Speaking of an old friend

The Foundation is having a well deserved break after a type of incident. They had been relaxing, and nothing bad or big had ever happened...except for one little thing.

Koriand'r has gone out of the foundation and began flying, with her hair looking super long by about a mile. Needless to say, the foundation was not happy when Koriand'r goes out to fly fast and see the world entirely. Thankfully, no human saw her. But it was very fearful of what happens if they had seen her get caught by any sort of camera. But it was lucky that this did not happen here, as she came back, safe. Though, the Foundation told her to never do this again, unless she has their permission. Koriand'r apologizes, and agreed there.

Koriand'r is now walking around the facility. As she sees many of the kind SCPs and the most humane here. While she has seen many terrible SCPs, she has not seen everything in the Foundation. But as she is waking, she noticed Alex leaning against one of the wall corridors, and he is holding something. It was a piece of paper in his own hand. Curious, Koriand'r walks to Alex, and spoke out to him to get his full attention.

"Hello, Alex. How are you?"

Alex turned, and spoke out.

"Hi, Koriand'r. I'm doing fine. I'm just looking, at some old stuff from my possessions."

Koriand'r was a bit interested.

"And what does this paper have to do with any of your possessions here, Alex?"

Alex than sighed, and spoke.

"Well...this is a photo. Of someone that I...Knew."

Koriand'r than looked a bit down, before speaking up, calmly.

"Can I see the photo?"

Alex, while he looked a bit reluctant, shows it clearly. It has shows him when he was 13 years old. And the person beside him...

She was a bit surprised at who she is seeing.

"What the...is that not the female from the 001 timeline that we were in? Aqualeily, I believe that she was called right there."

Alex than looked at his photo, and spoke out in a rather sad tone towards her.

"Yes, she is named, Aqualeily. And...I admit...you kind of remind me of her."

Koriand'r than looked rather surprised.

"How come?"

Koriand'r spoke, not understanding what he meant here. Alex took a deep breath, before speaking out to her.

"Like you...she is a princess, but she lives in the oceans of Earth itself. And she was once of good friend of mine before."

Koriand'r than was interested, and spoke out to him, curiously.

"How good was she to you?"

Alex than had a bit of a dreamy smile that appears on his face.

"She was once the kindest person I have ever met. We first met when I was by myself, still sulking. When we met each other, everything in my life was a very happy one there. We would often do challenges, play some games we made, and we would have ways to give ourselves great happiness. We even had kissed underwater, and the way she is with me...she was like family that I had lost. And I was happy when she went in my life. In fact, it was the happiest that I have ever been after so many years."

Koriand'r smiles at that statement. But than he frowned, when he remembered what had come.

"But...as I had learned at the ending...some happy things do not last long."

Koriand'r noticed the saddened expression on his face, and spoke out in concern for him.

"What is it? What happened that made things so horrible?"

Alex turned and looked down. She can see the saddest expression, and almost wanted to cry. He than spoke out
.
"I...I am unsure if I want to talk about this sort of sensitive topic. It's very...very terrible here."

Koriand'r than puts a hand on his shoulder, and spoke.

"I know...but even a Tamaranean wants to her it out, even if it is terrible and cruel to hear. So please, speak it out."

Alex looked at her, unsure. But when he decided to speak up what had happened, he took a deep breath, and spoke with death's calmness.

"One day...someone had framed me for killing her family. Aqualeily believed in their claimed, and had stuck to the tradition of believing the all Humans was very terrible people. I tried to tell her I had nothing to do with the murder of her family, as I am a creature that lives in land, but she shocked me with electricity from her own hands. After that...our relationship's shattered. It happened in that instant, rift before my very eyes. And that stay still haunted me to this day, and formerly, I had still hated Aqualeily, as I had suspected her to be the reason of the framing I had."

Koriand'r looked in pure disbelief and shock of what's said.

"X'Hal. What happened after that?"

Alex than spoke out.

"Actually, it was this act that made me meet the others, even your love interest, Jaime. But...Remember of what I said when I went through a similar 001 event before?"

Koriand'r nodded, before Alex spoke out to her.

"Well...when I met the Aqualeily of that alternate timeline, she told my what had really happened. It turns out that her family wasn't killed by anyone, but by their own hands."

Koriand'r was shocked, but she was unsure what she meant.

"What do you mean, Alex?"

Alex turned and spoke calmly.

"I meant that they had took their own lives by their own hands. Killed themselves, to endure their daughter holds the same vision of their hatred towards humans like them. But something had tipped it off, and made her see what had truly happened before. Needless to say, I was crushed by the truth here, and so was that Aqualeily. Than, it made me realize that the same thing happened in my home, as these 2 timelines share the past. Because of this...I hope to see her again. But at the same time...I can't let the Foundation know of her existence from me. But...when I do see her, I want to reconcile with her in my life. And this time... it's pure and will not be broken."

Koriand'r looked a bit surprised, but is happy to see that Aqualeily had nothing to do with the accident before. Perhaps, he can still gain the happy ending someday here. But for now...he has to stay behind the scenes, and wait until it is time to return to her.

He will be reunited again with the Woman he loves.
