It had been a week or so since the game we went to and I'm on my ways to the Hughes house to tutor Luke, We were working on math today.
I pulled into the drive way seeing another car in the spot that I normally park. I parked on the side of the road and turned the car off before heading towards the house. When I got there I knocked on the door before Luke answered it. I walked in taking my shoes off and we walked into the dinning room. "What are we working on today lukey?" "Math. I have a factoring quiz coming up next week" "alrighty. We can do that for sure" as soon as we sat down and started working a swarm of people came into the kitchen which was beside the dinning room. "Quinn seriously. We are trying to do work and you are being obnoxiously loud" Luke complained "wow Luke that's a big word for you to use. Is she helping you with your English too" Quinn said making his friends laugh.

I realized that Quinn was the guy I saw that the hockey game. I didn't think he would be that much of a dick especially to someone like Luke who is so nice. We went back to working on factoring while Quinn and his friends looked for food. "so you have to factor this by finding a number that adds to seven and multiples to 12" Luke nodded his head and finished the answer, moving on the the next question. "Luke ill be right back i'm just going to use the bathroom." I got up feeling all of the guys eyes on me while I walked through the kitchen to go to the bathroom making a sharp turn down the hall and into the bathroom. I could hear all the guys getting rowdy again and now Luke probably isn't working.

I walked out of the bathroom and checked my phone seeing that Ellen message me asking me to drop off Luke at his practice after studying which I agreed to do. as I messaged her back I hear someone mention my name. "Quinn, you seriously have known Sidney for that long and never been with her?" "she's not like that dumbass" Luke butt in trying to defend me. "yeah James she's not that type of girl. Sidney is down to earth not like all the fake girls you bang that just want to brag about smashing someone on the hockey team" Quinn defends. "she must be some girl then" "I know you guys are judging her by her body but she wasn't always like that. she hit the gym pretty hard and after all that training I wouldn't be surprised if she could take one of you guys down she is like pure muscle" Luke laughed. I was now full on eavesdropping. "lukey why do you know so much about her?" James asked "she's like a sister to me. The past four years Quinn and jack have been extremely busy or just plainly not here so Sid and I spent a lot of time together. mom would even take her to my tournaments when dad had to stay here with quinn and jack for hockey."

I stood there for a while and decided to go back and help Luke study again. "Luke finish up your questions  and then we will head out. I'm bring you to your practice but we will go get some food first. what do you want to eat?" "doesn't matter to me, maybe chipotle" " okay that works. ill go get your bag and put it in the car while you finish" he nodded in response and I went to the basement to get his hockey bag.

"need help" I looked up seeing Quinn standing in the door way of his room. "No not when you are an ass to your brother." I responded stunning him with my harsh words "are staying to watch Lukes practice or are you just dropping him off cause I'll sit with you for the second half of practice when I go to pick him up" "dropping him off and them going back to my dorm" he nodded and walked up stairs with me trailing behind him as I carried the heavy bag to the car. He opened the trunk for me. "Did come on you know I'm not like that to Luke" "no quinn I don't know you actually. And if anything you're just proving that your two faced and will be mean to your own brother just to get a laugh out of your 'bros'" "well then let's get to know each other. I'm quinn" he stuck out his hand so I can shake it. "I'll pass for right now I have somewhere to be" walking back into the house making sure Luke had everything. "Ready champ. Let's go muck a burrito bowl" I drove Luke to his practice and went to my dorm to see Mallory.

"Sid there is a basketball game tomorrow night we are going with Will and his friends from the hockey team " "but I have to study for my-" "no I don't care. Plus will said the hockey team has sparked some interest in you lately. I guess Luke's been talking to his brother and his friends" "it's not luke it's quinn he's being weird" "well he's supposed to come to the game so cheer up butter cup cause we are going too" I put a fake smile on and got ready for bed "Imagine you dating one of the hockey boys. You always go for the basketball guy I guess that's why that seems so weird" "yeah you are crazy. Me dating a hockey player... funny" we both laughed.
