Stiles laid on the hospital chairs, asleep while speaking to himself. "Ohh - Just like that. No, no, you first. Me first?"

Mr. Martin stepped out of the room and noticed Stiles. "He's been here all night?"

"He's been here all weekend," Melissa replied.

"You're dirty," Stiles said.

Kya laughed. "Oh, Stiles, your sleep talking is amazing."

"Excuse me," Melissa said.

"Paging Dr. Stateman. Dr. Stateman, please."

Stiles jolted awake and tried to get a Reese's from the vending machine.

"Seriously?" Stiles asked. "Come - Just - Gah! It's not going to work. Whoa!" The vending machine fell to the ground.

Kya walked up, clapping mockingly. "Great job, Stiles."

He shot her a look and she smiled sweetly.

Lydia let out a loud scream. Scott heard from miles away.

Stiles and Kya ran to Lydia's room. "Lydia? Lydia!"

"What the hell was that?" Melissa wondered.

"Lydia?" Stiles and Kya called again.

Stiles and Kya looked out the open window, showing the nearly full moon.

Sheriff Stilinski, who was called in, said, "Naked? As in nude?"

"I'm pretty sure they mean the same thing, but, yes, as far as we know, she left here clothing-optional."

"All right, you checked the whole hospital, right?"

"Nothing suspicious?"

"Nothing. She just took off."

"All right, let's get an APB out on a 16-year-old redhead. Any other descriptors?"

"5'3, green eyes, fair-skinned, and her hair is actually strawberry blonde," Stiles said.

"Is that right?"

"Yeah."

"Uh - come here." He grabbed his son's ear. "What the hell are you still doing here?"

"Um, providing moral support?"

"Uh-huh. How 'bout you provide your ass back home, where you should be."

"Okay, I can do that too."

"Yeah."

"Mm."

"We're gonna find her, so don't worry."

Stiles grabbed the hospital gown and held it up to Scott who said, "This is the one she was just wearing? I'm not gonna let anymore hurt her. Not again."

"All right, just shove the thing in your face and let's find her," Stiles retorted and someone else appeared. "Wow!"

"What are you doing here? Someone's gonna see us."

"I don't care - she's my best friend, and we need to find her before they do," Allison replied.

"I can find her before the cops can."

"How about before my father does?"

"He knows?"

"Yeah. I just saw him and three other guys leave my house in two SUVs."

"Search party."

"It's more like a hunting party."

"Get in."

"All right, but if she's turning, would they actually kill them?" Stiles asked.

"I don't know. They won't tell me anything. Okay, all they say is, "We'll talk after Kate's funeral, when the others get here.""

"What others?"

"I don't know, they won't tell me that yet."

"Okay, your family's got some serious communication issues to work on. Scott, are we going the right way?"

"Take the next right!" Scott yelled.

They pulled up to Derek's and Stiles frowned. "She came here? You're sure?"

"Yeah, this is where the scent leads."

"All right, but has Lydia ever been here?"

"Not with me," Allison replied. "Maybe she came here on instinct, like she was looking for Derek."

"You mean - looking for an Alpha," Scott corrected.

"Werewolves need a pack, right?"

"Not all of them."

"But would they have been drawn to an Alpha? Is it an instinct to be part of a pack?"

"Yeah, we're - we're strong in packs."

"Like strength in numbers."

"No, like - like literally stronger, faster, better in every way."

"That the same for an Alpha?"

"That'll make Derek stronger too."

Something caught Stiles' eye. "Whoa, hey, look at this. You see this? I think it's a tripwire."

"Stiles-" Scott called.

"Yeah, buddy," Stiles said, looking up to see Scott hanging upside down. "Oh."

"Next time you see a tripwire - don't trip it."

"Yeah, noted."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Someone's coming. Hide. Go!"

Stiles and Allison ran to find a place to hide. Kya joined them.

"Scott?" Chris called.

"Mr. Argent," Scott greeted.

"How are you doing?"

"Good. You know, just hangin' out. Is this one of yours? It's, uh, good. Nice design. Very constricting."

"What are you doing out here, Scott?"

"Looking for my friend."

"Ah, that's right. Lydia's in your group now, isn't she? Part of the clique? Is that the word you use? Or is there another way to put it? Part of your pack?"

"Actually, clique sounds about right to me."

"I hope so. 'Cause I know she's a friend of Allison's, and one special circumstance, such as yourself - one, I can handle. Not two."

"No."

"Scott, do you know what a hemicorporectomy is?"

"I have a feeling I don't want to."

"A medical term for amputating somebody at the waist. Cutting them in half. Takes a tremendous amount of strength to cut through tissue and bone like that. Let's hope a demonstration never becomes necessary." Chris left.

"You okay?" Allison asked, stepping from her hiding place.

"It's just another life-threatening conversation with your dad," Scott replied.

"Stiles, help me with this."

"Thanks. But I think I got it."

"Yeah," Stiles said.

"Uhh!" Allison groaned.

"Comin'?" Scott questioned.

At school, Scott asked, "She ate the liver?"

"No, I didn't say she ate it," Stiles replied. "I just said it was missing. And know what? Even if one of them did, so what? It's the most nutritious part of the body."

"I never ate anyone's liver."

