After arriving at the Land of Departure, King Mickey and Aqua went to cheer up Ventus while Riku went to meet up with Terra.

At the Grand Hall, Terra smiled at Riku. "Well, look at you."

Riku smiled back. "Thanks. I finally fulfilled my promise to you."

"You did. Now there's nothing left for me to teach you," Terra said as he walked up to Riku. "You're a true Keyblade Master, not to mention a great leader to those around you. You've even found the strength to save your friends."

Riku shook his head. "It's not enough."

Terra smiled as he placed his hands onto Riku's shoulders. "The very fact that you were able to make your way here proves just how strong you are. That is why I called for you."

Riku tilts his head a little. "That's the reason?"

"You expected more?" Terra asked.

"Yes," Riku nodded with a smiled.

The two laughed just as King Mickey, Aqua and Ventus arrived.

"Hey, you two, what's so funny?" Ventus asked as he ran up to Terra and Riku.

"It's a secret," Terra said as he walked away.

Ventus frowned as he ran after Terra. "Aww, come on, tell me!"

Riku looked at Aqua. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, but don't worry, I'm not alone this time," Aqua smiled as he walked up to Terra and Ventus.

The trio summoned their Keyblades and opened a portal to the realm of darkness. Then, they walked closer to it and then turned around, changed into their armors, much to Riku and King Mickey's amazement. Before they could enter the portal, Terra, Ventus and Aqua nods at Riku and the King.

Riku smiled as he and King Mickey watched the trio head for the realm of darkness. "Good luck."

"May your heart be your guiding key," King Mickey said as he turns to face Riku. "Ready to go, Riku?"

"Yeah," Riku nodded as he and King Mickey head out the door.

One year later... King Mickey and Riku had arrived at Radiant Garden to meet up with Nobu and Haya and then took them to meet with Leon and his crew.

"Greetings, your Majesty," Leon greeted Mickey. "You and Riku are here to have a chat."

"Yep, and it's about Hikari," King Mickey nodded.

"I see," Leon said. "Tell me what happened to Hikari."

King Mickey, Riku, Nobu and Haya nodded as they recounted Hikari's disappearance and all that took place after the final battle against Master Xehanort and the Real Organization XIII.

Aerith was concerned. "But if we still remember her, then she must still be with us."

"Yes, that would stand to reason," Leon agreed.

"But we've been searching everywhere for Hikari, and we haven't found a single clue," Riku said. "If she's really out there, don't you think we would have found something by now?"

As Yuffie began thinking, Leon looked at Nobu. "Cid's been looking into the data for a year now. Isn't your brother doing the same thing with the people at the castle? No one's found anything yet?"

"Well...according to what Ozuru told me, it's outside their field of expertise," Nobu replied.

Yuffie looked at Cid who's typing on the computer. "Come on, Cid! Can you throw us a bone here, please?"

Cid was ticked off as he looked over at Yuffie. "Be quiet! I'm tryin'! I'm this close to somethin', I know it!"

As Cid returns to typing on the computer, Yuffie sighs angrily. "Cid, you are a million times worse than a broken record!"

Leon and Aerith laughed with Riku, King Mickey, Haya and Nobu.

Leon looked at Riku and King Mickey. "By the way, how are Sora and the others?"

"Welp, Sora, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy are searching for clues in every past world that Hikari's been to," King Mickey replied.

"And as for the others, Terra, Ven, and Aqua went to the realm of darkness," Riku explained. "And Naminé, Axel, and Saïx are helping the Twilight Town gang are studying Roxas, Kirihax and Xion's memories."

"And what about Hikari's mother?" Aerith asked.

Haya frowned. "Mom..."

At Ansem the Wise's castle, Hiromi was asleep in a chair just as Ansem the Wise and Rini walked away from Even and towards her while Ienzo and Ozuru shares the tablet.

Back at Merlin's house, Haya explained about her mother's plight. "Mom believes her heart might hold a clue about my missing sister."

Nobu nodded. "For a year, she's been sound asleep while they search her heart."

Aerith frowned. "So there's been no progress..."

As the room was quiet, Cid noticed something on the computer and perked up. "What in the— What in the world is this?!"

"What is it?" Leon asked as he and Yuffie walked up to the computer.

"This computer, the one in Twilight Town, and the one in the castle are all connected to the same network," Cid explained. "They sent me all of their data and I merged it with the stuff I already had, and looky here."

King Mickey looked at the computer screen to see Hikari. "Is that...?"

"Hikari?!" Riku, Haya and Nobu gasped as they looked at the computer screen.

Yuffie was astonished to see Hikari inside the computer screen. "Hikari's inside the computer?!"

Cid shook his head. "No, no. That's just the data I constructed based on Princess Hikari and her fightin' abilities."

Yuffie glared at Cid. "So you gave us a heart attack for nothing?!"

