Hikari looked around after arriving at Scala ad Caelum. "Where am I...? Did it work...? My mom and my friends are not here yet... Gotta look for the crystal pieces while I can." She head towards town and saw her past self. "Me?" Then her past self ran off. "Hey! Wait!" Then she saw the Heartless and Nobodies appear and one of them that's glowing pink. "One of them looks different from the others..." Hikari said as she summoned her Counterpoint Keyblade and defeats one of the Heartless. Soon after... she saw a pink light and ran over to it near the gate. "What's this?" She recognized it as the first piece of the special crystal. "It's the first piece of the crystal." Then she saw her past self. "Hey!" Hikari ran through the gate to the Breezy Quarter to get three more crystal pieces from the fountain, the machine and the cage. And then... she saw the Darkside that's glowing pink on the square and battles it. When it was over, all five crystal pieces were collected. "That's five... How many more?"

"There are two more, princess," said a voice from behind Hikari.

"Huh!?" Hikari turned around and saw Master Xehanort. "Why are you here, old man...?!"

"I am the one who hid the fragments of the special crystal that you seek,"  Master Xehanort replied. "Of course I am here. No matter—did you come alone?"

Hikari nodded. "Yeah."

Master Xehanort looked closely and laughed as he knew that the Hikari he knew was from the future. "Are you prepared to pay the ultimate price, my dear?"

Hikari summoned her Counterpoint Keyblade. "Enough! It's only two...I'm piecing the crystal together and saving my mom!"

Master Xehanort smirked. "Unfortunately, you're a little too late."

"What!?" Hikari was shocked and turned around to see that Master Xehanort is showing her Sora, Riku, King Mickey, Donald and Goofy on the square, confronting the armored figures. "Oh, no..."

"It appears you have failed to retrieve the crystal pieces and warn your mother in the time to come," Master Xehanort explained. "So here you are, once again, in times already past. However, now that your mother is here to sacrifice herself, you're doomed to repeat the same fate."

Hikari frowned. "What can I do...?"

Master Xehanort chortled as Hikari vanishes. "What indeed? You are nearly out of time."

"Ready, team?" King Mickey said as he gets into battle stance.

As they all prepare for battle, the mysterious adversaries vanished.

Riku looks at the others. "Let's split up!"

Sora, Kairi, Mickey, Donald and Goofy nodded as the six of them split up to battle the robed and masked adversaries.

After the battle, they were all exhausted until Master Xehanort's voice was heard. "Of all the places to be sent."

Kairi looked up and sees Master Xehanort up on the stairway. "Master Xehanort!"

Master Xehanort looked over at the Destiny Islands trio and Disney Castle trio. "Behold, this town... Once a seat of power for all Keyblade wielders. It is the nexus from which all worlds spring." Now... the mysterious adversaries that Sora and his friends defeated turned into spheres of darkness and flew into the elderly Keyblade Master who feels the power coursing through his veins. "Here, I and my other selves can be one. United...in Scala ad Caelum." Then... he changes into his new dark armor and summoned his Keyblade.

"Come on!" Donald quacked.

Goofy nodded. "Let's get him!"

"Yeah!" Sora, Riku, Kairi and Mickey nodded as they all charge towards Xehanort.

Master Xehanort managed to turn the town all topsy turvy and then turns everything sideways, causing the six heroes to fall onto a building.

Kairi looked at the others. "You guys okay?"

Then, Xehanort managed to turn everything upside down, causing Sora, Kairi, Riku, Mickey, Donald and Goofy to start falling and land on building.

Back at the Station of Awakening, Hikari was starting to worry. "I managed to come back, but now what? At this rate, I'll run out of time to get my mom back. Just two more... Two more fragments... Wait! What if...? What if I can trace the hearts of one more guardian and one more family member... But how...? Everyone always told me—to just follow my heart, but... Follow my heart...? Hearts are all connected...trace the connection..." She smiled. "That's it!" She flew over to Ventus' Dive to the Heart and uses her Keyblade to enter Ven's heart.
