Lunch Lunch Lunch

When the bell rings I scurry out of the classroom, I wait at my locker for Miji, but I receive a text from her saying she has a club meeting so she can't go to lunch. I sigh, guess I can go to the library.

All of the sudden someone links arms with me and skips down the hall. I look up to see none other than Kevin Moon.

He's much taller than me but then I look to my left to see Chanhee walking next to me, and he's even taller.

"Oh. Hi," I say, trying to get out of Kevin's grasp.

"hey," chanhee says back. Kevin waves and nods to many people passing through the hall. Sometimes I forget how popular he is, because he seems so normal. Oh yeah, and because he wants to be friends with me. like what??

People stare and I get some dirty looks from a few people.

"Um, I was just going to the library, Miji has a meeting and I-"

"Nooo, you said you were going to eat lunch with us!" Kevin exclaims.

"Huh?? No I don't remember saying that," I tell him.

Kevin takes out his phone and shows me the "evidence"

"I said 'Whatever'" I point out.

"Yeah, and when Chanhee says 'whatever' that means yes basically," Kevin says, and we stop at the cafeteria doors.

Chanhee sighs and shakes his head.

I sigh, there's no getting out of this one. "Fine. At least give me your jacket please,"

Kevin takes off his black zip up immediately and hands it to me.

I take Chanhee's white sweatshirt off my waist and put in on normally, with the hood pulled over my head.
Then I tie Kevin's black zip up on my waist to cover my skirt. I tie my hair back into the hood and put on random mickey mouse sunglasses that Chanhee had in his locker for some reason, the boys stare at me confused.

I take a breath, "Okay, I"m ready now. Just act like I'm one of the guys," I say seriously.
Kevin bursts out laughing and Chanhee smirks a tiny bit.

"People are going to notice you no matter what because your so short," Chanhee teases and measures the top of my head to just barely his shoulder .

"What am i witnessing??" Kevin asks.

"You are witnessing a girl in disguise okay? Just shut up do you want me to eat here or not??" I glare at them. "that means none of this," I say, and unlink arms with Kevin.

"Okay, whatever you say, HAN," Kevin giggles.

"Good, that's good. Okay, get a move on it," I say. Chanhee opens the door for himself, as usual, and Kevin and I go in after.  Some people look over but most are preoccupied with their own friends.

We walk over to their usual table, and I start to get nervous, there's literally 10 other boys they sit with. I pause and Chanhee sees me.

"It's okay, they're nice. Mostly you can just ignore them, that's what I do," he says and I nod.
The table is so loud and chaotic I don't know where to sit. Eventually we find empty spots in the middle of the table.

"Who's that??" one of them asks.
"Shhh, this is Han" Kevin says.
"Huh?? Who?" another asks.
"It's Sunhee," Chanhee whispers.
"Ohhh, I see," someone says.
"Oh, the new girl. Kevin won't shut up about the cool friend he made in class," one of them says to me. I smile a bit and nod.

Other people are starting to look in our direction because they noticed the boyz being quiet for once and a 13th person at the table. I chew my lip nervously.

"Ahem, so act normal," Kevin implies.
"That will be difficult for them," Chanhee snorts.

They all introduce themselves, and I manage to remember  them because they all have very distinct personalities.

"So Sunhee- I Mean Han!" Sunwoo says after Juyeon kicked his leg. "have any interests? Maybe a boyfriend? anyone you could set me up with?"

"N-no, not really, I just moved here so..." I fidget with the oversized sweatshirt sleeves. I glance at Chanhee, "What are you smiling at," I say quietly to him.

"Nothing, nothing," Chanhee says. I shake my head and turn back to the table. Everyone has moved on to their own conversations.

"So, Han, what did you get for the-" Changmin is interrupted by a girl and her two friends who taps his shoulder. Changmin turns around to face them, and everyone at our table looks too. Chanhee, Hyunjae, Eric, and Younghoon turn back to their phones because they've seen this go down already.

I immediately recognize the girl from the bus. The one much taller than me, and all of them who wear too much makeup. Jimin and her popular friends.

"Changmin, oppaaa," Jimin pouts, and Chanhee openly cringes And I hold my eye roll in place.

"I wanted to ask if maybe you wanted to see a movie today? After school, or we could ditch, whatever works for you," she smiles at him, if possible it seems she's wearing even more makeup than when she pushed me off the bus this morning.

Changmin turns back to the table, "Sorry, I have plans with my friends today."

"Aw, but we can be friends too! Or more, you know, if you want," Jimin says, and traces her finger on his shoulder. Ew. "You won't even look at me," she pouts, ew, and turns his head to her.

Changmin stutters, "um, I'm- sorry, I, uh,"

"Hey," I say loudly, trying to make my voice deeper. I can feel kevin, chanhee, and the rest of the boyz holding back their laughter.

Everyone looks towards me.
"He said no. No means no. And you're already over Junkyu?" I scoff. OML, nice going Sunhee, might as well rip off your disguise and stand on the table shouting for attention.

Jimin and her friends stare at me, and they glare immediately.

"Who are you?" She asks, and walks to the other side of the table, they lurk behind me.

"Uh nobody," I say, pretending to eat lunch.

Jimin rips off the sunglasses and throws them on the table. I hear Chanhee mutter to himself.

"Hah, Shin Sunhee, I should have known," the girl on Jimin's right says.

"Excuse me, Changmin, I'll talk to you later, Sorry." Jimin says to him, links arms with me and pulls me up.

"Wait! Where are you guys going?" Kevin asks.

"Oh, don't worry, we're just going to talk. You know, girl stuff, hehe" Jimin smiles at him and they wave goodbye, dragging me off.

Oh dang, we're in the endgame now
