Athena P.O.V.

I woke up in a strange place, with many people around me. People surrounding me talking with hushed voices, all asking the same thing is to why I'm here, looking at a girl with a weird tattoo at her right arm.

I feel a little confused as to why, I'm here either, because all I remember was sleeping at an old house in the woods and someone knock me out really hard and then here I am. As I continue to look around me I can't help but feel scared because all of this people around me look really scary, after thinking something like that I can't help but let out an ear pearcing cry that got all the everyones attention and the girl with the tattoo looked quickly at me to see if I'm alright. When she turn around I suddenly realize that shes really pretty with beautiful black eyes and wavy black hair.

As, she was about to say something we all heard footsteps coming towards the gate then we saw a man about his late 20's wearing a suit come in and walked towards the girl with tattoo. When I saw his face he has a beautiful brown eyes with a perfectly cut dark brown hair. And I quickly duck down under the covers of the bed I'm sleeping in a while ago and heard the man saying, "What did your sister want with my brother?" with a british accent that help me calm a little and peek to see what they're doing.

"Isn't it obvious?" The girl with the tattoo said. "We've a vampire problem and we need help. Marcel has an army backing him. The witches have been trying to fight back, we haven't had much luck, until my sister Jane Anne met a little girl who has a special connection to your brother."

The man with british accent, confusedly said, "What kind of connection?" looking at the girl. They don't seem to mind that I'm crying quietly with tears pouring in my face.

"Apparently, nine years ago, a very powerful witch, A BLACKSMITH WITCH, spend sometime with Klaus, and one thing led to another. She was pregnant. She tried to hide the baby as a normal child, but the baby's powers made that impossible, especially if that baby has the power of a original witch and a blacksmith witch. The little girl I mentioned? She's Klaus's daughter." she said, to the man with a slightly scared and strong voice. Looking at him with determined eyes, when she said the last sentence.

The man is still confused about what she's saying and said, "That's Impossible".

"Nothing is impossible, especially not when it comes to your brother. Think about it. They call him the hybrid, right?" The girl says before shouting to someone else. "Bring her out."

After that, a tall woman comes into the room i was in and grabs me. "No! Let me go! I don't wanna!" and then I start crying loudly as I twist and turn to try and get the woman to let go of me, and not to bring me to the scary lady.

And as I continued to cry, and scream to the woman to let me go. I flickered my wrist highly and screamed, letting the woman to let go of me and crashed into the wall hard.

"Can a normal child do that?" The girl points at me as she continued  talking to the man.

"I- I Don't wanna be here!" I said, crying more tears, that continued to fall down my heart-shaped face and before I try to whoosh away from the man and woman. The man blocks my way, making me cry even harder. As, I can't seem too know why they can't let me go.

"Give us a moment please". The man says, to the woman with tattoo. I feel scared as to why he wanted to speak to me alone, as I continue to cry even harder.

The man crouched down infront of me and said, "It's alright, don't need to be afraid, I'm not here to harm you." He says to me softly.

As, I continue to cry and sniff softly I said, "What do you need from me? Who are You?", walking backwards away from him.

He smiled softly and kindly to me, and stood up reached his hand to me and said, "My names Elijah. Don't need to be afraid child, I'm not going to hurt you." Urging me to take his hand.

"Are you going to hurt me? Mommy, said, when I was little not to trust strangers because they might hurt me." I said, remembering what mommy told me before she died. Just thinking of the day she died made me cry loudly again.

"Hey, hey shh don't worry I'm not going too hurt you ok? Nobody is going to hurt you, I Promise you that. And Let me tell you, I Am a Man of a word. I always keep my word." he said, and continued to soothe me and hugged me softly rocking me back slowly and touches my hair softly to help me calm down. As, I calmed down he said, "Now come on let's talk just you and I ok?" holding a hand out for me to hold

I sniffed softly and look at him and said, "Ok" taking his hand.

We walked back at the room were I previously at and sat at the bed.

"Now tell me what is your name child?" he said, with a calm and soft voice.

"My Mommy named me, Athena. Athena Ares Blacksmith." I said, while swaying my feet of the ground freely.

"Such, a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. Tell me what is your mother's name?" he asked, as he run his hand freely in my wavy blodish golden hair with a soft smile planted in his face looking at me with so much love.

"My Mommy name is Anna Katerina Blacksmith. She is a very kind and loving mommy I had."

"And had your mother told you about your father?" he asked

"Mommy says I Don't have a Daddy that I don't need one because I already have a mommy, but now I have no one because Mommy's gone." I cry silently with tears running down my face slowly.

He sadly looked at me and hugged me tightly and said, "Everyone has a Father Athena. And Eventhough your Mother is not here anymore, you still have your father ok?"

"Really, Daddy is still alive?" I asked with my head tilted to the side looking at him with innocent eyes.

"Yes, very and he will be very glad to know about you" he smiled at me, with my face cupped around his hand.