Cid sat back and shook his head. "No, that group the princess was fightin'...you know... Battalion somethin'? Well, I recreated their data too."

Aerith noticed the keyhole-shaped doors in front of Hikari on the computer screen. "The real Organization XIII... Maybe their data will lead us to where Hikari is."

"Well, it crossed my mind, but I must be better at this than I thought 'cause their data, it's so powerful, I can't access any of it," Cid said.

Leon got an idea as he looked at Cid. "Can you use Hikari's data to gain access?"

Cid nods as he looks at Leon. "Oh, good idea. Worth a shot!"

Riku nods. "Yeah...let's try."

"Right!" King Mickey and Nobu nodded.

"Dibs!" Haya cried as she rushed over to the computer.

King Mickey looked at Leon and Yuffie. "Leon, Yuffie, you two better head outside and see if Sora and the gang arrives."

Leon nodded as he and Yuffie stepped outside, only for them to see Sora, Kairi, Donald and Goofy arrive at the square. "Sora! Kairi!"

Sora smiled as he, Kairi, Donald and Goofy saw Leon and Yuffie up ahead. "Leon! Yuffie! What are you two doing out here?"

"We were waiting for you," Yuffie smiled. "What? Not expecting us here?"

"The King and Riku are at Merlin's House, along with Hikari's father and Haya, using Cid's computer to look for clues on how to find Hikari," Leon explained. "Let's hope that they find any luck."

"I see," Kairi nodded. "May we see them?"

Yuffie nodded. "Sure. Right this way." She and Leon lead the four to Merlin's house.

Soon... King Mickey turned around to see Sora, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Leon and Yuffie. "There ya are, fellas. We were almost done gaining access to where Hikari might be."

Sora smiled. "Oh cool! Can I help?"

Riku nods. "Of course."

"Then what are you waiting for?" Haya chuckled. "Help me out!"

Sora rushed over to the computer and helps Haya with the computer.

Moments later... The message on the computer screen says: "Hikari" data is not updated.

Cid sighed as he looks at Haya and Sora. "Sorry, kiddos. No sign of the princess."

"What!?" Sora and Haya frowned in unison.

"What a bummer," Yuffie sighed.

Just then... a sparkles appeared, scaring Donald, Goofy and Yuffie and out of the sparkles was Fairy Godmother.

"Fairy Godmother!" Aerith exclaimed.

Fairy Godmother smiled. "Oh-ho-ho, I hope I didn't startle you."

"Not at all," Leon smiled a bit.

King Mickey walked up to Fairy Godmother. "King Mickey at your service, Fairy Godmother. Gosh, what brings ya here?"

Fairy Godmother looked at Mickey. "Well your Majesty, I was asked to come by Merlin and Master Yen Sid. Now, where are Sora and... Oh, Riku! Yes, Riku is his name."

"Here," Riku said as he and Sora stepped up.

"We're Sora and Riku," Sora smiled.

"Why, it's nice to meet you," Fairy Godmother said to Riku as she turns to Sora. "And it's good to see you again. Now, I'd like you boys to tell me about the dreams that you've been having, dears."

Sora exchanges looks with Riku. "Huh? Our...dreams?"

Riku looks down in thought. "There's one... It was dark...and Sora and I are surrounded by tall buildings. We were looking around for Hikari, when we felt someone watching us from way up high."

Yuffie was eager to know what happens next. "And?!"

"I don't know who he is but he looks familiar," Sora said. "Anyways, that's all we remember."

As Yuffie groans in frustration, Cid spoke up. "But what happens next?!"

"Oh, I know," Fairy Godmother replied.

"Huh?!" Donald, Goofy and Yuffie said at the same time.

Kairi looked at Fairy Godmother. "Why Sora and Riku's dreams?"

"Oh, because Master Yen Sid was worried, dear," Fairy Godmother explained. "You weren't having any luck finding Hikari. And because Sora and Riku had been journeying through the Sleeping Worlds with the princess, he thought perhaps Sora and Riku just may be the key. That's why he and Merlin asked me to come here and look into their dreams, since of course dreams are my specialty."

"So Sora and Riku's dreams might...hold the key?" Aerith looked at Fairy Godmother.

Fairy Godmother nodded. "Yes, dear. I'm sure there's something there that leads to Princess Hikari."

"In our dreams...?" Sora and Riku said at the same time.

Fairy Godmother giggled. "And...the other two."

Goofy looked confused. "Other...two?"

"Maybe it could be Haya or..." Donald said.

"My mom," Haya said.

Riku looks at Haya and Nobu as he stood next to Sora. "You two better come with us." Then, he turned to Mickey, Donald and Goofy who stood next to Kairi. "Mickey, take Kairi, Donald and Goofy back to Master Yen Sid's tower. And while you're at it, get Naminé as well."

"Okay," Mickey nodded as he starts to leave with Kairi, Donald and Goofy. "And good luck."
