I wake up in an empty bed, looking around Reds room..

I get up and walk into the bathroom, grabbing my tooth brush out of his tooth brush holder.

I have my own tooth brush and body wash over here considering how much time we've been spending together.

"My eyes" I say to myself, looking in the mirror at my puffy eyes from all the crying I did last night..

I brush my teeth and wash my face before walking downstairs to try and find Red..

I smell bacon as I hit the corner.

"You hungry?" Red asks noticing me

He's cooking with his shirt off and I must say I love the view...

"Yeah" I answer softly, still thinking about everything that happened last night..

"Sit down" Red points at the island.

He's so controlling.

I sit down and he sits a plate infront of me with two pancakes, four pieces of bacon, grits and eggs.

"Wow this looks good" I pick up a piece of bacon, taking a bite.

He sits next to me with his plate.

"Yeah, my mom taught me how to cook" Red pours syrup on his food.

Someone knocks at his front door and he gets up to answer it...

I hear distant talking before Red comes back with Brent and another dude behind him..

"I can't believe shorty a Pros- Oh shit why is she here?" The other dude asks looking at me, causing me to look down at my plate in embarrassment.

"Nigga why are you here?!" Red snaps at him before sitting back down next to me to eat his breakfast.

"Damn nigga, I was just asking a question" The dude tells Red.

"Nigga stop asking questions" Brent chimes in walking into the kitchen.

Brent fixes himself a plate of breakfast and sits on the other side of me at the island, making me kind of nervous.

"Can you pass me the syrup?" Brent asks me.

I slowly grab the syrup and hand it to him.

"Thank you"  Brent tells me.

"Georgia boy, you got the drop on Mello yet?" Red asks talking to the other dude.

He's kind of heavy set with a fade.

"Yeah that's what we came over here to tell you" Georgia boy tells Red.

Red

Me, Brent & Georgia boy had to handle some business so I told China to wait at my place until I get back.

We're sitting in a black charger, scoping the scene where Mello be at..

"You care about her don't you?" Brent asks me.

"Care about who?" I ask, already knowing who he talking about.

"China nigga, you care about her. If you didn't you would've probably killed that girl or at-least would've said fuck her" Brent tells me.

"Ain't she a prostitute?" Georgia boy asks causing me to clinch my jaw.

"Call her a prostitute again nigga, see if I don't blow your fucking brains out" I tell Georgia boy, angrily licking my lips.

"Damn I jus-" Georgia boy starts to say but Brent cuts him off.

"Chill out bro, For real. You gone strike a nerve that you ain't even know was there" Brent warns him.

Brent is the only other person that knows who my mom is and that she use to be a prostitute.

Him and his family were there for me during my hardest moments, That's my Brother..

"There that nigga go" Brent speaks, pointing, causing all of us to look.

I see Mello come out of the building with three niggas behind him.

"It's broad daylight. We got to stay on his ass until later" I tell them.

We follow his car discreetly.

Its going on 3am and Red still isn't back. He's been gone forever.. I haven't heard from him since he left earlier with Brent and Georgia boy. He hasn't been answering any of my calls but I'm still at his house..

"Oh my goodness, So that's where you been sneaking off to? That's what's up for real. That man really told you that you're done tricking. Period I need me a man like that. Like bae please take me out the streets" Lola says on FaceTime as I update her on everything.

I laugh and she starts to laugh too.

She's so funny for real.

"I'm still in shock" I tell her.

"I love that so much. I'm so happy for you" She smiles.

"Thank you boo, We need to hang out tomorrow and do something" I tell her.

"I was just about to say don't forget about me bitch" Lola laughs.

"Never" I tell her.

"Period but I got to go boo, a trick on the way. See you tomorrow" Lola tells me.

"See you tomorrow. Love you, be safe"

"I will, Love you too" She hangs up.

I feel so bad that I now have the option to stop being a prostitute but Lola is still stuck in that cycle...

I sigh and begin rolling a blunt with Reds weed and weed tray.

The room door opens and Red walks in covered in blood..

"Oh my god, what happened to you?!" I scream dropping the weed.

"Calm down baby, I'm okay" He tells me.

"You're not okay Red you're covered in blood!" I yell crying.

"It's not my blood" He laughs.

"What?" I ask confused.

"It's not my blood" He repeats, taking his clothes off and putting them into a plastic bag.

"Remind me to burn those" He tells me before sitting the bag on the dresser.

"Okay" I nod.

"It's good to know that you care about me though. You started crying instantly" Red laughs

"That's not funny" I tell him laughing also.

"You want me to finish rolling that blunt?" He asks

I nod.

"Can we talk?" I ask him softly.

"Yeah what's up?" He picks up the weed and sits on his bed in his boxers.

Fine ass..

"Last night you told me that I was done trickin-" I start to say but he cuts me off.

"You are done tricking" He tells me.

"How?" I ask.

"What do you mean how?" He raises an eyebrow.

"I don't have a job. I have no other streams of income. How am I going to survive?" I ask him confused.

"I got you" He tells me.

"So does that mea-" He cuts me off.

"That means I got you"

"Can I talk?" I ask him softly.

He sighs before nodding

"I have feelings for you Red. I know you said you got me.. But do you want me? Like do you want me, want me? I want you" I tell him, trying not to cry but I start crying anyways.

He wipes my tears, kissing me.

"I'm not good at expressing my feelings but yes I want you want you. I have feelings for you too, I knew it was something about you when I kept running into you and actually noticing you....I don't notice a lot of females, no matter how good they look, even after seeing them over and over again but you kept catching my attention. I knew there had to be a reason" Red tells me.

I look at him.

"I'm willing to move pass your past. I just want to help you be better in the future. You didn't deserve what your stepdad did to you, You didn't deserve what your mama said to you, You didn't deserve any of the pain. I see that you have a good heart and a genuine soul" He continues to tell me.

I start to cry more..

"Why are you crying?" He asks me confused.

"I'm just in shock" I tell him as he sparks the blunt up.

He gives me a kiss before passing me the backwood.

"You gone be okay, I promise!" Red assures me while wiping my tears away again.
