Ryuji POV
"Team, we'll be arriving soon so gather around" Cap says

I close my laptop and head over to our meeting table.

"This mission will have it go a little different. We'll be in a residential area so we can't just go in guns blazing. So I hate to say this but Yami, we can't risk Hulk coming out on this one" Cap says

"No that's fine, I agree with you. Hulk is too much of a risk" Yami says

"We'll have to be some what stealthy here. We don't want them to reach outside of their base and risk them destroying buildings and all that" I say

"What do you recommend then? This team isn't exactly the stealthiest in the world" Nadia says

"Hey now, you're not the only one who can be stealthy" I say

"You're right, Logan has some stealth skills too. Cap does as well" She says

"Well it's too bad that I don't have some sort of stealth suit" I sarcastically say

"Do you have one?" Yami asks

"Dude, I might as well have been the one to invent invisibility tech. Of course I have a stealth suit" I say

"Then that just leaves Yami and Kris" Logan says

"We could remain guard outside" Yami suggests

"We'll be ready if anything happens" Kris says

"Looks like we're set. The four of us will sneak in and take the villains down. While you two stand guard outside incase anything goes wrong" Cap says

"I'll call my stealth suit over here" I say

We break and I have Arvin fly my stealth suit over here as fast as possible. We land in an appropriate landing zone and we all get ready. My suit arrives and I put it on.
(Stealth suit)

"I've gotta ask, besides being able to turn invisible, what's the difference between this suit and your other one?" Logan asks

"Well, this suit has more non-lethal silent weaponry, it's repulsors are a bit weaker, and it has tasers" I say while activating one of the tasers

"Ryuji, show us the way to where you were told the main base is" Cap says

"Alright, I'll be the line leader this time" I say

I lead them all to where the base is. We arrive at the address and it's just a normal looking house.

"Are you sure this is correct?" Nadia asks

"Unless the guy lied to me, then yeah" I say

"Maybe it's under the house, like a basement or something" Yami suggests

"Ryuji, Nadia. I want you two to sneak into the house and report back your findings" Cap says

"Sigh...This better not be a civilian's house" Nadia says while turning invisible with her suit

"It'll be fine, if it is a civilian's house then we'll apologize and I'll give them money or something" I say while also turning invisible

We head to the front of the house.

"I'll go around the left while you take the right" Nadia says

"Copy that" I say

I go around the right side of the house and I see a side door. I look inside the door window and it just looks like a normal house.

"We're gonna have to check inside" Nadia says over coms

"It doesn't seem like anyone's home so we should be safe to look" I say

I open the side door and sneak inside the building.

"This looks like any average home" I think

As I'm looking around, I spot what looks like a hatch in the floor.

"Nadia, I've found a hatch in the main bedroom" I say over coms

"Roger that, I'll be right there" she says

I wait for her to arrive and I see her thermal form on my screen enter the room.

"I'm right next to you" she says

"I know, I saw your thermal cam" I say

"Creep" she says

"You wish" I say

I open the hatch and inside there's a ladder that leads a long ways down.

"I'll hover down and report what I see" I say

"Make it quick" she says

I jump down and activate my silenced thrusters. I hover down to the bottom and what I see makes my eyes widen.

"Holy shit...It looks like a prison down here" I think

"Where the hell is that shipment?! There's only so much we can do with these two brats!" I hear someone shout

"Calm down! They've still got an hour to arrive" another person says

"Everyone, this is the place, I repeat, this is the place" I quietly say over coms

"Don't move from your location, we'll all be there shortly" Cap responds

"I'll show you all how to get here" Nadia says

I wait for a bit and eventually the other three come down here.

"Jesus, it's like a prison for children" Logan says

"My thoughts exactly" I say

"We'll split up and take them down in one silent wave" Cap says

I head to the right and slowly sneak around. I approach a corner and I see two guards around it.

"This months shipment is taking longer than normal, the delivery team is usually here way earlier" one of them says

"Well it's not like it matters to us, we get paid all the same" the other says

"Sorry but, I don't think you'll be paid in prison" I think

I sneak up behind them and take them down at the same time. I then keep going onwards until I see a door leading to two rooms that look extra locked down.

"These could be the two kids" I think

I open the door and I slowly walk into the room. I look at the door for any labels or anything.

"Test subject number #232" one of the doors says

"Test subject number #233" the other says

"Test subjects! It's about time for the third tests of the day!" I hear someone say as they enter the room

I quickly hide as the person walks in.

"No! Please! I can't take anymore!" I hear someone say from behind 232

"Shut up! You don't have a choice number 232!" The person says

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" I say from behind the person

"What the-" I cut them off with a punch to the face

They collapse and I drag them to the side.

"Who's there?! You don't sound like the normal people who take us!" The kid behind 233 says

"Because I'm not the normal people, I'm here to save you" I say

"R-Really? No way...Nobody would ever save us" 232 says

"Damn these monsters! How could they do this to children?!" I think

I may not seem like it, but I have a soft spot for kids. Especially ones who have had bad events in their life. I know what it's like to have not the best childhood so I want to make their life better so that their childhood isn't as bad.

