THE NIGHT AT THE Roller Rink was an unofficial declaration of war between a Gallagher and a LaRusso, yet again. Maria was training everyday, nonstop. She hated Sam LaRusso. More than anything.

The fact she gets to break Miguel's heart and still have him running back to her like a lost puppy. The fact that she's one of the richest girls in the Valley. The fact that she's always got everything she's ever wanted.

The fact that she's Samantha LaRusso.

Hawk was taking a video of Maria punching and kicking a punching bag. She was punching with all her strength, imagining it was Sam. When she was done, she glared at the punching bag. Hawk posted the video on her Instagram.

MOON TEXTED MARIA AND told her that she was having a party. Maria, of course, never missed the opportunity to have a good time.

She got ready for the party with a mix of excitement and nerves. She chose a black tank top with a v-line that only showed a small amount of cleavage, along with black leather pants that accentuated her figure. She matched it with her signature boots. As she applied a touch of makeup and ran a hand through her dark hair, she couldn't shake off the anticipation bubbling inside her.

Making her way to the party, Maria entered the crowded house filled with the buzz of conversation and laughter. Spotting Tory Nichols across the room, Maria's face lit up with a wide grin as she weaved through the throng of people.

"Tory!" Maria called out, her voice filled with genuine excitement.

"Maria!" Tory exclaimed, her eyes bright with joy as she rushed to meet her friend. The two girls embraced tightly, their laughter mingling with the music playing in the background.

"I've missed you so much!" Maria said, pulling back to look at Tory.

"Same here!" Tory replied, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "This party is going to be epic."

She went inside with Tory to get a drink, while Miguel mingled, when the two girls saw the Miyagi-dos sitting on the couch. She turned to Tory and stuck out her tongue while pointing her finger towards her mouth, as a way of saying "Ew". The two of them laughed and got their drinks.

"DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!" TORY was outside, standing on a stool on one foot while having a drinking battle against a guy. He ended up falling, while she finished her drink and crumpled the cup in her hand.

"Winner and still champion, Tory!" Miguel yelled.

"Whoo!" Everyone cheered.

"That's my best friend!" Maria shouted.

She saw Sam and Robby walk out and smirked. "Well, look who it is. Maybe you'd like to play a little game? Or are tea parties more your speed, princess?" Tory mocked with a smile.

"Just give me a cup." Sam replied as she folded her arms.

"All right. New game." She said as she walked towards her stool. They soon began the game.

"Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink!"

Tory finished her drink, crumpled the cup, and threw it on the ground with a smirk. "Too much for you to handle?" She asked. Sam then downed her cup and slammed it onto the ground.

"Whoo!" Stingray's girlfriend cheered for her, her voice cracking.

"Oh, hey, we don't cheer for them. We hate the Miyagi-dos. Come on." Stingray reminded her.

"Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink!"

Tory finished her cup again and threw it onto the ground. "How you doing over there, LaRusso?" She asked.

"I could do this all night." Sam replied.

Tory raised her eyebrows. "Yeah? Big Red. Two shots of vodka." She commanded.

"Sam?" Robby asked, feeling worried for her.

"Just give it to me." She insisted.

When Tory got her shot, she downed it once again as the crowd started to chant again. Sam did a pose as she downed her shot again.

"You got this, Tory!" When she turned to look at Stingray, she slipped and fell off her stool. "Guess somebody couldn't hold their liquor, huh?" Sam teased. She gave her a death glare as Miguel helped her up. "Tory, are you okay?" He asked her.

"I'm gonna go clean up. Just leave me alone." She replied, feeling as she walked away.

"Give her a minute." Maria said to Miguel as she glared at Sam.

After Maria had another drink and mingled for a few minutes, she decided to check on Tory. She walked upstairs to the second floor bathroom and opened the door a crack. When she saw Tory cleaning some of the spilled alcohol on her outfit, she walked in. "Hey." She greeted. "You okay?"

"Not really." She answered.

"Sorry. That was probably the stupidest question I could have ever asked someone." Maria said as she walked over to her. "Let me help." She got some wipes out of her pocket, opened the packaging, and started to wipe Tory's shirt, removing the stain and the smell of the alcohol.

When Maria was done, she saw Sam and Miguel kissing out of the corner of her eye. Tory noticed her staring out the window. "What is it?" She asked and looked out the window too.

After a minute, Tory stormed downstairs and left the party, the anger practically radiating off of her.

That was the last straw.

What no one knew was that because of that kiss, because Tory snapped, the very next day would bring hell to West Valley High School and change everyone's lives forever.
