In Trouble

Rapunzel and Cassandra were in the throne room with the King. King Frederic said "So you help Varian, a prisoner, escape?" Rapunzel looks up at her father and said "Yes I did." The King ask "And then where is he." Rapunzel said "I'm not going to tell you." Cassandra mumbles under her breath so that no one hears "I'm going to a convent, I'm going to a convent." King Frederic sighs and said "Then as King I order you or Cassandra too go out of Corona or be near each other." Rapunzel and Cassandra gasp and Rapunzel ask "Then how is Cassandra going to be my maid-in-waiting?" The King said "She won't."
It has been a week since Rapunzel and Cassandra were 'punished'. Rapunzel got a new hand maid, 'who was a total grump' in Rapunzel's mind while Cassandra could work for a guards but go no where near Rapunzel. Eugene came in with a cupcake and said "Rapunzel after this whole Varian thing blows over the King will let you and Cassandra go out, and y'all can talk again." Rapunzel said "But that could take years, Eugene! It already have been two years since I came back! And he hasn't cooled down about that yet." Eugene rolls his eyes and said "But Blondie, you were taken away from him for 18 years! Varian has been evil, like less than a year." Rapunzel sighs and looks at Pascal, Eugene then brightens up and said "And Cassandra and I aren't fighting, it's good not too be able to see her." Rapunzel rolls her eyes and said "Eugene-" Rapunzel's new maid came in, Eugene said "Hi Sammy." Sammy rolls her brown eyes and snaps "Maybe you should go!" Eugene said "Not what, Cassandra might actually be better than this one." Rapunzel giggles at Eugene and then Sammy snaps at Rapunzel "Why do you have a cupcake!? That could fatten you up! And also it's another thing for me to clean!" Pascal and Rapunzel looks at each other, she also had this annoying voice! Sammy looks at Pascal and screams "A FROG!" She grabs a broom, Rapunzel said "Wait! Pascal is my friend!" Sammy puts down the broom and pushes her really crazy dark auburn hair out face. Eugene whispers to Rapunzel "I bet she has a whole forest living in that hair." Rapunzel said "Eugene!" He laughs and ask "What?!" Rapunzel couldn't help but crack a smile. Eugene smiles and said "And that's the Rapunzel we all know and love." Rapunzel laughs and Sammy said "Well can y'all do that love life thing somewhere else? I don't have time to look at that!" She pushes past Rapunzel and Eugene and Eugene said "Have fun with her!" Rapunzel rolls her eyes and looks at Pascal as Eugene leaves, Rapunzel said "Traitor." Rapunzel smiles before sitting on her bed drawing.
It was midnight and Rapunzel wraps her hair around something before lowering Pascal and her from her room. As she touches the ground she releases her hair and quickly puts it back into a braid again. After they sneak out of Corona Rapunzel quickly explains what she is doing to Pascal, "Ok Pascal, I'm just going to see how Varian is doing. Then I'm going to return before ANYONE notices I'm gone." Pascal rolls his eyes and Rapunzel said "Ok, well other times were different, this time I'm not doing anything dangerous." Pascal nods through not convinced.
Rapunzel walks to Old Corona before knocking onto Varian's house door. No one answers, she said loudly, not yet yelling "Varian, it's me, Rapunzel." She starts to worry, she hears no one in the house. She grabs the doorknob and she sees its unlocked, weird. She walks inside to see no one in the main room, she calls Varian's and Quirin's name. No one answers, she looks through all the rooms to see no one. She starts to worry but starts go think 'They must be outside.' She frowns, something seemed off through, she walks to Varian's laboratory. It seemed all messed up, she notice that the house was also messed up, like it was turned upside down. She starts to worry and walks outside. Rapunzel looks at Pascal, she said "They must of been... cleaning?" Pascal rolls his eyes and sighs.
Rapunzel walks up to an apple tree and picks up an apple and sits on the ground, she turns the apple in her hand. Not wanting to eat it. She hears a sound and looks at some bushes. She then feels something pick up the apple from her hands.
She looks down too see Rudiger. She ask "Rudiger?" He looks up and runs towards the bushes. Rapunzel said to Pascal "Rudiger might know where Varian and Quirin are!" Rapunzel follows Rudiger to see Varian under a broken branch. She gasp "Varian!" She runs over to him to remove the branch, she ask "Varian?!" He seemed unconscious but not dead.
