Somi's Wedding Day

Me and Mi Ho-unni arrived at the venue with our kits, makeup, hair, and Mi Ho-unni's for mending and/or altering dresses. We looked around the venue and were awestruck.

"This is beautiful. How did she afford this?" Mi Ho-unni asked.

"She told me that both her father and her groom's father chipped in quite a bit. Apparently, the groom is very well off," I explained.

"Obviously," Mi Ho-unni retorted, still starstruck by the decorations. We were led to Somi-unni's dressing room. She greeted the both of us with a bear hug.

"I'm so glad you're here!" she exclaimed in an excited voice.

I smiled, "Thank you. Now, let's get started on you, shall we?"

She nodded and sat down in the chair. Thankfully, her hair was already free of tangles, so I could just focus on her hairstyle. I asked, "So, what is your soon-to-be husband like?"

"Oh, Hyun-ki's a sweetheart. We actually met during my first year as a coordinator," she explained.

I was confused, "When was this?"

"Around 2012. He noticed how much I cared for the boys and he asked me out on a date. At first, I said no since he only just met me, but he was very persistent. He sent me small gifts like chocolates, flowers, even small jewelry like earrings. When I didn't respond to that, he sent me gift cards to all my favorite shops. By then, I was both annoyed and impressed with his tenacity, so I finally said yes. That took me five months. We had dinner together and the rest is history," she explained.

I asked, "How does he feel about you working with idols?"

She chuckled, "He did have reservations at first, but once he learned how old the boys were, he was fine with it."

I was finished with her hair, then I started on her makeup. I said, "I have learned that men can be stubborn when they're after something."

"Is Yoongi the same way?" Somi-unni asked.

I laughed, "Yeah, in his own way. Of course, he's more of the silent stubborn person."

Mi Ho-unni chuckled, "Why am I not surprised?"

Somi-unni smiled at me, "I was pleased when I noticed you two got together. Neither of you couldn't ask for better partners."

I looked at her, "You think so?"

"Yes. There's no one better who can handle his sleepiness and his sense of humor," she replied.

"Well, Namjoon, Hobi, and Jin are doing a good job of handling him when I'm not there. All done!" I said.

Mi Ho-unni smiled, "Now, where's your dress? I need to help you in it."

Somi-unni stood up and showed us the dress.

We were both in awe. Me and Mi Ho-unni helped her in the dress. I said, "You've chosen well."

She smiled, then I got changed into my dress.

(A/N: This hairstyle is what Eunji and the rest of the bridesmaids have.)

Mi Ho-unni said, "Now, for everyone else."

Somi-unni smiled at us both and the rest of the bridesmaids, "Thank you so much for everything. I know I wasn't the easiest bride to deal with."

I shook my head, "Don't worry about it."

Then we heard a knock on the door. It was Somi-unni's appa, "Am I allowed inside?"

"Yes, sir, you are," I said, opening the door. I'll admit, for a man around 50, he is quite handsome. Even Mi Ho-unni thought so.

(A/N: The actor's name is Lee Han-Wi.)

"I see where Somi-unni gets half of her genes from. He's fine!" she whispered.

After a short conversation, Somi-unni whispered to us jokingly, "Paws off my appa. He's still married to Eomma."

"Oh, we wouldn't dream of breaking up a happy home," I replied.

"Same here," Mi Ho-unni retorted.

We all got in position. I was to walk in with the best man, the groom's best friend, Lee Man-Shik. He said, "Friend of the bride?"

I nodded, "And co-worker."

He smiled, then we had to walk down the aisle. After that, Somi-unni walked down the aisle with her appa. While the ceremony was proceeding, it made me think of me and Yoongi. Will this be us one day? Then the ceremony ended and we all walked out. We moved to the reception area. I was speaking with Mi Ho-unni when Man-Shik came over, "Evening, ladies."

We nodded, then he said, "You know, I've never seen Hyun-ki this happy until he met Somi. Before he met her, he was just another neurosurgeon who never smiled. When Somi came into his life, he seemed to look forward to every day, even though both of their jobs kept them busy."

I smiled, "Yes. Somi-unni would bring him up whenever we aren't running around," I told him.

The rest of the wedding went well. The food was great, I danced with all the groomsmen, Mi Ho-unni caught the bouquet. When we got back, we removed our makeup, showered and went to sleep.

And that's the chapter! Hello, everyone! I pray you're doing well and I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
