We went into the dining room to find the most posh family in the world, seated for dinner. There was an elderly woman in a simple yet elegant white pencil dress with a man seated beside her who was in a grey suit. I could tell they were a couple, maybe Mr Green's parents.

Then there was another elderly woman, who I took to be Nana. She would've been beautiful if it wasn't for the heavy jewelry she had on, along with silver v neck dress and the botox which made her look like a grandma barbie doll attempt gone wrong. Her hair was definitely dying by now but she hid it with blonde hair dye with highlights. Beside her was a woman who looked close to Callie's age, her face a little stiff with botox, her lips lined in deep red, wearing the same amount of jewelry as Silver and a golden halter neck dress. That was Aunt Tami.

"I take it they are...",

"Yup", Will cringed a little at the sight of them but he managed to keep up a smile which somehow looked very genuine.

"Will!", They both screeched as they hurried out of their chairs to tackle him with a hug and smothering him with kisses.

"Oh I missed my grandson!", Nana planted a big pink smooch on his forehead.

"How is my favourite nephew doing?", Aunt Tami covered his cheeks in her glittery lipgloss.

"Hey...Guys", Will forced a smile as he tried to wipe away the lipgloss, "How are you?",

"Before the chitchat", Aunt Tami said, "There's someone I want you to meet, Kiki!", she called.

A girl about our age stepped into the room. Her blonde hair straight and shiny, her lips covered in light purple lipgloss, her ears stretched due to the heavy earrings and her breasts-oh good lord. She was wearing a beautiful red dress with a sweetheart neckline, a heart shaped ruby pendant placed between her defined collar bones.

I'm not a judgemental person. But it would be no understatement to say that they were HUGE. And not natural huge. This was plastic surgery huge.

They looked like they would pop out of her sweetheart neckline and I silently started praying that wouldn't happen because I did not want to be scarred for life.

"You remember your cousin Kiki", Aunt Tami grinned widely.

"K-Kiki?", he stuttered out.

"Hi Will, how are you?", The girl swayed from side to side as she bit her lip.

"G-Good", he managed a smile, "W-What h-happened to you?",

"I changed things up a bit", she replied.

"Wow Will, you're much more muscular than before", she giggled as she ran her hands down his arm.

OH. HELL. NAH.

That's his cousin!!!

Ok that is sickening.

Mentally barfing.

"Thanks", Will smiled, his eyes not going to her breasts even once, though they were almost in his face.

Back off ladies.

"So I was wondering Will, now that you're single and so is Kiki, why don't you both go for a little drive after dinner?", Nana offered.

Will stepped back.

"Sorry but I already have plans with my girlfriend", he pulled me forward, placing me in front of them, "This is Harper, my beautiful girlfriend",

Nana, Aunt Tami and Kiki stared at me like I was a piece of gum stuck to their hair.

"Hi, it's a pleasure to meet you", I smiled.

They all gave me saccharine smiles which looked painful due to their botox.

"So this is the lucky girl", The woman in the white dress stepped in with her husband.

"Be honest with me young lady", he said, "Are you sure about this because my grandson may be a good kid but his history with women is a bit.........adventurous, you could say",

"I'm well aware of his rather.....colorful history", I gave Will a pointed look, "But I am sure about dating him, despite all of his mistakes",

"I wouldn't call them mistakes I-", I snapped my head in his direction, daring him to disagree.

"Yeah, yeah, she's right, mistakes, only mistakes", he put an arm around me, "Harp's always right",

Now that's the answer I like.

"Harp, these two are my wonderful grandma and grandpa", Will introduced.

"Oh please, just David and Annie for you Harper", Annie corrected, "We feel old enough already",

She pulled out a wet wipe from her clutch and handed it to Will.

"You look like you were attacked with a sticky glitter bomb darling", she stated.

"You mean a sticky glitter bomb called Aunt Tami", Will added.

I could feel the three hateful pairs of eyes, piercing my skin. They glared at me with utter distaste, as if I had just run over their puppy, and I could almost hear them silently cursing me for eternity.

"You alright?", Will nudged me, "We could leave if you want",

"Will, it's fine, it's just for a few hours, I'll manage", I laced my fingers with his

"I don't want you to tolerate this Harper", he squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"I won't be bothered, besides, I'll have you with me", I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him, earning a gasp from the three witches with a b, "And I've already marked my territory", I winked.

Will's face relaxed a bit, his lips quirking up into a small smile, "I love it when you get all possesive, it's a real turn on", he smirked.

"Oh shut up", I giggled.

