i woke up to an empty bed. the loud noises from up stairs had woke me up this morning. after getting up and fixing my hair i made my way upstairs to find out where the noise was coming from. "for real jack. you are so annoying i'm just trying to make breakfast" i heard Quinn say to his younger brother. "well are you going to make me pancakes?" jack questioned Quinn. "no i'm not making pancakes Sid cant eat pancakes. i'm making omelettes now get out of the kitchen" Quinn was now yelling.

i continued to walk up the stairs while jack was now walking past them. "you better keep that boy on a leash he's getting snappy" jack said making me laugh. "sorry you lucked out on the pancakes" i said while ruffling jacks hair. once i made it to the kitchen i saw Quinn struggling to make breakfast so i started to help him. "you are not that good at cooking" i said while taking the spatula out of his hand. "what ever at least i tried" he kissed my cheek before walking away to put toast in the toaster for himself.

he sat there eating his eggs and toast as i say there starring at him. he wasnt doing anything special, just eating his breakfast but i was slowly falling harder and harder for him. "what do you have planned for today?" quinn asked snapping me out of my daze. " i have to study for my bio class at some point and i have to pick mallory and will up from the airport. do you have to do anything today?" i returned the question. "i have practice later and then some of the guys wanted to hang out." "well i can drive you to the rink since im going back to campus if you dont want to drive" i offered "yeah forsure thanks" "no problem. and thanks for breakfast by the way even though you needed alittle assitance" "yeah yeah whatever at least i tried" we stood up at the same time and brought our dishes to the sink before going down stairs to change so we could leave. i changed back into my dress from yesterday and grabbed my sunglasses from my purse putting them on top of my head to hold my hair back. quinn changed into a workout top with some lululemon shorts. he packed the back of my car with his stuff for practice and we were off to the rink. Rap music blasting through the speakers of my car as quinn got hyped for his practice.

quinns pov

she sat there hair blowing through the wind looking absolutely flawless. she turned to look at me and smiled. she was wearing sunglasses but i could still see her bright beautiful blue eyes. i grabbed her hand holding it as she continued to drive me to the rink. this is all i could ever ask for. a career in hockey with a loving family, a great group of friends, and a beautiful girlfriend. she might not be my girlfriend right this second but she will be one day, she will be soon.

we pulled into the parking lot and everyone else was just getting to practice like i was. sidney got out of the car and went to the trunk to help me get my stuff. i slung my hockey bag over my shoulder while she closed the trunk. "thank you for driving me" i told her as she awkwardly stood there. she looked behind me seeing all if the team looking at us but i didnt care as much as she did. " yeah of course. anytime" "ill talk to you after practice" "okay" she whispered as she turned around ready to leave. "Are you forgetting something? I asked her making her turn around towards me. she shook her head and smiled at me. i leaned forward pressing a soft kiss on her lips. "thanks again" "have fun" she said before turning around and going back to her car. she waved goodbye as she drove past me and out of the parking lot.

as soon as i got into the change room all the guys started to heckle me about sidney. "good one lover boy" josh said. "yeah shut up josh you are just mad that i got a girl before you did" "you finally asked her out" markus asked. "well we are unofficaly offical. we arent dating pursay but we arent talking to other people and we act like a couple. i just want the moment to be right when i ask her." james stood on top of the bench and cupped his mouth turning his hands into a cone. "attention! attention! i would like to report that quinn hughes has gone soft! i repeat, quinn hughes has gone soft!" everyone started laughing till coach walked in and told us we had two minutes to get out on the ice or else we are doing a half hour of suicides.

Practice was over and all the boys were going out tonight. Will was now back in town so he was coming to pick me up from practice and drive me home. When he showed up to the rink after the practice he missed I walked to the car and go in the back because mallory was sitting in the front with Will. "Hey Quinn" they both said "hey guys. How was your trip?" I asked. "Good. Found out mallory and her mom are a deadly couple. I don't know how her dad could handle both of them for that long" "you have no idea how happy he was that I wasn't staying home for school" mallory added making us all laugh. "How was your thanksgiving?" Mal asked while will drove to my house. "It was good. All the family came for dinner, Sidney joined us. all in all a good weekend" I said smiling as I thought about sid. "You really like her don't you?" Will asked me looking through the mirror back at me. "Yeah I do. And I want it to be perfect when I ask her to be mine" I admit. "She deserves it to be perfect. She's been through a lot and a lot of people have screwed her over. So don't play with her or I'll come for you hughes" mallory turned around and starred in my soul as she talked to me. "I won't play her. She's the only girl that I have ever felt this strong of a connection with and I'm not going anywhere. At least not without her." I told her honestly.
