Y/n's POV

I couldn't do it anymore.

I had to go.

I had to run.

They were destroying me from the inside out.

"Mom, Dad." I said hesitantly,

"What Y/n!" Dad snapped bitterly.

"I think its time I didn't live under this roof anymore..."

They both looked at each other. And burst out laughing.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT THERE?!? YOU'RE WEAK, PATHETIC, AND NOT TO MENTION A MORON!!!" Mom yelled apparently amused.

"B-but I've grown! I'm mature, smart and as hard working as you two! Oh well... never mind that last part i forgot you do jack..." I mumbled.

"WHAT!?!"

'Shit'

I shut my eyes closed quickly, waiting for the pain.

WHOOSH

The first kick

SMACK

The bitch slap

BANG

'A gun shot!?!'

I curled into a tighter ball waiting for one bullet to hit me, waiting for the thing I knew was going to come sooner than I'd like. Death. Adrenaline rushed through my body, making me shake furiously. Then, nothing.

 Rin's POV

"Yukio!" I yelled for my younger brother.

Then I heard a gun shot and ran towards it, sacred that Yukio was in some danger that could be more over his head that both of would like.

"YUKIO!!!"

"What Rin!? I'm busy don't you see that?"

"With wha- Whooooos that?" I ask.

"I just saved her from her parents, they were hitting her and - she's got a tail...." He trailed off

"Woah! Is she a demon too?" I asked excitedly.

"Most likely," Yukio sighed, "We'll take her to Mephisto see what he has to say."

"Alright!"Then I thought,"Hey do you want me to carry her? I thought you were wounded."

"No I'll carry her, I don't trust you carrying girls. Sorry."

"Shut the hell up!" I yelled.

I watched as Yukio picked the h/c  headed girl carefully and walked towards the door. I followed him wondering what type of demon she was, I mean, she has a tail just like me. But she can't be one of Satan's . We walked in silence back to True Cross Academy ,  which wasn't too far away. But of course the clown happens to be casually  riding around in his odd pink limo.

"Mr. Okumura and Mr. Okumura ! Are we heading back to the Academy ?" He asks cheerfully.

Yukio nods, "We need to talk about  this girl. I rescued her from her parents, but they were demons-"

"Oh! Is she a demon too! I see she has a tail just as we do!" Mephisto interrupted .

"You an Rin have a tail. But we don't know what type." Yukio corrected and continued.

I sighed, and  continued listening. They were speaking possibilities of what type of demon she might be. But I looked at her tail and noticed it had a fur looking Cat Sidhe

"Isn't a Sidhe a demon?" I ask, "I mean it does look like the one in the book I  was studying . "

Mephisto chuckled, "You Mr. Okumura? Studying?" 

"We'll yes.... But Yukio was hovering  over me like a stalker." 

"As expected."

"Hey!!" I yelled.

Then Mephisto got close to the girl, examining her tail. Then he got extremely  close to her face.

"Now that you pointed that out Mr. okumura ,  let me check something." He said and took off her shirt.

"S-sir is this appropriate ?" Yukio said flustered.

I chuckled because I wasn't effected by it. Shura's are better.

"What? Shura's are bigger." I said smirking widely.

"RIN!!!" Yukio yelled.

The Mephisto stood abruptly and looked at us. Not as serious as I thought but less like a clown.

"Yes it is necessary ,  try to be more mature. But she is indeed a demon, rather half of one. She has the mark of a Sidhe." He said smirking slightly . 

Yukio POV

Mephisto took of the girls shirt and became flustered.

"S-sir is this appropriate ?" I said flustered.

Rin chuckled because he wasn't effected by it. Pervert.

"What? Shura's are bigger." Rin said smirking widely.

"RIN!!!" I yelled.

The Mephisto stood abruptly and looked at us. Not as serious as I thought but less like he normally does.

"Yes it is necessary , try to be more mature. But she is indeed a demon, rather half of one. She has the mark of the Sidhe." He said smirking slightly . 

'Great. Exactly what we need.'

"Perhaps it is Mr. okumura .  She could help us."

"Are you implying  what I think you are sir?" I ask.

He just smiled

"There's going to be another demon at the Academy ?" Rin asks.

"Yes Rin..." I sighed out.

"Cool!!" He yells.

I glare at him and push my glasses up, this could end up two ways at this point. I'm leaning towards the better one of course. The rest of the ride was in silence, I considered small talk, but I figured it'd be best not to.

"Well it seems we are already here! Have a nice day! If you'll  excuse me I have to meet with someone." Mephisto said smiling. 

I thanked him and picked up the girl with Rin following close behind.

Rin's  POV

Yukio sat next to the girl staring at her. I couldn't tell if he just couldn't keep his eyes off her or he was curious . 

"So are ya gonna keep looking at her lustfully or are you-" I started 

"Rin,  can I not be curious without you being perverted?" He said sarcastically . 

"Shut the hell up! I'm just curious about your thought!" I yelled.

"Maybe if you were like that with you studies..." Yukio said dryly.

Then the girl woke abruptly, scared for her life.