Callie called us in for dinner and we all started sitting down. Kiki tried to snatch the seat beside Will when I bolted to it and gave her my best Don't-you-dare look, to which she scowled and sat down opposite from us.

Will looked like he was still in shock. He kept on running his hands through his hair and tapping his foot incessantly.

I laced my fingers with his, snapping him back to reality.

"What's wrong?", I whispered.

"I'm just surprised",

"By what?",

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and in a few swipes, handed it to me.

"You see that girl beside me?", he pointed at the picture on the screen.

14 year old Will in a neon yellow t-shirt and shorts was hugging a girl younger than him. She had frizzy brown hair that had been tied into two pigtails, a tiny frame and a pair of pink framed Barbie themed glasses. They both grinned into the camera, as if it was the happiest day of their life.

"Yeah, cute kid", I said.

"That is my childhood best friend, this girl and I were practically inseparable, she's a year younger than me", he explained, "And that is from 3 years ago at our last family trip with Aunt Tammi and Silver",

"But.....wait", realization dawned on me, "No WAY", I gasped.

"Yup, that's Kiki", he shook his head in disappointment.

My mouth fell open.

That's her? This is her? This sweet harmless girl is that? And that little Barbie doll wannabe is this?

"That does not look like the same person", I mumbled.

Throughout dinner, Will remained in shock, stealing glances at what used to be his best friend and sister

"So Harper", David asked, "How long have you and Will known each other?",

"Since we were toddlers", I replied, "We met at the hospital when my mom went there for checkups while she was pregnant with my little sister",

"And it took them this long to start dating", Callie huffed, "I swear there is no girl more perfect for my William than Harper", she glanced at Kiki as her lips formed a subtle smile.

"And when did you realize you both liked each other?", Annie querried.

"A few months ago for me", I answered, blushing as I remembered when I had realized I was crushing hard on William Green.

"So, how long have you two been dating?", Annie asked eagerly.

"A few weeks", Will replied, "It took us too long to realize we like each other",

"Excuse me?", I stared at him, "I knew I lo-liked you before, so don't go blaming me",

Shit that was close.

"Will and Harper have been friends since they were kids, to be honest, I don't think anyone could be better for Will than Harper", Callie glanced over at Kiki before giving me a subtle wink.

"So is he your first boyfriend?", Kiki asked.

"No, Will's my second",

"Who was the first?",

"Mason",

"Isn't that Will's best friend?", she smirked.

"Yeah, he is", Will took my hand, "But that doesn't change how I feel about Harper, or the fact that Mason's my best friend",

"I remember Annie saying that you remind her of Aunt Callie", Kiki recalled, "Well that's not surprising, you both went for the gold",

Will's hand tightened around mine. His jaw clenched in anger, and I could see the veins popping out on his neck.

He was really mad.

Callie just looked down at her plate, trying not to listen to what Kiki was saying, but by the way her hands quivered, you could tell it was upsetting her.

We ate rest of the dinner in silence.

By the atmosphere in the room, it wasn't a secret that no one wanted Silver, Tammi or Kiki there.

Once dinner was over, Callie literally pushed me out of the kitchen so that I couldn't help her wash the dishes, saying I was a guest and guests sit, giggle and sip tea.

I sat down in the living room with Will, Kiki, Silver, Tammi, Mr. Green and David.

"Shouldn't we leave now?", Wil nudged me.

"We can't just leave, Callie made mochi for the first time, she'd be pretty upset if we left early", I told him, "We'll leave right after dessert, I promise",

"Okay", he sighed, running his hand through his hair, "I'll be right back, need to use the bathroom",

He got up and left while I scrolled through my phone.

Suddenly, I got a text from Kenzie.

KenzieBear: Sooooo? How's the dinner going?

Me: Good so far.

KenzieBear: Good? GOOD? Ok what happened?

Me: Wdym?

KenzieBear: When u say good, it means something is going to go wrong, but it hasn't yet so I'm not going to tell u and when it does go wrong, I'll rant to you about it

Me: Nuh Uh

Kenzie: Yuh Uh, now SPILL.

I told her everything about Callie's side of the family. Kiki trying to hit on Will the entire night. The three of them throwing me nasty glares here and there.

KenzieBear: I swear, I would grab that Kiki girl by the hair and fling her out the window like a stuffed toy.

Me: That's exactly why I'm me and you're u

KenzieBear: Just tell me if she does anything stupid, I'll make sure to wipe off every trace of her from the face of this planet.

Me: I'm definitely not telling you then

KenzieBear: Don't test me Harper

I slid my phone back into my purse, deciding to ignore Kenzie and her destructive behavior.

