Ryuji POV
The next day arrives and I wake up next to Toru.

"I should probably get going. I've got some other people to talk to today" I think

I carefully get out of her bed so that I don't wake her.

"Where are you going?" A tired sounding Toru asks

I turn around and see her slowly sitting up.

"Well you know, I'm a busy man. I've got a plethora of people to talk to today" I say

"Oh I know. I just can't believe you're leaving without saying bye" she says

"You're right, how could I forget" I say

I saunter over to her and give her a goodbye kiss. Once we part, she lays back down.

"See you later...Ryu..." she says while falling back asleep

I let out a small smile and make my way out of her room.

As I'm walking through her house, I run into her father sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Good to see you up and about" he says while drinking his coffee

"Good morning, sir. I can assure you that nothing particularly inappropriate happened last night" I say

"Nothing particularly?" He says

"Well besides the fact that I made out with your daughter several times last night. It was very enjoyable" I say

"Sigh...I can see that you're perfectly fine. Welcome back, we were worried about you. Especially my daughter" he says

"Yeah, sorry about that. I had some personal problems I needed to sort out" I say

"It's no matter. Just make sure you don't do it again. I couldn't bare to see my daughter so depressed" he says

"I won't, I can promise you that" I say

With that, I leave the house and start making my way to Bakugo's house.

(A.N. Just a little side note here, know that Ryuji always contacts his parents first. So they do know that he's okay and back home)

I manage to remember the way to Bakugo's house from when we flew after the whole kidnapping and the retirement of All Might situation. And from when I called his mom hot.

"I wonder if Bakugo's mom heard me call her hot? I hope not, I'm a taken man nowadays" I say to myself

I approach their door and knock a few times. A few moments later the door opens to reveal Bakugo's father.

"Takashi?!" He says

"Hello sir, I came by to see how Bakugo is doing" I say

"Well I'm glad that you're safe. And about Katsuki...he's still in the hospital. He only recently just woken up" he says

"I see, then could you tell me the hospital name so that I could go and see him?" I ask

"Of course!" He says

He tells me the hospital he's in.

"Dear! Who's that at the door!" I hear Bakugo's mom ask

"It's Ryuji Takashi, Katsuki's friend" he says

"Takashi!" She exclaims

I then hear footsteps coming to the door.

"It's good to see that you're okay!" She says to me once she gets to the door

"You can't keep me down. After all, I'm friends with your son so I'm pretty resilient" I joke

"We know that he can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but he's a good kid deep down. Thank you for being friends with him" she says

"It's nothing to thank me for. He isn't that bad to hang out with. Once you get past all the yelling that is" I say

"Well I hope you can make Katsuki feel better. He hasn't been himself lately" she says

"I'll try my best ma'am" I say

With that, I say goodbye to them and start making my way to the hospital. Once I arrive, I go to ask for Bakugo's room number.

"Good morning, I'm here to visit a Katsuki Bakugo" I say

"May I ask who you are?" The lady at the desk asks

"Ryuji Takashi, a friend of his" I say

"R-Ryuji Takashi?! Umm...Would you happen to be the up-and-coming quirkless hero...?" She nervously asks

"The one and only" I say

"Umm...D-Do you think I could get an autograph? I'm actually quirkless too and you're just a huge inspiration to me" She asks

"I'm flattered. Of course you can, after you tell me my friends room number" I say

"O-Of course! It's room number 203" she says

"Thanks" I say

I give her my autograph and make my way up to room 203. As I'm walking, I run into a familiar face.

"Well well well, if it isn't the hero himself" I say as I see Midoriya come walking by

He freezes for a moment before he looks at me.

"Takashi...I need to talk to you. It's really important" he says

"Well, I'm here to see Bakugo right now. Did you just see him yourself?" I ask

"No...He doesn't even know that I'm awake from my coma yet" he says

"I guess that sorta makes two of us. He doesn't know that I'm back from the dead yet" I say

"I need you to meet me at this location once you're done" he says while handing me a slip of paper

I look at the paper and see and address written down. I then look into his eyes and see an odd and unusual look in them.

"Got it, I'll be there" I say while putting the paper in my pocket

"Thank you...And don't tell Kaachan that I'm gone yet...please" he says

I look at him for a moment.

"I won't" I say

"Thank you..." he says

He then walks past me and I continue on to room 203. I eventually arrive and knock on the door. I don't get a response so I try again.

"Hey Bakugo, it's me, tin can" I say

I still don't get a response so I decided to just open the door. I peek inside the room and see that he's still sleeping.

"Man, something must be wrong if he's still asleep at this hour" I say while walking into the room

I go up to his sleeping figure and look at him for a moment.

"Wake up" I say

I then slap his face with my left hand.

"What the hell?!" He shouts while jolting up

"Time to wake up, grandma" I say

"Tin can?! What the hell are you doing here?!" He asks

"I'm here to let you know that I'm alive. Toru and your parents told me that you're in rough shape. So I'm graciously here to help you out" I say while taking a seat in a chair

"Tsk, get the hell out of here. I don't need help from you" he says

"Oh come on now, I know somethings up. I can see it in your eyes" I say

"Go off and disappear again, you bastard. Then I wouldn't have to listen to your annoying ego" he says

"I will admit that I've got an ego. But we can't forget yours, Mr.Dynamight" I say

"Shut the hell up! You think you can just come here after beingmissing for a week and pretend that everything is okay?!" He shouts

"Awww, did you miss me that much? Sorry Bakugo, but I don't swing that way" I say

"You bastard! You think this is funny?!" He asks

"Maybe a little bit" I say

"Do you even know how much guilt I felt when I found out that you were missing?!" He asks

He then shuts up and looks away.

