Jay's p.o.v

Light humming wakes me as I open my eyes. Kai is on his phone, he's listening the music. I sit up, catching his attention, he comes over. "Zane made dinner if you want it." Kai said. I nod, I'm hungry and want real cooking. Kai hands me my crutches, I stand. Grabbing the backpack, I sling it on my back. Kai opens the door, I walk out. Head still fuzzy, I stick to the walls. As we get to the dinning room archway, I don't see the area Lloyd had cleaned. The right crutch slips, I crash hard.

"Jay, Zane help me..." "Kai I have to do this." I grab the wall, using the bench, I pull myself up to stand. Kai gives me my crutches, I sit on the bench. Zane puts a plate down before me, parlow with mac and cheese with a side of baked beans. Looking at Zane, I nod and start eatting. Halfway through the meal, arms wrap around me as Cole sits beside me. He nuzzles my neck, one I return as the others come in. "We heard a crash, what happened." Wu asked. "Lloyd cleaned a spot on the floor, leaving wet. Jay was coming in and the crutch slipped, sending hem crashing down." Zane said, smacking said boy in the head. "Jay pulled herself up and seated himself." Kai said. "And y'all didn't help hem." Nya yelled. "I wanted to do it, what if all of y'allare on a mission while me and Cole recover, we have to do something like that by ourselves." I said. Wu nods in understanding "Still, y'all can rely on us." he says. "We know sensei, it's just, we have to do some stuff on our own." Cole said.

I nod, finishing my dinner. I drink the milk Zane put for me. "Thanks Zane." I say. Zane nods "No problem brother." He replies. Getting sleepy again, I get up, bedding everyone good night. Kai follows me, Zane Cole as we go to our rooms. Once again laying on my bed, I fall asleep.
