The Necklace

Cassandra said "We are going in circles thinking about who the person is...." Rapunzel said "Maybe we need help?" Eugene said "Ok, so who is someone smart, we can trust, and who could help us." They all think before Rapunzel said "Varian?" Cassandra said "Sorry Raps, but I don't trust him." Rapunzel said "But-" Eugene cuts her off and said "I have to agree with Cassandra." Rapunzel crosses her arms and ask "Who is he going too tell?" Cassandra said "He could tell anyone, or do something to try and kill us, again!" Rapunzel said "We have to give him a chance, and we don't have to tell him about the dream. We can just ask him about the necklace." Eugene said "I like Raps idea!" Cassandra sighs before saying "Fine."
Varian finishes reading the letter, he rereads the letter. He drops the letter to the floor before just staring at it emotionless. He doesn't know how long he stares at it as a knock is heard on his door. He jumps and somehow falls off his head. He said "Come in." Before he gets up and sees Rapunzel, Eugene, and Cassandra.
Varian jokes "What do I owe the pleasure for having the princess in my room." He bows down, before standing up straight and then saying "Actually why are y'all here?" Rapunzel ask "Well, Varian-" She was stopped by Cassandra asking "What is that letter." Varian eyes the letter before saying "Rudiger got that letter in my lab.... It was the letter that he wrote before he got stuck in the amber crystal...."
Their was a moment of silence before Varian said "Well what did y'all want from me?" Eugene said "Well we were wondering if you know someone with a necklace with a little piece of the dark crystal thingy." Varian said "Ummm......" He gets nervous, and Cassandra ask "What?" Varian laughs nervously and said "Well.... Rudiger brought a necklace, basically what you described too me...." He grabs the necklace from the drawer and shows them. Rapunzel gasped before Cassandra grabs it from his hand. Eugene ask "Is that the crystal?" Rapunzel nods and said "Yea." Cassandra eyes Varian and ask "Where did you get it?" Varian turns to Rudiger and said "Rudiger found it for me." Cassandra ask "Can he shows us where he found it?" Varian said "Most likely."
Cassandra, Eugene, Varian, and Rapunzel were following Rudiger through a forest. Eugene whines "Are we almost their yet?" Cassandra almost yells "CAN YOU BE QUIET!! YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING THAT FOR THE LAST THIRTY MINUTES!!!" Eugene said "No I haven't!" Eugene and Cassandra start to fight and Rapunzel walks up to Varian. Varian ask "When do they stop fighting?" Rapunzel sighs and said "When sometime important happens." Varian sighs and said "So when Rudiger finds the place?" Rapunzel said "Yup." Varian takes out the necklace from his pocket, and his thumb moves on top if the rock.
They soon get to the place and Rapunzel said "We are here." Cassandra and Eugene FINALLY stops fighting. Cassandra ask "So this is the place." Rudiger nods before climbing up a tree to grab an apple and eats it. Varian said "Someone must of dropped it or had a camp here and he stole it from the person." They all nod and Rapunzel said "Split up?" Cassandra said "Ok." Cassandra and her owl go North, Eugene goes West, Rapunzel and Pascal go South while Varian and Rudiger go East.
Rapunzel was walking, the dark trees look familiar and she realizes she is thirsty. The forest gives her chills before she sees a running river, she bends down before drinking some of its cold water. Pascal looks around and she hears whispers....... She gets up and follows the whispers, it gets louder and louder till she gets to a cave, she walks into the cave, seeing paintings, old writing, and the dark rocks......
She walks up to one up the rocks before touching it and freezing. She blinks and opens her eyes to see herself in the tower. She sees Eugene laying on the ground, just being stabbed by Mother Gothel. Mother Gothel was holding chains that were tied around Rapunzel. Mother Gothel said "Rapunzel really! Enough already! Stop fighting me!" Rapunzel said remembering what she told Mother Gothel last time "No! I won't stop. For every minute of the rest of my life I will fight! I will never stop trying to get away from you! But, if you let me save him, I will go with you." Eugene said "No, Rapunzel, no." Mother Gothel thinks about it and said "No." Rapunzel eyes widen and said "But.... But!" Mother Gothel said "He will just keep trying to find you, and that won't be so good for the two of us." Rapunzel said "No! Please! Let me heal him!" Tears run down Rapunzel's face before she closes her eyes and she opens them to see her sitting on the ground, like the position she was in the nightmare.
She looks around, seeing where Eugene was, she calls out his name and gets up looking for him in a panicked. After a minute or so she looks for Mother Gothel before remembering that was in the past, and Eugene was alive while Mother Gothel died. Rapunzel thinks 'What was that? Was it a nightmare?' She looks at the rocks, not knowing what happened. She looks around and then realizes this place looked just like her dream. Her eyes widen and said "If this is the place than someone that has that necklace is here...... But the only person who had that necklace was Varian....."
She walks around before seeing Varian, she calls out his name but he doesn't move. She walks up to him, and said "Varian." He moves to the wall before hitting it, and tears running down his face. She looks at his face to only see his eyes clouded, seeing something that wasn't their. She wonders 'What is he doing?' She walks to where he was and nudges him, whispering "Varian?"
His eyes suddenly focuses and he looks at her. His eyes widen before he said "Why?! Why did you kill my father!?" He takes a step towards Rapunzel and she backs away and she said "Varian, remember we are a team." He narrows his eyes before saying "Why would I be in a team with you? You'll pay for what you did to my father!" Rapunzel seems confused and Varian grabs a knife from his pocket. He starts to walk closer to Rapunzel and she starts to quickly walk backwards, she said in a panicked "Varian, please remember! I'm sorry for what happened to your father." He stops walking, and he drops the knife. He seems confused, he starts to look around before looking at Rapunzel and he said "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me..... I walked into this cave, following whispers. I touched one of the dark crystals.....and I had this vision, I think and that you put my father in the crystal......and then....." He stops, thinking. Rapunzel takes a breath in before saying "At least no one got hurt." She looks at the knife on the ground and ask "Why do you have a knife?" He stares at it and he said "I don't. I don't know how it got their....... I had one in their in my nightmare but I never put one in my pocket in this reality." Rapunzel said "I had a nightmare to, and when I touched the dark crystals I got the nightmare." Varian eyes widen and he said "The rocks must be cursed, or someone messed with our minds." They both hear a chuckle before thy turn around to see a man in the shadows with the same necklace that Varian had but around his neck.
