Chapter Sixteen

The high ceilings cast the brunettes eyes up, she was getting married today. She was in the room behind the church, readying herself for the biggest day of her life, could she do it? Could she give herself to the man who ruined so many? The answer, yes. She loved him so much, the thought of the future meant nothing to her, she no longer cared. She loved Henry more then life itself. As a little girl she dreamt of a prince who would sweep her off her feet, a prince who was dashingly handsome and protected her from any harm. But she never thought that she would get there. She never thought that she would be sent back in time and be marrying Henry Tudor, after 3 months of meeting they'd be marrying. In the future this would be preposterous.

She was allowed to design her dress. The dress had no shoulders and her bodice was fully lace, with long laced sleeves. The bottom was a long puffy white skirt. It had some small flowers stitched into it. And it was absolutely beautiful. Her long brown hair flowed past her shoulders, with a flower crown on top. She was stunning.

Many were in attendance of the royal wedding, which also meant that any woman that Henry had bedded within the last few years would probably be in attendance. Katarina as a child felt pretty, and in school she was bullied. She had no friends and felt horribly ugly. Knowing Henry could have any woman he wanted. And he could take any woman into his bed at any time. What would stop him?

"Bethany? I don't think i can do it." Katarina said as the other women left. Tear began to well in her eyes, she felt that she was replaceable to her future husband.

"You need to stop, you are destined to be with Henry. Kat you traveled in time and you made him fall in love with you. " Bethany said to her, holding on to the girls elbows. She gave the girl a kiss to the forehead. Kat sighed.

"Okay, lets do this thing." She smiled, just as she said her father came to collect her. It was time For Katarina Lahey to become Queen Katarina Tudor. Queen consort of England and wife to henry the eighth.