"So the truth comes out" I say

"Tsk...Like hell" he says

"Bakugo, you can be real with me. How about this, you tell me what's wrong, and I'll tell you why I didn't come back right away" I say

"Why should I be real with you? I probably deserve the guilt anyways..." he says while clenching his fists

"Bakugo...I know what it's like to hold a tremendous amount of guilt" I say

I then tell him my whole story about my past.

"I was a terrible friend, instead of trying to talk with him, I ruined him and his father's life. I then proceeded to ruin a bunch of other people's lives just because I was scared. I really was a terrible person, someone who really doesn't deserve all the good things happening to me" I say

"Dumbass...It was a long time ago, just move on" he says

"Heh...You say that and yet you know how I feel, don't you?" I ask

He's silent for a moment.

"Do you think...Do you think I can make up for what I did?" He asks

"I'm sure we both can. Two egotistical wannabe heroes. We've gonna have to work our asses off for it, but just maybe we can" I say

"When I saw you flying towards the ocean...I could have tried to do something to stop you...No, I should've tried to stop you. But I didn't..." he says

"I don't think you could've stopped me, I was running away from my troubles while disguising it as a heroic action. Pretty messed up if you think about it" I say

"I'm no better, I spent years running away from my problems, and in the meantime I was a jerk" he says

"Jerk? Try asshole" I say

"Shut the hell up! Like you were any better!" He says

"Yeah, but I changed my attitude. I went from being an ass, to being a cocky ass" I joke

"Heh...You know, I never thought that I'd have a...friend...like you" he says

"So you admit we're friends, huh?" I joke

"Shut up! We've been through a lot together...so it's only natural" he says

"I agree with you though. I honestly thought that I would never be friends with you. Because when I first met you, I thought you were weird, annoying, loud, and obnoxious" I say

He quiet for a moment as he looks at me expectingly.

"And now?" He asks

"You still are" I say

"You bastard! You're just as obnoxious and annoying!" He says

We look at each other for a second before laughing a little bit.

"Well Bakugo, I've gotta get going. I've got other people to see" I say while standing up

"Good riddance" he says

"Trust me, I'm just as glad to be leaving" I joke with him

"I'll see you at U.A. Japan is going to shit, I was told to go straight back to U.A once I'm discharged" he says

"Alright then, I'll swing by Toru's place and get her once I'm done with my business" I say

Before I leave, I look back at him.

"See you later, Katsuki" I say

"See later, Ryuji" he says

I leave his room and start making my way out of the hospital and to where Midoriya told me to meet him.

Two hours later...
I eventually arrive to where Midoriya told me to meet him.

"Kinda odd to meet at an abandoned building" I say to myself

"Sorry for such the odd place" I hear Midoroya's voice say

I look behind me and see Midoriya in his hero costume along with some kind of yellow cape wrapped around him along with his signature backpack.

"Midoriya, what's with the hero outfit? You're not planning to fight me, are you? Because I'll need a couple minutes before I'm ready" I say

"Nothing like that" he says

"Then what's up?" He asks

"I'm...Im leaving U.A..." he says

I pause for a moment.

"What?" I say

"All For One and Shigaraki are after me. I can't put everyone in danger. So I'm going after them" he says

"You're telling me that you intend to become some sort of vigilante?" I ask

"In an essence..." he says

"What about the others? What about everyone at U.A? What about Bakugo?" I ask

"I sent everyone a letter. Telling them about my power and why I'm leaving. But please Takashi, I need your help" he says

"My help? Midoriya, let me tell you my views on vigilantes. I think they're cowards that aren't strong enough to get into a hero school so they resort to fighting crime illegally" I say

"Please Takashi...I know that you must be upset and angry with me, but please, I really need your help" he pleads

"You know that I could get in so much trouble for helping you, right? I could get arrested even" I say

"I know..." he says while looking down

I think for a moment.

"Sigh...Fine, what do you need?" I ask

"Really? You'll actually help me?" He asks

"Just tell me before I change my mind" I say

"W-Well...I'm gonna need good gear, information, and...m-money" he says

"Hmmm...Alright, I can do all that" I say

"Really?! I-I know it's a lot to ask for...Especially since you've already helped me so much before" he says

"I'll help you know your little crusade. But don't get it mixed up, I'm not helping you because I agree with your actions, I'm helping you because someone has too" I say

"Thank you Takashi" he says

"Call me Ryuji. I'll get some things set up for you, a secure bank account and some upgraded gear. I'm also gonna give you a private phone to contact me with. Call me whenever you need information" I say

"Thank you so much Ryuji. I'm sorry for the trouble I'm causing you. But you were the only one I could ask for this" he says

"Just be careful. And don't get arrested" I say

"I'll do my best" he says

"I'll get started on your gear before I head back to U.A, meet me back here tomorrow" I say

"Got it" he says

"And if you're ever in need of backup, you know who to call" I say

He nods and I start to head for the exit.

"Izuku, good luck" I say before the leave

"Thank you Ryuji. Good luck to you too" he says

I leave the building and head home so that I can get started on everything that Midoriya needs...

That does it for this chapter. Let me tell you, Midoriya leaving U.A is one of the last things I expected. But I think it's a cool thing and it's a lot like Midoriya to leave U.A so that his friends aren't in danger from All For One.
