1 - Transmigration's A Dick

50 years ago, rifts started to open around the world. Portals to other dimensions. And with their appearance, so did the fantastical monsters that lived within them, led by the ruthless Demon King. Unprepared for them, millions died. But not only did monsters come through, but other species which held magical powers. Four Great Sages sealed the Demon King away in his own dimension, saving the world.

Now, the other species live integrated with the humans. Elves, Succubi, Kitsunes, Fairies, and more! Now magic is a commodity, used by adventurers to protect civilians whenever rifts open up.

Eric Arthurson transfers to Japan from America, where his sudden arrival will set his life on a course to become a great adventurer, followed with his friends who may love him a bit...too much.

That's the synopsis of Heaven's Hell. A harem anime where the girls are yanderes. An one of a kind anime.

I don't know what attracted me to the anime. Was it the harem? Yanderes? The story? I'm not sure, but this anime became my favorite of all time.

You might be wondering, why am I thinking about how much I like this anime?

Well, I'm finally watching the finale. The final episode of the final season. I've been busy the last days with work, so I haven't been able to watch it.

I've been able to avoid spoilers, but I did hear that there's a controversial and bold twist in this finale, which makes me incredibly intrigued.

My little sister Kira has also already gone to sleep in her bed. I'm completely ready to watch the final episode.

...what time is it?

I checked my phone, seeing it was 12:00...

Huh, it's later than I thought...

I'm getting tired...

Going to sleep kind of sounds good...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Where the hell am I?

This isn't my ceiling.

I sat up, seeing I was in a small bedroom.

Okay, who kidnapped me and why?

I stood up from the bed and started to look around. Opening the nearby closet, inside was a bunch of clothes and a mirror attached to the back of the closet door.

I should see if I look ok in the mirror. Maybe they did something to me.

So I looked upon the sacred closet mirror.

...

WHO THE HELL ARE YOU??!!?!?!?!

A young teenager stood in front of the mirror, with blue-green hair and emerald eyes, currently pointing at himself in the mirror in disbelief.

THIS IS ME?!!!?!??!!!

Okay okay, calm down. You woke up in an unfamiliar place in someone else's body who looks better than you.

Everything is fine.

...

That's a lie. Everything's wrong here.

Okay, calm down. Maybe there's something around here, for some clue?

There's a desk across the room. I walked over, and quickly shuffled through the drawers, trying to find anything.

Hey, here's a wallet!

Opening it, there was some paper money and coins, and two cards. Wait, this money isn't American money.

I poured it out, leaving the money on the desk. I put my face closer, almost touching the money.

Is this...yen? The Japanese currency?

What?

I checked one card. It seems to be a credit card. Placing it down, I checked the other. This one seems to be an identification.

Ken Kage. That's the name of the person who's body I'm in. A sixteen year old teenager.

That's a Japanese name. Am I in Japan...?

I ran over to a window, pushing the curtains over to look outside. Outside, a bustling neon city.

I think this is Tokyo...

Oh god, I'm in Japan.

Somehow, I've inhabited the body of a teenager in Japan.

Is this...transmigration?

After this revelation, I did the most appropriate thing for someone in my situation to do.

I cried.

"I'm sorry...Kira..." I sobbed.

I cant believe this. I abandoned her. Just like how I was abandoned.

Wiping my eyes, I decided I needed to be logical.

I doubt there's going to be any way to get back. I came here in my sleep, and unless that happens again, there's likely no way to go back. Somehow, I was transmigrated.

I'm just glad I left that money in the vault for Kira. That should last for her quite a while. It was every single extra dollar I got.

Checking around the room some more, I found something that looks like a phone. It kind of looks like my iPhone, but it's from a brand I don't recognize.

Opening it, it seems that Ken didn't leave a password. I'll have to change that.

Okay, what's the date?

...

Excuse me?

JANUARY 15TH OF YEAR 2052?!?!??!

WHAT?!????!!

That's years later! I'm in the future!

Maybe that explains the unknown brand for the smartphone...

Let's see current news. Knowing what's going on in the world would be very helpful.

Wait...

Brandon Tsuki reaches Tier 15..?!

Brandon Tsuki?!

Why is he here?!

No, don't tell me!!!

Searching it up, my worst fears became true.

I was transmigrated into the world of Heaven's Hell.

For most people, that would be awesome. Not for me. Because this world is incredibly dangerous, and also...yanderes!!!!!

I'm screwed....

...

...

After a long amount of time researching I confirmed that I am in fact in the world of Heaven's Hell, the yandere harem anime.

And three months before canon starts. Two months before Eric, our main character, transfers here.

And I may be completely screwed.

Now you might not completely understand just how severe this situation is without some explanation.

Heaven's Hell is a yandere harem anime in a modern fantastical setting. Anytime, and literally anywhere, a rift can open and release monsters.

These monsters can range from very weak goblins to powerful dragons. I could go to a restaurant and an orc could appear from a rift in the restaurant while I'm trying to eat dinner and kill a few people.

Quick, unexpected, dangerous, and there is no counter. Except for the adventurers, those with magical powers who can fight back against the monsters.

The way these people become adventurers is by awakening their Arcana, a weapon which contains a spirit from history. For example, most are mythological figures from many different mythologies. Then, the adventurers train and "level up" their Arcana through tiers.

The higher the tier, the more powerful an adventurer is, with Brandon Tsuki being the most powerful adventurer in Japan at Tier 15.

These adventurers are then sent out to fight the monsters. They can also be sent into rifts, but this can be dangerous as it's another unfamiliar world, with a limited time before the rift closes.

So the world is pretty dangerous. Not to mention the main cast goes against a world-threatening...threat, and I don't know if they win or not.

You might be thinking, of course they'd win! They're the main characters of the anime!

Here's the thing; there's a controversial twist in the final episode. That twist could be the fact that they LOSE instead of win.

And there's no way for me to know until that time comes.

So let's list it off: the world itself is dangerous, there's a world threatening threat, and there's yanderes.

I may be screwed.

Especially since I'll be in the thick of it. The main cast goes to Legacy High, the adventurer highschool which teaches them on how to be adventurers.

I'm enrolled to go there. And there's no way to back out of it.

Through some letters I found I discovered I moved to this apartment building in Tokyo away from my parents to go to Legacy High.

I don't have Ken's memories, so I have no idea if my parents would accept me going back to them. And if they did, I would certainly act different from their Ken.

Going to Legacy High at least gives me the excuse that the school changed me. It will also let me get powers, so I'll have a better chance surviving.

As for the yanderes, as long as I don't interact with them or Eric, I should be fine.

Now for Ken himself. I've never heard of him.

So, he's a mob character. Perfect.

He's also kind of a slacker. Despite going to Legacy High, he hasn't been training his body at all. He isn't fat, but thin and scrawny with no training. Definitely not a perfect body.

And I can't train in magic either, as your Arcana can't be unlocked until the first year of highschool, or you might just have a magical combustion.

Basically, boom-boom bye-bye.

So some people train their body to make it more fit and stronger. Ken has done absolutely none of that. He has some flab on his belly...

His face looks better than mine did however. He's two years younger than me and he looks better. Well, me now. This is strange, because I kind of stole his body.

Sorry Ken.

Anyways, the plan is to go to the Dojo I believe will give me the best chance of preparing for canon before I can unlock my Arcana. Taiyou Dojo.

I do run a risk of meeting one of the yanderes there, but I don't think I will based on how Eric met her.

Besides, I only have three months. This may be my best chance.

Yeah...I'm screwed.
