When class was over Vanessa came to me and gave me a thumbs up and I rolled my eyes at her and she did the same. I smiled at that and she did too. My other friends exchanged glances at each other and came to me Jessica and Liz came over to me and whispered so only I could hear “Are you and Vanessa okay? You usually always talk and hang around, you guys joke and you sit next to each other. Like always.” asked Jessica. For some reason, I knew Vanessa was listening. “Yeah I mean it’s starting to get creepy. Like no one even if we tried could ever separate you two. What is going on?” Liz asked. I bit my lip. I saw Vanessa walking to our next class and walked with her for a few seconds to say quickly” my house at 5:00 pm.” And I walked away. To my chemistry class. Finally, the day was over. It seemed longer than usual. I walk home with no hurry at all. Thinking about life. Thinking about me, the girl who lost her parents in a fire. The rich girl. I stood there for a while and finally got the keys out of my pocket and opened the door to my house.
