I would not talk much while growing up, to an extent that my mom worried that no one noticed me while I was around.

It was not until my 18th birthday happen to be eventful that while I shared stories all night long, I loved talking more and more. Then after, I have been compensating for all the time I did not talk much.

Story of Avery Perkins and Shawn Redges is born out of one such conversation late night. While the story is fictional and purely a brainchild of the grey matter in my head, it began with an real instance. You'll know more about this as I share the inspiration in further chapters.

Pranav Teredesai has been really instrumental in setting up the stage for this story to fly off. And while Shawn resembles nothing like him, they share one very important feature - both of them carry sweetness right down to their soul. You'll know more, I promise.

I have to tell you that I have laughed, hoped, loved, understood and throughly enjoyed knowing about Avery and Shawn and others as they come. And I am optimistic that you'll enjoy their journey as much as I did writing it.
