Nightwing sat there he was twisting and turning side to side unable to think of another place they could look, another person they could ask. He had almost given up when he went to get a drink. Maybe water could clear the fog just enough to get an idea? And that was just it. Nightwing looked at the clues while sipping his water. He then put together the facts ; if Wally would've gone anywhere it would be the speedverse and if Wally was out of the speedverse it would put off an immense power surge. That's when it hit Nightwing, he could use the bat computer to look for any unusual power surges in the Arctic! Nightwing went down the fireman pole hidden in a mummy to the badcave hiding below. Nightwing jogged over to the large computer and started searching around for anything out of the ordinary in the Arctic. Then he found something , an unusual power source ,large enough for a wormhole. Was there earlier that week. He hopped back into his bed waiting for the next morning when he would call them.

Nightwing opened his eyes to the wonderful sunlit room. He turned over to his clock ' 6:30 '. He broke out from the tight warm hold the covers had him in and ran up to the phone. "Nightwing to Artemis?" "what do you want?" "I found a power surge in the Arctic , Wally could be back!" Nightwing almost stopped himself from saying the last part, it was true Wally could be back. But he didn't want to break Artemis's heart if Wally wasn't. " really?" "Yes?" The hesitation in Nightwings voice was great but Artemis didn't seem to notice." be at the watchtower at 7:30 ish?" "Okay!" . Artemis hung up the phone and got ready for the day. Nightwing called the others and told them about the same thing.

The whole team was at the watchtower listening intensely to Nightwing while he said the plan. " We will bring weapons just in case something there is attaching. Okay?" "Okay." The whole team said simultaneously. M'gann set up the mind link connecting herself , Super Boy , Nightwing , and Tigress. They approached the area with caution. It was the same place Wally disappeared , coincidence? I think not. They had their weapons ready and peaked over the pile of snow "see anything Nightwing?" "No guards if that's what you're asking". They waited a few seconds until Nightwing gave the signal " Okay let's go " they hopped over the snow pile and landed in a fighting stance. Then after a few tense , quiet moments they started investigating. Nightwing looked over to the ground and it looked like something warm was thrown out of nowhere.. " hey guys check this out" they all looked to where Nightwing was bent towards. " What's that?" " it's..-" he slid his finger in it " .. Ash" " what is ash doing in the Arctic?" Nightwing still looking at it turned his head towards the trail that ended in a pile of snow. The snow pile looked like something squashed it down " I.. don't know.." Nightwing took out a containment bottle and a small plastic flat stick. He used the 'stick' to get some of the 'ash' and put it in the bottle which had a liquid in it. The liquid turned blue " It's from a human" " wait what?".

Later that day Nightwing was in the lab testing and finding any human DNA he could match. The whole team were just sitting and talking when Nightwing walked in. Artemis turned around to face Nightwing " Did you find out the DNA?" "Not yet , it needs a bit of time but It'll work". Everyone smiled for a moment then kept talking , Nightwing joined them.

Wally was almost stumbling over himself while he tried to stop before hitting a large, blue , and probably cold ocean. He stopped a little too close to the edge of the ice for his liking. He backed up and thought of anyway he could pass this ocean of ice and most likely death if you fell in without the right equipment. He looked up his options , he had to give it a try. He backed up further and further while still keeping his eyes on the ocean ahead. " for Artemis!" He yelled as if he was going to war. He ran faster than he ever has toward the busy ocean. He ran on to the ocean ; he was running on water. Trying his best to avoid the large waves he could stumble on. It was almost like and unpredictable obstacle course. His eyes grew wide when he tripped on a wave and went hurling forward into the freezing water. He gasped for air trying to keep his head out of the water. It hurt his burns to swim and unfortunately he didn't notice the large wave coming to crash on his head until it was too late. He was under the cold, cold water. The water was inside of his lungs and they were burning up like flame. He was reaching for any sort of land. The blackness started to take over when he held onto something. He pulled all of his weight onto the ice and rolled onto his back, it was hard to stay conscious. Wally lay on the large piece of ice floating in the ocean. He let the calming blackness take over.
