Athan's pov

A few minutes before arriving at the Olympian throne room:
"Boys, Chaos has given us a mission to wipe out the enemy camps closing in on Earth, so no dillydallying, got it?" Mom said fixing her too long hair in a ponytail
I glanced at Niko and he nodded
"Whatever you say, mother" we chorus
She smirked in response and teleported us to a dark place
"You two are in charge of killing the minions, I'll take care of the commanders" and before we could respond she vanished
We immediately jumped in to fight, me killing enemies with my dual scythes and Niko with his dual swords

The gold part made of Chaos gold symbolises life after death while the purple part made of void metal symbolises death and eternal pain, it was gifted to me by mother on my 16th birthday last year

"Do you think we'll meet our scum father when we go to Earth?" Niko asked as he bashed an enemy's head with the hilt of his sword
"Hope so" I grunted
"Do you think he's good-looking?"
"He has to be for mother to have loved him so much that she willingly married the son of her father's rival" I shrugged as I decapitated another one
"I guess-"
He was cut of by mother tearing off the head of the enemy infront of us with her whatchamacallit thing on her fingers

"Let's go " she grabbed us and jumped into a portal that she created dragging us with her

After Niko jumped on Jack and arriving at Camp Olympus

So this is where mother grew up.
We looked around, at the vast strawberry field, the several cabins that seemed to be filled with people, the dining hall, training amphitheater, the lake, beach, forest etc
The place was beautiful and had a sense of peace in the air
It was calming.
"Is this where you grew up?" Niko asked as he held on to mother's side like a little kid, feeling jealous I held onto her other side
"Mhm" she said, a soft smile on her face
"Percy!!!!!!" We heard a chorus of yells and what seemed to be the entire population of adults in the camp rushed us and dog piled mother
"What the fuck!!" Niko yelled
"Language, brat!" Mother yelled from under the ever growing pile
"Um what's happening?" I asked confused
Mother pushed them off her and giggled at their antics
"Boys, these are my friends, the ones I told you about" she said and introduced them

They're mother's friends, so I guess they could be trusted
They were stunned to see me and Niko especially when mother told them we were her sons, they were happy we made it and introduced me to their children, that is, the ones that had children which were Jason and Piper, and Hazel and Frank.
Niko and I spent the rest of the day with our cousins, while mother caught up with her friends
Turns out our cousins are totally chill, they didn't even flinch when we revealed ourselves as assassins, cool.
