easily blocked them.

"You are gonna have to work harder this time," you said, angry.

"My pleasure" He replied, his voice low and sultry like always.

The metal controlling villain looked called out to the masked villain "Go ahead and release him." he simply said; it was a smart move. He had just increased your distractions and more importantly your emotions by 1000.

Subjectively it could make you stronger, it was a risky move, but he had other plans in mind, plans that would destroy yours.

You saw him. Bakugou was ok, he wasn't hurt. Now all you needed was to get him back.

He yelled out your name. His voice was strained and hoarse.

Hearing it made your body burn with determination.

You needed an opening. You weren't lying when you spoke before. This time you intended to leave Kei with more than a few scratches and bruises. You wanted to leave damage.

Making it obvious you were about to attack Dabi, you threw an ice blade. It was fast enough to be heard through the air like a whip. Dabi was too busy holding Katsuki in place.

Kei used a shield of metal and shot it towards Dabi, blocking him from the ice, but just as he did that, the ice changed trajectory thanks to you and flew straight towards Kei.

You heard a sharp inhale as the ice connected with its target.

It landed right to the side of his navel. Not to kill, just to cause a lot of issues.

As he tried to recover you ran towards Dabi, forming ice claws at the tips of your fingers, ready to engage in combat.

Kei had crouched down, grabbing his wound with the ice still inside, he turned and saw you were about to engage with the fire villain, so with the little force he had left the sent chains grabbing your arms and legs slamming you to the floor, pulling you back.

You yelled loudly, not because of the pain but frustration, and then fire came from the other villain's palms and directly at you. In a split second, you tried to cover your head and turn around as best as you could with the chains around.

"(Y/N)!" Katsuki cried out, his distressed voice sent shivers through your spine.

Luckily for you, the flames didn't reach you. And Kei had gotten up with the help of another villain, making his way back to the vortex.

Throwing the chains off you, you stood up, muscles aching, and ran towards the purple and black cloud. Though you weren't fast enough.

The villain holding Katsuki started walking backward and sighed, "You really don't give up, huh? Don't worry though. We'll see each other soon..." he disappeared into the black mist.

You ran as fast as he could to save Katsuki, but no matter how fast you ran, Katsuki was almost completely submerged into the blackness of the portal, his crimson eyes portraying a mixture of worry and fear. "Stay back... Y/n" was the last thing you heard before he vanished into the warp gate.

Katsuki was gone. You let out a blood-curdling scream as you dropped to the ground. Your quirk had been overexerted, every pain catching up to you now, your body too weak to move.

Warm tears burned as they fell along your cheeks. You looked up and tried to get yourself to stand. Kei was limping towards the gate, he was inches away from it, and you weren't going to let him go.

Unfortunately for you, he had the same idea.

"Grab her' was the last thing you heard before you found yourself surrounded by a bunch of the remaining villains. Restraints were quickly put on you even though you attempted to put up a fight and you were dragged into the gate along with your worst enemies.
