Her or Me

Metros
Kerri's POV
The phone was ringing off the hook. Every time me or Trey tried to answer it, the caller would hang up. Trey and I were home with the twins, and Trey was getting irritated. When the caller called again and he answered, suprisingly, the caller was still on the line. Trey put it on speaker.

"Who is this!?!" Trey's irritation booming through his voice.

"I believe you and your wife already know me!" Michaela's voice came through the speaker.

"Michaela!?!" I yelled.

"I told you would regret embarrassing me at that party!" she said.

"So what? You keep calling my house and hanging up when I pick up is the revenge?" Trey asked.

"Oh, no! That was just to annoy you," she laughed, "See, what you don't understand is that I've been doing my research on you guys. Since I'm such a stalker!"

"Baby, I'm scared!" I whispered to Trey.

Trey motioned his hand, telling me to come into the kitchen with him. I looked at him and saw the look in his eyes that said he was scared, too.

"You guys look scared," Michaela said chuckling.

"How do you know what we are doing?!" Trey asked.

I looked around and saw Michaela looking in our kitchen window. I screamed, causing the twins to cry.

"Look at what that tramp you call a wife has done!" Michaela said, still laughing.

"Who the hell is she calling a tramp!?!" I yelled.

Now, everything was messed up! The twins were crying, I was going off, Trey was going off! It was a hot mess in that house! Then, Trey finally got the sense to hang up. Michaela was out of the window. I looked at Trey and he had tears in his eyes.

"I hate to sound insensitive, but why don't we just call the cops?" I asked.

"All she'll do is deny it, and since we don't have any legitimate evidence, she'll get off free," he said a little choked up. I shook my head, and then rubbed Trey's neck.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Other than the fact that this whole family has a stalker, I can't stop thinking that this is all my fault," he said.

"Baby, none of this is your fault," I said, trying to reassure him. Trey cried into his hands. Then he got up and picked Tiara up. Then, he picked up Kiara.

"Baby girl, baby girl, ssshhh. Daddy loves you so sssshhhh," he sang.

He continued to sing those two lines and got the twins to be quiet. He laid them down on the couch, and basically had a conversation with them.

"Daddy is sorry for the things that have happened. I should have kept my distance from her in the first place. Just know that I love you guys so much, no matter what happens," he said, with tears still in his eyes.

Then he got up and walked towards me. I wrapped my arms around him, and he cried on my shoulder. Then, the phone rang again. Trey answered it again.

"Hello?" he answered, not caring about his cracked voice.

"I have a deal for you. You can be with her, and live through hell, or you can make love to me, and live happily ever after," she offered and hung up the phone. Trey looked at me. The look in his eyes said he just wanted to get this over with.

"Do what you gotta do, baby," I said not looking him in the eye.

He called Michaela back.

So is it me or her?" she asked.

"It's her. It will always be her! She's my number one...my only one...the best one," Trey said, looking at me.

"Have it your way, and now you gonna pay!" she said and hung up again. We were both standing there in shock. I was amazed that he didn't just do it, and he looked terrified. We didn't know how to handle this hoe. She was crazy.