"It's the truth kid, me and my teammates are here to save you" I say

"How can we trust you?" 233 asks

"Well I just beat up the original person who was here to take you" I say

"It could be fake! This could be some kind of test!" 232 says

"Kid listen, I don't have a surefire way to prove that I'm trustworthy right now. So you'll just have to take the chance that I'm really here to save you" I say

I don't get a response for a few moments.

"Lynn...I'll go first and say if it's ok or not" 232 says

"No Lee, we'll go out together" the kid that I assume is named Lynn says

I take the card from the person I knocked out and I open both the doors and take a step back. Both doors slowly open and I see two kids come out of the jail cell looking rooms.

They both look me up and down. I decide to get out of my suit so that they are less intimidated. They both look at each other and give a small nod to each other. They slowly start to approach me.

"See, I'm not gonna hurt you" I say while holding out my hands for them to grab

I make sure to not do any sudden movements or anything that would scare them.

"I know a little girl who's just like you two. I helped save her and now she's living a great life" I say

I then pull out the letter Eri wrote and show it to them.

"See? She's even learning how to write letters now" I say

They look at the letter and I see them relax a little bit.

"My team and I are here to take all these bad people down so that they don't hurt anyone anymore" I say

"We'll trust you for now...But if you betray us then we'll use our quirks on you" Lee says

I then get back into my suit.

"Is it ok if I hold you two?" I ask

They look at each other then nod. I pick them up and walk out of the room.

"Hey! What are you doing!" I hear someone shout from behind us

I quickly fire off a taser shot at the person, I then follow it up with a silent repulsor blast.

"Still think I'm one of them?" I ask the two kids

"How's everyone doing? I've finished going through the far left side" Logan says over coms

"Just about done" Nadia says

"I've just finished" Cap says

"Uh...I had a bit of a detour so I'm not done yet" I say

"I'll come around and meet up with you. The rest of you can head out and meet up with Yami and Kris" Cap says

"Who are you taking to?" Lynn asks

"Just my teammates, they're done going through and taking out all the people in their areas" I say

I then continue walking and taking down any person I find.

"Ryuji, this area is clear now" I hear Cap say from me

I feel Lee and Lynn tense up.

"It's ok, this is one of my teammates" I say

"I'm guessing this was your detour?" Cap says

"Correct, I found the two kids that Nadia and I heard about" I say

"Let's go and meet with the rest of the team" He says

We head out and meet with everyone else outside.

"Some detour you've got there" Nadia says

"What? I couldn't just leave them!" I say

"Whatever, let's just call the police and contact Frost" she says

We contact the police and they come to the house. We show them out credentials.

"We can take those two from you" an officer says

"No!" They both say

"Well there's your answer. Don't worry, I can deal with these two back at my base" I say

We leave and we get on our jet.

"Nice work team, it went really smooth this time" Cap says

"Maybe my reverse psychology worked" I say

"Or maybe something really bad is gonna happen in our next mission" Logan says

"Um sir...where will we be going?" Lynn asks

"Please don't call me sir, I already have one kid who calls me Mr.Takashi" I say

"What should we calm you then?" Lee asks

"Just call me Ryuji or Ryu" I say

"Well Mr.Ryuji, where will we be going?" Lee asks

"First off, please drop the Mr. Secondly, we'll be heading back to my team's home base where they'll figure out what to do with you two. As we are flying, why don't you two tell me about yourselves" I say

"My name is Lee and my quirk is Extreme Speed" Lee says

"Any details?" I ask

"I don't remember exactly, but whenever I run, it feels like time slows down for everyone but me" he says

"That's certainly extremely fast. What about you Lynn?" I ask

"My quirk is called Advanced Telekinesis. It's pretty self explanatory" she says

"Quite the powerful duo you two are" I say

A few hours later, after the rest of the team introducing themselves and Lynn and Lee warming up a little bit, we land at home base.

"What the hell do we have here?" Frost asks as he looks at Lee and Lynn

"Sir, these were the last two kids at the building" Cap says

"Sigh...I'll see what's gonna happen to them" Frost says

I lead Lee and Lynn to my room where they end up falling asleep on my bed.

"Frost wants to see us" Nadia says from behind by door

I quietly leave my room and meet up with the rest of my team.

"Normally we'd be having this meeting tomorrow, but there are some announcements that need to be said right now so I'll inform you about your next mission right now" Frost says

"How fun" I say

"Your last mission, for right now, will take place in the U.S and will take place on Christmas Day" Frost says

"Wow, that's quite the amount of prep time" Logan says

"Well you're gonna need it. Your target is a highly dangerous individual, she's killed every hero and hero group that's tried to go after her. She's an ex soldier who became an assassin. She's most likely not alone either, she was last seen in Oakland town in California so that's where you'll be dropped off" Frost explains

"What a great Christmas gift" I say

"Now onto the next topic, regarding those kids" He says

I then sit up straight.

"We checked and found that they have no family, so they'll be sent to an orphanage" Frost says

"What a shame..." Kris says

"That's no way for kids like them to live..." I think

"Are you sure that they have no other family? Surly there has to be someone" Cap says

"There's no one" Frost says

The team then looks down in sadness.

"I'll take care of them" I say while looking Frost in the eyes...