"Here we are", Annie and Callie walked into the room with a wooden tray in their hands with an assortment of rainbow colored mochi placed neatly on them.

"These were hard to make, so if you don't like them, gulp em' down I don't want to hear it", Callie threatened teasingly.

"Where are Will and Kiki?", Annie looked around earning giggles from Silver and Tammi.

Will was- wait......where is Kiki?

Oh no.

Callie and I shared a desperate look. Both of us, thinking the same thing.

Callie eyes said one thing. GO!

I abruptly stood up from my seat.

"I'll go get them", I hurried away before Silver or Tammi could object.

Rushing up the stairs, my eyes frantically searched for the both of them.

"Stop it Kiki", I heard a voice say.

I stopped in front of Will's bedroom. The door was partly open, so I peered in.

Kiki had Will backed up against a wall, her arms laced tightly around his neck as she puckered up her lips, trying to kiss him while he tried to push her away, telling her to stop.

My mind roared with pure rage.

This bitch was going to die.

I stepped in, slamming the door open, making her jump away from my boyfriend.

"What are you doing here?", she scowled at me.

"I should be asking you that", I growled.

"I'm his family, I can be here", she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Let me rephrase that for your tiny brain", I started advancing towards her, "What are you doing, in my boyfriend's room? Trying to force him to kiss your nauseating face?",

"Excuse me?", she scoffed.

"I don't think you can be excused after doing pulling something as shamefully repulsive as that", I snarled.

Will put his hand on my shoulder, holding me back.

"Don't Harper, she isn't worth it",

"I won't, just let me tell her something", I marched up to her.

"If you ever try to put your filthy hands on him ever again", I threatened, "I will personally grab you by the hair and swing you out of the window like a rag and wipe off every trace of your existence from the face of this planet",

She frowned at me.

"Now get your ass downstairs, stuff some dessert down that disgusting mouth and LEAVE", I instructed.

She stomped out of the room, leaving us alone.

"Can we leave? Please", Will gave me a pleading look as he leaned against the wall, "I can't stay here another second",

"What happened? Why was she-you know?", I asked.

"When I came out of the bathroom, I saw her standing here, she was talking about you, asking me how long we were dating and all", he ran his hands through his hair again, "We talked and then I showed her the pictures I had of us when we were kids, but she started seducing me and trying to kiss me",

"Are you alright?", I put a hand on his shoulder.

"I feel like I don't know her anymore", he sighed.

I could see how hurt he was. He loved her as a sister, and a best friend ever since they were kids. She meant so much to him. And now it was like he was looking at a complete stranger.

"Let's go", I grabbed his hand, "You don't have to deal with this, we'll go to my house, we'll get some ice cream with Kat and Levi, watch some movies, eat a lot of sugary food and do whatever we want, and if they ever come to a family dinner again, you don't have to go, I'll talk to Callie if I have to',

He smiled, looking down at me with glistening eyes.

"What?",

"Nothing", he chuckled, "Let's go, we have to crash my little brother's date and make him hate hate us",

We shared a laugh at that. Lacing our fingers together, I pecked his lips, dragging him with me.

All of a sudden, a scream sounded from downstairs.

Our smiles faded, replaced with a look of pure panic.

We dashed down the stairs and into the living room to find all of Callie's handmade mochi, crushed and sprawled across the floor.

Callie stood between Annie and Mr. Green, with tears streaming down her face while they tried to console her.

"How nice of you to join us", Silver gave us a saccharine smile.

"W-What happened?", Will stuttered.

"My sister just got what she deserved for flaunting all her money in our faces", Tammi smirked at Callie.

"S-She made those", Will growled, "She worked on them for a week",

"Who cares?", Kiki scoffed, "Stepping on them was much more fun",

"We have to leave, clearly none of you have manners on how to treat guests", Silver said.

They grabbed their purses and strutted out the living room and towards the door.

"Wait", I called out.

"What is it?", Sliver replied.

"I want to apologize",

I turned around and walked up to them.

"Atleast you have some manners, go ahead", Tammi smirked.

"I'm sorry", I sighed, "Callie, I'm so sorry, but I have to do this",

"What do you-", I grabbed Kiki by the arm and slapped her sharply across the face.

The room went silent. Everyone stared at me. Stunned by what I had just done.

"That's for trying to seduce my boyfriend", I smiled.

Ok. Lemme explain. The reason there isn't a #KEVI scene rn is cuz this chapter turned out to be way longer than I expected.

BUTTT I promise I'll give you one in the next chapter.

Cuz there's gonna be a SLEEEPPPOVVVERRR!!! Something I can only write about because I never get to have it..................because I was born in a brown family.