The girl with the tattoo entered and said, "Well I'm glad you two are getting along." Elijah stand up and said, "What precisely is it that you want? And what does it have to do with the child?"

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town." She tells him. "Klaus is the key. Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him, he won't see the betrayal coming."

"As I'm sure you're aware, my brother Niklaus doesn't like being told what to do." Elijah said, to her with and angry and threatening expression look.

"That's why I brought you here." the girl nods. "Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago. Do you really think that he's gonna welcome a child who is vampire, werewolf, and witch to the neighborhood?" Vampires, werewolves, and witches??? all I know are witches because mommy is one.

She pauses before continuing. "Convince Klaus to help us and no one has to know about the newest member of the Original family."

"Sounds like your blackmailing us." Elijah said, with the same angry expression.

"Like I said, I'm desperate." She said to Elijah with an angry look.

She and Elijah stare at each other for a long time before Elijah finally speaks up again. "Well then, I see to it Klaus will be here in no time." Then walked out the door to retrived this Klaus guy.

The girl looked at me with an angry look and said, "Go to sleep I'll wake you when he's back ok? Good." walked out, of my room and locked the door from outside.

I cried silently because of how scary this place looks and slowly put my head to my pillow and closed my eyes softly humming the song mommy used to so too me before I sleep.

I hug my Pillow tightly with tears running down my face as I watch Elijah, argue with the man named Klaus. Telling him to listen to the girl with the weird tattoo with a name Sophie.

"No." Klaus shakes his head. "That's impossible." He said, with a rather disturbant and unbelievable face looking at Elijah.

"I've said the same thing myself." Elijah told him.

"This is a lie." Klaus screams with an angry voice. "You're all lying. Vampires cannot procreate." He said, still unconvinced with all of this.

Sophie said, "But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the original hybrid. The first of your kind, and this child is... One of nature's loopholes." she took a deep breath and continued, "My sister give her life to perform the spell that confirmed that this girl is your child." with a sad face and teary eyes, but she didn't allow herself to cry as she remembers her sister and said, " "Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, this little girl's life is now controlled by us." with a rather scary voice like she wanted to hurt me right now if Klaus doesn't agree to them. "We can keep her safe." Sophie continued looking at Elijah and Klaus scarily and then said, "Or we can kill her? If you don't help us take down Marcel, Athena won't live past another week." with a determined and scary face as she face them, thinking that she had won. I continued to cry even harder but silently so they can't hear me.

"Enough of this." Elijah said angrily looking at her for scaring me. "If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself."

"No, we can't." Sophie shakes her head. "Not yet. We've a clear plan that we need to follow and there are rules."

"How dare you command me?" Klaus growls scarily, at her that made me hugged tightly my pillow and stopped myself to cry even harder. As he continued, "Threaten ME with what you wrongfully perceive to be MY weaknesses!" Klaus screams angrily at her, rather to pounce at her and kill her, now I can't stop it anymore as I cry harder and tearfully with many tears continuesly running down my face,

"Because this is a pathetic deception." Klaus continued to scream and added, "I won't hear anymore lies." He was about to leave but Elijah whooshed infront of him and said,  "Niklaus." Elijah says loudly before he and Klaus look at each other. "Look at her." with a soft voice, allowing Klaus too look at me with an expression I can't explain as I continued to whimper softly and hugged tightly my pillow.

He said, "You can kill her, for all I care" then, whooshed outside quickly and never looking back. His words keep running in my head that made me cry even more as his words hurt me for saying those.

He walked towards me and hugged me tightly and softly said, "Everything will be alright, sweetheart. I promise." as I tightened my child in his dress shirt, crying softly.

Then, he turned to Sophie and said, "No one touches the child" He says seriously looking at Sophie and added, "I'll fix this..." running along to find Klaus to convince him that I am his child.

The witches are argueing again, "Marcel and his vampires are out of control." Sophie argues. "Something had to be done."

"And the solution is to bring in more vampires?" An older woman said, clearly not believing Sophie of what she says.

"These aren't just any vampires, Agnes." Sophie said seriously. "They're the originals."

"What makes you think you can control the hybrid?" Agnes said seriously looking back at her.

Before Sophie can say anything else, Elijah interrupts. "She can't... Not entirely certain that I can either. But now that your coven has drawn his eyes, I've a question. What prevents my brother from murdering you instead of cooperating?"

Sophie smiles to him and grabs a thin stick from the table beside her. "It's laced with vervain." She told Elijah before she pole her finger with it.

I feel a burning feeling on one of my fingers and it hurts, making my eyes water. "Ouchy..." I whimper tearfully as I put my hurt finger in my mouth and lick it until it doesn't hurt anymore.

Elijah looks unhappily surprised before Sophie speaks up again. "The spell my sister performed?" She said to him with a questionable look and added, "The one that got her killed, it didn't just do a paternity test, it linked me to Athena. So, anything that happens to me, happens to her."

