Jaden's POV

When Jess left my room I felt terrible about what I said to her. She deserves so much better than a guy who told her 'not to waste his time.' Anger rides inside of me and I pick up some of the nearest things and throw them on the ground.

I sit on the edge of my bed with my face in my hands thinking about what a big loser I am. A few minutes pass and then I hear someone enter. I look over to see it's Bryce. "What's up man, you good?" He asks me sitting on the chair in front of me. "I suck man" I tell him, a sad chuckle leaves my lips. "What did you say to her?" He asks me. "Is she still here?" I ask him. "No, she went home. Griffin is dropping her." He tells me. "I fucked up dude" I tell him, putting my face back in my hands. I tell him everything that happened with Harry. "Dude she met him when she was with me. I was out with Harry today and we were grabbing McDonald's and we met her there. Nothing weird happened." He tells me. "Then why the fuck is he texting her?" I ask him in a loud voice. "Dude, we all know Harry is a big flirt but she didn't even look that interested in talking to him today when we met. He also asked her why she hasn't returned any of his text messages." He says and my eyes grow wide. There is a minute pause and when the words leave my lips. "I'm a dick" I say and Bryce chuckles.

"You can go to her apartment, you know that right?" He asks me, after a pause. "She doesn't want to see me" I tell him in an obvious tone. "So what? I think you owe her a BIG apology and sitting here like an ass won't do shit. You gotta work for it." He tells me. I think about it for a second. He is right. I waited 2 days to apologise to her the last time. If I don't act quick, I might loose her and I can't afford loosing her. I let out a smile. I stand up and pick up the box of chocolates and the teddy I brought for her that she left behind. "Can you get the keys to her apartment from Avani? I don't think she'll let me in" I say. "On it" he says and walk out of my room.

After a few minutes, Bryce comes inside with a key in his hands and rose in another. I look at him with a weird expression. "It's Kio's he got it for Olivia. I got it for you to save your ass." He rolls his eyes and keeps them on my bed. I get up and do the handshake thingy with him. I owe him man. If it wasn't for him, I would've just sleep in bed for another week or so. I pick up all the stuff and start walking upstairs and then to my car.

I stop at Taco Bell to get her something. Food always lightens the mood. I drive to her house and finally reach it in 15 mins as there was no traffic. I first try knocking a few times but I get no response. I grab the key from my pocket and unlock the door.

I go straight to her room's door and knock. I wait for a few seconds and the moment I'm about to walk in the door opens and there in a sleepy Jess standing in front of me. As beautiful as before, of course. She examines me and recalls everything for a few seconds while I look at her.

"Jaden?? What are you doing here?" She asks me moving a little away. "Jess-" she cuts me off. "I don't wanna talk to you Jaden. I get it, I'm wasting your time. I'm sorry." She says there is a hint of sarcasm in her voice but it mostly sounds like she's serious. "Jess no, I said some stuff I don't mean then. It's just- the idea of someone else with you drives me crazy and I just-I'm sorry" I say and she doesn't say anything for a few seconds. I look down at the floor in disappointment. When she doesn't say anything I set the food, chocolate, teddy and rose on the table and start to walk towards the door. The moment I'm about to open it she speaks. "I don't like flowers." She says. "Next time the food would be enough" I can tell in her voice that she's smiling. I turn around run to her and pull her into a hug and she hugs me back.

After a few seconds, when I pull away , my hand still on her waist and her's on my face. "Why do you give such good speeches?" She whispers. "You get me every time." She says and a tear rolls down her cheek. I take my hand and put them on her face. I use my thumbs to wipe the tears off her face. "You really don't like flowers?" I ask her to lighten the mood. She laughs and puchen me in the stomach jokingly. "No I don't. I don't see the point of it. They die in a few days." She says walking over to the table and grabbing the food and sitting on the table. I smile and walk over to her and stand between her legs.

Jess' POV

"I have one thing to say though." I says and he raises an eyebrow. "I'm gonna hang out with Harry if I want to. Let me re-phrase that I'm gonna hang out with whoever I want to."I say and he makes a face. "I know you have trust issues but you need to trust me Jaden. This is what we're doing her? Right? Figuring out if we're ok for one another? I want you to trust me. Of you can't I done think I can be with y-" he cuts me off be pecking my lips. "Ok" he says and my eyes grow wide. "Really?" I -ask. "I trust you." He says and grabs my hand.

Note- this chapter is bigger than usual. Also it's 4 am where I live so I didn't check for typos in this chapter. If it has any, bear with me. Updates are gonna be a little irregular as I have high school and a lot of hw. Please bear with me guys:)) I respect and thank everyone of you for all your support.
