SYBOLISM TO BANGTAN MV

There is alot of symbolism in this music video.

First off, with the characters that the boys represent.

Jin: Emil. Jin is emil as he is the main character.

V: Demian. He follows Jin around, tries to guide him. Note his relationship with Jhope or Eva, his mom.

Jhope: Eva. He is pictured in the garden (garden of Eve) a lot. Eva goes on to defeat Demain's darkness (the arrow) and replace V/Demain as Emil's mentor (hence V's wings being ripped off and the statue or Eva having the wings).

Rap Monster: Alfons Beck. This one I'm not sure about, but it would explain the drugs and the absinthe (a european alcohol that causes hallucinations). Seems to be a generally bad influence

Suga: Pistorius (the piano player and teacher who teachers Emil how to interpret his thoughts). Note that he is with Jimin a lot

Jimin: A young Emil. Note that he is confused and struggling with a blindfold on. He is malcontent with a world he cannot understand. Suga aka Pistorius reveals the world around him as a mentor. Note that Jimin is not happy to see the world around him, and then Suga is put into darkness.

Jungkook: Beatrice. While not actually Jin's lover, Kookie represents Emil's gf. He paints pictures of the world around him, which helps Emil make sense of everything. Beatrice is supposed to have male and female features, and represent both the light and dark coming together.

The setting of this music video is also important. This seems to be in an art museum, but I believe it's in a house. More specifically, the grand old house Emil grew up in. It's the ultimate place of light.

The apples at the table represent the crime that Emil committed that caused him to jump over to the dark side. Think the fall of Man from the Garden of Eden.

The kiss on the statue represents Emil accepting both the dark and light side of him.
