Hudson was sure that the reason behind all these deaths would be a serial killer who is killing innocent students. But the same pattern was followed for almost 12 people. The rest of the other four were dead anonymously. The death of these four people was creating a mystery. There must be some reason why this evil killer was not showing mercy even after multiple attempts. There must be an answer to this puzzle. So he went to Rose Wellington's house to interrogate her family and neighbors along with Chief Liam Jones.

"Miss! I'm sorry for your loss but you need to talk to the police, otherwise how your daughter will get justice?"

"Justice! What kind of justice you people will do? This is the 16th murder, and you still have no clue about this evil killer. How can I trust you?"

"We're trying but the problem is that you people are not helping us at any stage, We're not the residents here. If we need any information we have to interrogate those who live here, those who knew this place better than us."

***sobbing**

"Okay, I'll do as much as I can, I don't want any other parents to lose their lovely children. Rose was my only child. Her father passed away due to cancer when she was just 5. Until then, I'm working as a Mathematics teacher at St. Patrick's school. She was a brilliant student. She never liked to make new friends."

"But that day you told the Police that she went to her friend's birthday party."

"Yes! She had only one friend, her name is Abby"

"Okay, that's fine, but have you noticed any drastic change in her behavior or friend zone?"

"Not that much but for the past few months she was obsessed with parties and social media, though I never asked her about those parties that are not a matter of worry"

So after interrogating Rose by other family members and in the neighborhood, they were not able to find any clue and that was very disappointing. Hudson was so frustrated about the case. It was midnight and he went outside of his apartment to get some fresh air. There was a garden in front of the building. It was indeed beautiful and covered a large area. He went there and sat on a bench. But suddenly heard a sound of sobbing coming from somewhere.

"I guess it was coming behind from the Maple tree. When I got up there I saw Ava sitting behind that tree and crying."

"Hey, Ava why are you crying outside this late?"

And the moment she saw him she ran away and went inside her house.

"Well, that was kind of weird. I don't know what happened to her. But something isn't right with her. She always looks so cold and zoned out."

He was about to move out of the garden suddenly he saw the son of the apartment owner sneaking inside his home and there was a wand in his hand.

" Hey, Timothy! Where you have been?"

"Sir, please stay quiet otherwise my father would kill me. I just went to a party without his permission."

"So young man, What the hell is in your hand?

"Sir this is the wand with the title "The Coolest Kid" that I won today."

"What the hell is this cool kid party?"

"Sir, usually we all classmates have the cool kid parties around 3 times a month. It is conducted based on class grades, social media followers, having cool partners, good relationships with teachers, and most importantly teaching lessons to the lazy and those kids who are weak at studies. So today I won this challenge. I was given a dare to post one of the worst graders of the whole class on social media and it hit 2k likes in just 5 hours, and I'm also famous you know my mother is HOD of the Physics department of our school. So I'm a damn cool kid."

"You people are no one to bully mediocre students, this is not good, And you know what you should not be outside at this time without permission of your parents. It isn't safe out in Denver right now. And tell me, do you know Rose Wellington?

"Rose Wellington was my classmate, I never talked to her but I have seen her at the cool kid parties for the past 8 months. She even won a title this month. Although she's not anymore. So feel kind of sad. This month's all parties are completed up to now."

"Hmm! Tomorrow meet me in my office, I need to interrogate you. Now straight forward go to your home."

Timothy went to his home, but the detective knew that Timothy can be in danger so he texted his father to keep an eye on him because he didn't want to disturb him in the middle of the night by calling awkwardly. Then he went inside and he had only slept for 2 hours until he got a call from the chief at almost 4 am.

"Hello, Sir There's an emergency, "567438"..."

So after getting the news about another dead body Hudson went to the murder site. The dead body was of none other than Timothy. Well, it was quite shocking the previous night he caught him sneaking out of the house at night even though he had gone home then how the hell did he get killed in a very short span? The killer was very fast and furious. Full of rage. It was looking like his body was torn so brutally. The victim was stabbed in the neck and face. From the scratches on the body, it looked like he tried to fight but could not save himself.

"Chief please check any clue or something near the body"

"Sir I found a note inside the mouth of the victim."

Timothy got what he deserved...

So this killer was a satanist or something. Maybe it could be a hint. Usually, psychopaths kill people for pleasure, they feel contented to see the last breaths of a dying person. And in the history of serial killers, there has been only one notorious and infamous serial killer who worshipped Satan known as Richard Ramirez. Well, many people start to follow infamous serial killers like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc. So this killer was following the method of Richard Ramirez. But Richard Ramirez never followed a particular pattern of killing. But this killer was doing something different. This was the 17th dead body. Timothy's father reached the murder spot.

"You officers are not able to do anything. You all are bl**dy basta**s."

"Sir calm down I can say in this murder you're also 50% guilty. Have you ever known that your son sneaked out from the house in the middle of the night to attend some nonsense damn parties!!" Hudson became furious.

"When did you catch my son doing this?"

The detective explained everything and told him that he even texted him about the whole incident so that they would be alert about Timothy. The police were trying to find the killer but the locals were not helping. Parents never cared what their children were doing behind their backs. There was only one thing that mattered to all a good social status. Timothy's body was taken for postmortem and it was found that a very heavy drug was found in his bloodstream and he died due to overdose. He was stabbed after dying.

At least one thing became clear the serial killer was targeting popular kids of St. Patrick's School.

"I can say this person works or studies on the school premises, we need to go to St. Patrick's School"

The next morning Detective went to meet the school's principal Mr. Gabriel James.

"Good morning Detective, what's the reason for coming so early in the morning?"

"Well, I need to address your students about this killer so please arrange a meetup for the students with me."

"Huh students already know about the killer, there's no need for that. Now you can go!"

"Sir, I knew this would be coming so I'm here with special permission from the government. Huh, so you can't deny my demand. Now do it fastly, I don't have the whole day."

All the students were asked to Come into the school auditorium as soon as possible. Everyone was present in the school auditorium except for one. Some students told the teachers that they felt sick and went home. So the detective started to talk to the students.

"Hello dear Students, I'm Senior Detective Hudson Cooper. I have been working in the department of detectives for 5 years. So Please I want you all to listen carefully that a notorious serial killer is roaming around in Denver, Especially targeting school students. So I'm requesting you all to kindly avoid going out of your house late at night and please Avoid parties as well as social gatherings. And I have heard about your Cool kid parties. So I guess this month all three parties are over for now. So I want those students who got the title and wand of the cool kid to meet me in the Principal's office at a short notice. And you all will no longer be allowed to do these cool kid parties, If students are found then they will receive a bad remark in their final character certificate."
