"ava! wait up" i turned around to be met with jughead "juggy" i screamed as i ran in for a hug, me and jughead had been friends since we were like 5 years old, he was always there for me he was like the brother i never had and archie was his best friend too so its great i don't have to choose between them. "where's archie?" he said wiggling his eyebrows, "football" i giggled "well i could do with a milkshake and some fries, pops?" "pops it is" i agreed with a big smile.

we finally arrived at pops and took a seat in our usual booth, the waiter came over with our usual as we come here almost everyday "enjoy" he smiled and walked away. me and juggy sat talking for hours about anything and everything laughing at our jokes and the intriguing stories we shared. we were focused on eachother when the bell jingled at the door, i looked ahead to see a familiar face and he smiled as he walked over.

"jughead. my beautiful girlfriend, how are you on this fine evening?" "fantastic" i beamed, "what's going on why are you so happy?" jughead said giggling but with a serious face. "well tomorrow is the showdown to see if me or reggie wins captain" i just stared unsure of what to say, archie slid into the booth sitting next to me "you are coming right?" he said looking at me unsure i hesitated but then spoke "of course i am" making his face lighten up "good because i really need you there" "hey what about me?"" juggy whined making us laugh "of course jug i need you there to" "good you better" jug said bluntly but then smirked.

"so arch what happened when the coach told you about the battle for captain, what did reggie say?" i asked frantically "well nothing really he just agreed to join the battle" he lied, i knew archie was lying because that was not reggie not at all and also archie had a certain thing about him when he lied i don't known what it was but i could sense it. "so do you think you'll win or not?" asked jughead,

"i mean i hope i win I'm going to be trying my best this means a lot to me it could get me a scholarship into a brilliant college possibly the same one as ava which would be easier than being miles away from you" he said looking into my eyes "don't worry you'll win and ill always be here for you no matter what" he leaned in an kissed me, earning sarcastic cheers from  juggy i turned to him laughing "where's betty you loser you're so annoying when you're without her" i giggled.

"she's right there" archie said pointing towards the doors where Ronnie and betty had just walked in. we all sat laughing and enjoying continuous orders of fries and milkshakes until around 1 o'clock unaware of the time because we were having so much fun, eventually we said our goodbyes and archie took me home he couldn't stay over because he had to leave super early in the morning for practice so he took me to my door kissed me passionately before saying goodnight and i went up to bed.
