Chapter 1

The rain came with a confident gush of wind as it blew against the trees, and took some silly souls hat with it. The day itself was dark and gloomy which in hindsight made Hogwarts look absolutely terrifying, though considering the news that just broke out was fairly accurate. As if the discussions of war wasn't bad enough, now this. Rain pounded against the solid castle roof, echoing throughout the stone hallways, the wind howled and whistles as it burst through the small gabs near the windows and doors.

Minerva sat quietly in her classroom, she'd just heard the news That Bellatrix Lestrange had gone astray. She'd left her so called master and took over half of his followers with her. She always was unpredictable, even all those years ago you could never tell what went on in that brilliant mind of hers. Minerva sighs, well at least Voldemort would be distracted for a little while. Of course there's no telling what Bellatrix had in mind, if she decides to take over the wizarding world they were all doomed, because now she was free to make her own decisions.

Albus cautiously opened the door to Minerva's classroom, Severus in tow. The ancient man swallows as the younger man closes the door behind him.
"Minerva dear..." Albus said, slowly inching towards her, taking small steps at a time, knowing one wrong move could set her off.
"What." She said turning in their direction,
Albus winced slightly as he noticed the paper and instantly wanted to retreat. Minerva was always the calm reliable person, the more rational out of their little trio but Bellatrix was a touchy subject. Bellatrix brought out all the emotions in Minerva, that no one knew she was capable of. And a crying Minerva was a worrisome thing.

"I see you've heard about her..."
"Bellatrix, you can say her Name Albus." Minerva said far too calmly for his liking.
"How do you feel?"
Severus still remained silent behind him, he was there for moral support but opted to remain silent.
"What is this? An interrogation?"
"No, no not at all, just thought we'd check in."
"Well you can both check back out, I'm busy."
The two men did not need to be told twice.
Bad mood Minerva was quite scary.

"Albus this is ridiculous!" Minerva frowns, folding her arms.
"Oh come on my dear, I think this is just what we all need." Albus smiles, reaching for one of his sweets.
"A muggle halloween party?" Severus said, unimpressed.
"Yes, exciting isn't it?" The man said, his eyesight twinkling with excitement.
"I couldn't think of anything more repulsive." Snape said.
"What about Delores?" Minerva quirks her brow.
"Besides Delores." Snape adds, Albus only smiles.
"As your boss, and friend I insist you both come, it'll be fun and it'll take your minds off of...well you know." He grins.

"Albus, why did I let you talk me into this." Minerva said as she descends the stairs, she wore a white silk dress that reached the floor with a split up the side revealing her long smooth legs. Her hair was left lose, flowing down her back. She had large white feathery wings on her back, Albus had to admit, his friend was elegantly attractive.
Severus did a double take as he caught glimpse of Minerva walking towards him.
"I wouldn't describe you as an angel." He comments,
"Well at least I put effort into my costume, you look no different to your everyday brooding bat like self." Minerva smiles ever so sweetly at the scowling man.
"I'm Dracula." He mumbles.
Albus came and stood beside Minerva, and Severus instantly hated the man.
Minerva did her best to hide her smile at Severus's reaction.
Albus Dumbledore saw it fit to dress up as Snape.
"We could be twins." The man did his best to speak as Severus does, earning a chuckle from Minerva.
"I do not sound like that." Snape snapped
"I do not sound like that." Albus mimicked, even down to the brooding glare.
"Come on you pair, before we're late."
