Send Me An Angel

So I told Emanuel my side of the story. About meeting Dean at a kid's playhouse. About how I've been trying to hide Venom from them until, well...they found out about him.

I told you to let me kill them.

"So, your brother..." Emanuel started.

"Sam," Dean and I answered.

"Sam. What's his diagnosis?"

"Well," Dean began before clearing his throat. "It's not exactly medical."

He's seeing Lucifer in his mind for Christ's sake. I've met looney but that really takes the cake.

Emanuel nodded. "That should be fine. I can cure illness of a spiritual origin."

"Spiritual?" I questioned as I poke my head out from the back to look at Emanuel. "And what about me? Let's say this symbiote gets annoying and I want to get rid of him."

Emanuel thought about it. "No. The symbiote must stay with you until it could find another healthy host."

Ha! You can't get rid of me that easily.

I gave a mock pout. "Too bad. But can you really fix Sam? Some sick son of a bitch did this to him."

I could see Dean grip the steering wheel. I could almost see the fumes coming off him.

He reeks of it.

"You're angry," Emanuel pointed out.

Dean nodded. "Well, yeah. Dude broke my brother's head."

"He betrayed you, this dude. He was your friend?"

I scoffed. "Oh, please. From the stories Sam and Dean told about him, this guy is anything but their friend." I reached over and placed my hand on Dean's shoulder to give him a comforting/reassuring rub. To let him know that I'm there for him. "The guy's practically Satan himself. But he's gone, otherwise, Venom and I would have killed him."

Ooh, I wonder what the devil tastes like.

I saw the small smile on Dean's face as he brought one hand up and grabbed mine. His thumb started to massage my fingers as his way of saying thanks.

He better get your hand off you, now!

"You guys killed a lot of people, haven't you?" Emanuel asked. His eyes glancing at mine and Dean's hands which made me pull away. "I could sense that you three kill a lot of people. Mostly Venom."

Hey, those people deserved it. They were a bunch of airheads that wanted everything handed to them on a silver platter. I would have gotten them all if it wasn't for Spiderman!

"Honestly, I - I don't know if he's dead," Dean said after a while. "I just know that this...whole thing couldn't be messier. You know, I used to be able to just shake this stuff off. You know, whatever it was. It might take me some time, but...I always could. What Cas did...I just can't - I don't know why."

"Well, it doesn't matter why."

"Of course, it matters."

"No. You're not a machine, Dean. You're human." Emanuel paused. He glanced at me through the mirror before he turned his attention back to Dean. "You have emotions like the rest of us. There are some things that you can't shake off." Then there was another pause "Your friend's name was Cas? That's an odd name."

Like Emanuel is such a great name.

Dean finally stopped at a small liquor store. Finally, I need to stretch my legs. He told Emanuel to stay in the car while I got out. My muscles were sore from sitting down all night.

He's staring at you. Again.

Oh, please. He's not.

Remember, who's the one inside you? Me. And I'm going to rip his head off if he keeps looking at you.

Oh, please, you just hate him for attacking us. You liked my mom when you first met her.

Cause she's feisty. He's not. He's just stupid.

I stopped stretching and looked at Dean, who really was looking at me. "We going or what?" I asked. I could really use some ships right now.

And dark chocolate!

Dean snapped out from his stare and nodded. We went inside the liquor store. Dean went towards the beer while I grabbed a bunch of chocolate and chips. I smiled as I walked over to Dean and held the items in my arms.

"Who's the food for?" Dean asked amusingly.

I held up my bag of Doritos. "This is for me." I motioned to the others. "The rest is for Venom."

To my surprise, he let out a soft chuckle as the door opened. Dean and I looked up to see someone coming right for us while the small chill went down my spine.

Demons.

Dean grabbed the demon-killing knife from his pocket before he gently pushed me behind him. He spun around and tried to stab the demon, who caught Dean's arm and pushed him back. I dropped all the goodies and grabbed the demon's arm before twisting it. I pulled him towards me before I twisted his arm behind his back and used my free hand to bash his head against the ice machine. I pulled the demon back and turned him around so Dean could stab him in the heart. The demon's eyes flickered yellow while it slowly died. Dean yanked the knife out of his body before looking at me. I gave him a small nod, letting him know that I'm ok.

Great. Because there are more demons on aisle 2.

Dean and I walked over to the next aisle and there were, in fact, two more demons. Their black soulless eyes staring at us with a small grin coming from one.

Dean looked annoyed already and went to stab one of the demons. The demon was able to block Dean and knock the knife out of his hand while I went after the other demon. I went to punch him before he blocked it, which worked because I was able to elbow him. The demon grabbed me by my shoulders and tried to pick me up but Venom's tendrils came out of my back and pushed the demon off me. Then the tendrils grabbed the demon and pulled him closer to me.

Open wide.

I opened my mouth so it could be replaced by Venom's. Venom's tongue came out of me and wrapped itself around the demon's throat before he forced his way down mine.

I grabbed the demon and ripped his body in half before chucking the lower half to the side. My mouth went back to normal as I spun around and looked at Dean, who got pushed to the ground by the other demon. I was about to take a step forward but I felt something grab my back and gasped when something sharp went through my chest.

Dean's eyes widened. "Lexa!" he screamed as the demon's mouth opened so he could leave his host. "Emanuel, what did you do?!"

I kept gasping for air as the knife got pulled out of my chest. I looked down to see the huge hole in my chest but Venom was slowly patching it up. Dean looked at the wound before he came over to me. Blood covering my shirt but no stab wound.

"You ok?" Dean asked as he grabbed my shoulders.

I couldn't speak from my shock, so I have him a little nod.

"Sorry, I thought she was one of them," I heard from behind. Dean still held on to my shoulders as we looked at our new guest. Leather jacket. Dark clothing. Curly hair. She had a lopsided grin and looked like a raging bitch.

"Meg," Dean muttered.

Meg tilted her head to the side. "Dean, Dean, Dean. You got some 'splainin' to do."
