[ twenty-three: "they made a decision!" ]

NEARLY TWENTY-FOUR HOURS LATER, Dylan was sleeping peacefully, when a bunch of frantic knocks on her door woke her up. Before she was able to pull herself out of bed and answer the door herself, whoever was trying to get in, was able to open the door.

Bursting into the room was all of the guys, their faces red, breathing heavily. The groggy girl furrowed her eyebrows out of confusion as a yawn escaped her lips. "Dylan! Wake the fuck up!" Jamie screeched, a smile yet a terrified expression plastered his face.

Dylan's mind immediately jumped to the worst thing possible. "W-what's going on?" she asked, panic evident in her voice, her icy blue eyes burning with concern.

Alex breathed heavily, telling Dylan they all had obviously sprinted to her room. "The NHL posted a video, they've made a decision."

The girls eyes widened, her heart beat picking up as she stared expectedly at Alex. "We don't know. We wanted to watch it all together." Corey breathed, his hands on his hips as he fought to catch his breath.

"Okay! Okay! Lets watch it!" Toews exclaimed, everyone jumping into Dylan's bed, all snuggling close to watch the computer screen that was planted in front of Dylan.

Gary Bettman walked into view of the cameras, clearing his throat before speaking on behalf of the NHL.

Alright, well after many months and many discussions, we have finally reached an agreement. We thought we had figured everything out in the early weeks of July, however all due to a certain interview and group, that all got thrown out the window. After many more meetings, and many debates we all came to a final decision.

"C'mon baby," Sidney mumbled, cracking his knuckles out of habit.

"Please, please, please," Dylan mumbled barely audible.

Alex had stayed completely silent, his jaw clenched as he awaited their decision. "They can't say no to us, can they?" Andre asked, looking at Alex who continued to stay silent. His eyes never leaving the computer screen.

"W-we're some of the best players in the league. T-they can't not send us," Quick stated, his voice cracking nervously.

"T-they should respect us enough to value our opinions," Patrick murmured.

Jamie quirked an eyebrow, "we're talking about Gary Bettman, Kaner."

Andrew nodded his head, "thats very true."

"Shut up!" John yelled, as Gary was stalling and dragging out announcing what he decided.

With that being said, we as a league have came to an agreement. And we as an organization have decided that,

the NHL will not go to South Korea to participate in the 2018 Winter Olympics.