"Yeah, right, 'cause when it comes to werewolves, you're a real model of self-control. Actually, wait - hold on. You're the test case for this, so we should be going over what happened to you."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean like what was going through your mind when you were turning, you know? What were you drawn to?"

"Allison."

"Okay, nothing else? Seriously?"

"Nothing else mattered. But, no, that's good, though, right? 'Cause the night that Lydia and was bit, she was with you."

"Yeah, but she was looking for Jackson. Kya went to find her."

INT. LOCKER ROOM

"Let's go!" Coach called. "I have an announcement. Gather round. Quicker! Danny, put a shirt on. Stilinski, that means you! Let's go, gather round. Listen up. Police are asking for help on a missing child advisory. It's a sick girl, roaming around, totally naked. Now, it's supposed to get below 40 degrees tonight. I don't know about you, but the last time it was that cold and I was running around naked - I lost a testicle to exposure. Now, I don't want the same thing happening to some innocent girl. So police are organizing search parties for tonight. Sign up, find the missing girl you get an automatic "A" in my classes."

"If Lydia wants to take a naked hike through the woods, why should I care?" Jackson asked.

"Because we have a pretty good idea that she might be - you know, turning," Scott replied.

"Turning?"

"Yeah. Turning."

"Into-"

"A unicorn," Stiles retorted. "What do you think, dumbass?"

"Well, I think that if Lydia's turning, she's not the one that's gonna need help."

"What do you mean?" Scott wondered.

"Oh, God, you've got it all backwards. When I was with Lydia, you should have seen the scratch marks she left on me. What do you think she's gonna do with a set of real claws? Heh."

INT. HARRIS' ROOM

"All right, it's causing me severe mental anguish to say this, but he's right," Stiles said.

"I know," Scott agreed.

"What if the next body part they steal is from someone who's still alive?"

Harris spoke. "This is a pop quiz, Mr. Stilinski. If I hear your voice again, I may be tempted to give you detention for the rest of your high school career."

"Can you do that?"

"Well, there it is again. Your voice. Triggering the only impulse I've ever had to strike a student repeatedly and violently. I'll see you at 3:00 for detention. You too, Mr. McCall?"

"No, sir," Scott replied.

LATER

"Sit," Harris ordered as Stiles tried to leave.

"What, but it's been an hour," Stiles protested.

"My detention's an hour-and-a-half."

"You can't do that."

"Oh - but I can. You see, Stiles, since your father was so judicious in his dealings with me, I've decided to make you my personal project for the rest of the semester. You are going to benefit from all the best that strict discipline has to offer. Now - sit down, before I decide to keep you here all night."

Kya popped in next to Stiles and smiled. "I'll keep you company. Hey, should I bother Harris?"

"No," Stiles replied quietly. "Thanks for keeping me company in this torture."

"Doing what I do best."

"Chaos is what you do best."

"Very true."

EXT. CEMETERY

Stiles and Kya joined Scott and the former asked, "Who the hell is that?"

"He's definitely an Argent," Scott replied.

"Considering I haven't see you since you were three, I don't suppose I can assume you'd call me grandpa. So if it's comfortable, call me Gerard for the time being. But I'd prefer grandpa."

"Hey, you know, maybe they're just here for the funeral," Stiles guessed. "I mean - what if they're the non-hunting side of the family? There could be non-hunting Argents. It's possible, right?"

"I know what they are," Scott said. "They're reinforcements."

"Ah. The two of you. Unbelievable. Pick up my tie," Sheriff Stilinski ordered.

"Got it," Stiles replied. "Sorry. I know, I'm supposed to ask."

They were put into back of the squad car and an officer said, "4-1-5 Adam."

"I didn't copy that," Sheriff Stilinski said. "Did you say 4-1-5 Adam?"

"Disturbance in a car," Stiles and Kya clarified.

"They were taking a heart attack victim - D.O.A. But on the way to the hospital, something hit 'em."

"What - hit the ambulance?" the sheriff asked.

"Copy that. I'm standing in front of it right now. Something got in the back. There's blood everywhere. And I mean everywhere."

"All right, unit 4, what's your 20?"

"Route 5 and post. I swear, I've never seen anything like this."

"All right, take it easy. I'm on my way. Now, as for you two-" Stiles, Kya and Scott were no longer in the back of the squad car.

"What the hell is Lydia doing?" Stiles wondered.

"I don't know," Scott replied.

"What kept you from doing that, was it Allison?"

"I hope so."

"Do you need to get closer?"

"No, I got it."

Kya said quietly, "Find her, Scott. Please."

Stiles glanced to Kya, then said, "Just - Kya needs you to find her. All right? Please, just - just find her."

"I will."

Scott ran off towards the forest and found a figure. "You're not Lydia. Wait!"

Stiles and Kya ran to the scene and saw the strawberry blonde. "Just - Lydia? Lydia? Lydia!"

Lydia, who was naked, her hair also was a rat's nest, asked, "Well - is anyone gonna get us a coat?"

Stiles fumbled for his dad's coat and the sheriff said, "Jesus. Yep, here you go." He handed Lydia his coat.

Kya walked up to Lydia and said, "I know you can't see me, but you're okay now, Lydia."
