It was around 12 pm and I had managed to clean Asahi and Kenji's room as both of them weren't home. Now it was time for Minato's room. I went to my room to wash my face first because I had turned red due to the heat.

When I returned from the washroom, my phone started to ring. I went and saw Haruto's call. My eyes beamed with joy as I immediately picked the video call up.

Haruto, wearing a black shirt, was sitting on his bed. "Haruto!!" I said in excitement. He chuckled "Hey love, how are youu?" Haruto asked. I smiled "I'm finee, how are you?? How is Hana?? How is work!?"

Haruto chuckled again "Hana is studying right now, I was just getting ready to go to the bed but decided to look at my sweetheart first" my cheeks blushed at his words. I smiled softly "I miss you Haruto.." I said. He looked at me with a small pout "I do too y/n...I promise I'll be back soon and then we'll enjoy alot together"

I nodded and sat on my bed "Soo what you doing?" I asked him as he looked towards his right, picking something up "Wait a second, I've got something for you!" He said. My eyes widened "Oh!! What is it!? I am excited!"

He laughed and asked me to close my eyes "Shut your eyes, open them only when I ask you to!" I nodded and immediately closed my eyes. There was no response for a few seconds and I thought he must be taking out the thing he had to show me.

I asked her to close her eyes. I was so excited to show her what I had got for her. She looked so pretty even with her eyes closed. Breathtaking..

But then suddenly my eyes fell on her neck and my heart shattered into pieces. I didn't know what to do now, I didn't know what to say. Is this a rash..? Or a mosquito bite..? I tried to console myself and lie to myself, trying to make my mind believe otherwise. But the truth was infront of my eyes. Hickey. Not one, not two, more than a three hickeys..

I gulped and gathered the courage to speak. "Hey y/n.." I tried to keep my smile but found myself failing miserably.
Why me..why did she do this to me..? And I thought she would wait for me...it's just been a few days and..and this has happened.

Y/n opened her eyes with a bright smile "Yes! Where is it!? What were you gonna show me??" She noticed his smile was gone. He just picked the earings and showed her. Y/n smiled brightly "oh my god! These are so pretty!!" Haruto nodded back, he was trying to hide his tears "Yeah...I just passed a.. jewellery shop...got these for you"

She looked at him with awe "You didn't have to Haruto..That's so sweet...what can I do for youu?" She asked. Haruto just scoffed "You just had to do one thing y/n..." Haruto said in an almost inaudible voice. She tilted her head "What? Why do you look so upset..? You looked fine earlier.."

"It's nothing..just tired because of the work and stuff, wanted to see you, now I'm good" he tried to hide his pain as much as he could but he was so hurt that it was getting so hard for him to not show any emotions.

She just frowned "Did I upset you Haruto..?" Haruto just shook his head softly "It's nothing...you know you are a girl y/n and it's..just...apply ice to your neck...these will go away quicker...don't go out like this...it's not gonna give a good impression to the people.."

Y/n's eyes widened. She realised what has happened. "No!! Haruto it's not what you think!!" Haruto just raised his hand up with a smile that clearly showed he was hurt "I'm okay...don't worry...I need some sleep right now, goodnight.."

Y/n shook her head "No! No! Haruto not like this! Don't go like this! Let me explain this to you!" Haruto closed his eyes for a second and then looked at her "Were you forced..?" He asked. She frowned and shook her head "No! I wasn't but this isn't what you-"

"Then there is no reason for you to explain anything...I need sleep" he said as a tear ran down his cheek. He ended the call and plopped down on his bed. Tears began falling from his eyes nonstop. He held the earrings in his hands and looked at them for a few seconds "She is...having fun without me...and then there is me, whatever I see, whatever I do...wherever I go...I see her, I want her and I need her... Why did I have to fall for her out of all the girls in this world..?"

He said as he held the earrings and wiped his face. Haruto stood up and walked towards Hana's room. He opened it to see Hana studying, totally focused.

"Hana, here keep this" He said as he kept the earrings on her study table. She looked at the earrings and then him "Eh!? When did you become so generous to buy me stuff??" She said as held the earrings and her eyes widened "These look so gorgeous! No way you thought about me, went into the shop and got these for me! Oh my!"

Haruto sighed "Weren't for you but these are too expensive to be thrown or tossed into trash" Hana looked at him with confusion "What do you mean brother??"

Haruto looked at her and sat on her bed, tears streaming down his eyes and rolling down his face as he explained to her everything that had happened. Hana listened to everything keenly, her blood boiling but she loved both him and y/n so much that she didn't know whose side to take.

Hana placed her hand on his shoulder and spoke "Brother...she didn't even once say she likes you too...it was you who gave her hints, said you like her and kissed her...did she even kiss you back? No. You say she was too stunned to kiss you back but what if she simply didn't want to kiss u back. Maybe she just controlled her anger because we were leaving the country and she didn't want us to leave with an argument.. so don't hold any grudges brother...let her be, you'll find better.."

Haruto didn't say anything, he seemed to think. He was just staring at the floor, no expressions on his face other than hurt. He looked at Hana with sorrow on his face and spoke in a very low voice "My heart aches...it aches so bad..." He said and left the room. Hana clenched her fists.

You weren't supposed to make my brother cry y/n, you had no right to! All the years he took care of you, treated you like a literal princess and that's what you do to him.

I don't care if you didn't love him or like him, you could've atleast hidden your neck so he doesn't get hurt! Maybe should've just respected his feelings and not hurt him to the extent that he cried!

He has always had fights, arguments with many guys who were double his size, triple his strength, even when he got injured as hell, I never saw a tear drop from his eyes.

But today?? You made him cry y/n...you...he has never said anything like "my heart aches" but you made him say it. You could've atleast respected his feelings and not rubbed salt over his wounds...

I sighed as all these thoughts ran through my mind. The only reason I haven't called her yet and told her all this is because she is my bestfriend and his bestfriend too. I love her. But this is just unacceptable. Poor Haruto.. y/n, karma is real bestie..stay safe..

I buried my face in my pillow as I couldn't stop crying. Why did Haruto have to see that!? He wasn't supposed to...He didn't deserve to be so hurt..

He has always done good for me but I ended up hurting him so bad. Oh I should've atleast hidden these and respected his feelings but my mind didn't even go there..

I tried calling him so many times but his phone is switched off. How do I tell him that I tried to resist against these bites? How do I tell him both the times my consent wasn't even asked. They did what they had to with me, without even thinking about me.

I didn't know what to do, who to share this with. Hana? Should I call her? No..she'll just be worried, I won't.. I gulped and wiped my tears. "No worries! I will fix this Haruto, I promise you.." I said as I stood up, washed my face again and when I opened the door to leave my room-

Minato stood there, with no expressions on his face at all.