Sophie smiles evily before continuing, "Klaus may not care about his own child, but it's very clear what she already means to you. If I've to hurt Athena, or worse, to ensure that I've your attention, I will."

I continue to lick my finger as the ouchy begins to disappear and elijah said, "You would dare threaten an original?" with a scarily voice.

"I've nothing to lose." Sophie shakes her head before looking at Elijah scarily. "You've until midnight to get Klaus to change his mind... or Athena Gets it" she said, looking at me with evil eyes.

Elijah asked, "What is it that you possibly have against this child that made you so desperate to get rid of her? " confusedly looking at Sophie.

Sophie asked, "Have you ever heard the name of a Blacksmith Witch?"

Elijah, still looked confused and said, "Yes. I've heard you said that the child's mother is one and she is too but why that this have to do for you wanting to kill her?"

Sophie explained, " A Blacksmith is one of the powerful witches and worlocks since 2000years ago. Some say, there are a distant cousins of Silas a known immortal worlock at that time that fell in love with a woman named Amora. Many people are scared of the blacksmiths because some says, that there magic is not like any magic that the normal witches ever used, some say they only use magic for there own personal gain and that they always use Dark Magic to get what they want. Nobody can stop them because even though, all the witches of the world combined together even if there are THOUSANDS, MILLIONS, or BILLIONS will use there magic against them? Nobody can stop them." with a scared expression along with all the witches inside the room.

Elijah didn't continue to question anymore and left quickly...

I'm waiting for Elijah to return because hes the only one I can trust for the moment, I don't know why but I feel calm and safe when I'm around him. I saw Elijah walked into to room to my bed were I sat and said, "Would you like to cone home with me?"

"But... what about Daddy he doesn't like me, he even said, he doesn't care if i die or not" I said, crying softly and looking at him with innocent eyes and added,  "And , I don't have a home to go too if I leave"

"Yes, you do." Elijah told me as he crouches down in front of me, until were in the same eye level and said, "You will have a new home with me, and your father."

"But, he doesn't like me he said, that he's going to let someone hurt me." I said as I continued to cry even more, by remembering of what he said.

"No, hey He doesn't mean it." Elijah said, with a shake of his head and added, "He was just... Angry."

"So, he was lying?" I tilt my head to the side, and pouted my lips slightly.

"Yes." Elijah smiles a little of my reaction and runs his hands to my hair softly.

"Will you promise to never leave me ?" I ask as I bite down on my pink lips.

"Of course." he said, taking my hand with his squeezing it tightly but softly.

"Okay." I said along him to drag me out of that horrible place.

Elijah takes me into a BIG house where a lot of the things inside are still covered with white cloth. I look around the Huge place, before pulling  Elijah's arm. "Are we going to be living here?" I tilt my head up at him with a smile in my face.

"Yes, this is going to be our new home." Elijah crouches down in front of me with a smile and cupped my face between his hands and said, "You're going to be safe here. This is going to be a good home for you, and I'll always protect you, you have my word on that."

"And your noble uncle Elijah always keeps his word." Klaus says as he walks over to us, also crouched down in front of me and said, "I'm sorry for what I have acted earlier, I didn't mean to frighten you" sincerely looking at me with a sorry expression and I said, "Its ok Daddy, I forgive you. Mommy always says, that to learn how to forgive and forget" with a smile and hugged him tightly, until I saw a dark-haired woman I haven't seen before, behind him.

"Hello Hayley." Elijah smiles at Hayley, before looking at Klaus and asked, "Is it done?" My face frowns silently, confused of what there talking about.

"As a matter a fact, yes." Klaus smiled, still looking at me with his hands at my shoulder and said to Elijah, "Your underhanded deal worked quite well. Marcel was only too happy to accept my blood even as he accepted my heartfelt apologies. His man Thierry yet lives and I remain a welcomed guest in the French quarter. And he frowned, before continuing, "What I'm concerned now, is this coven of incompetent witches."

"I believe them to be honorable." Elijah said. "They did release Athena to me. Although, they haven't been entirely forthcoming. Marcel obviously has something that they need. They don't want him dead, there must be a reason why."

Then Elijah looks between Hayley and me. "Hayley, would you mind taking Athena upstairs to play?" He said before turning back to Klaus who is still, crouched down infront of me and said, "I believe Niklaus and I have some business to discuss, and I would prefer it if you and Athena are kept out of it."

"It's not like I would want to know anyways." Hayley rolls her eyes before looking down at me. "Come on, let's go see what it looks like upstairs... and do you mind telling me what your whole name is?" as we, marched upstairs.

"Athena Ares Blacksmith. But you can call me Tina." I happily said, to her

"Well, how about I just call you Ares instead it really fits you ok?" she smiled down at me with a soft voice.

"Ok" I laughed and continued to marched up the stairs. This is going to be fun. I thought happily.
