Frisk's pov

We were now in front of Undyne at the dead end. MK was about to show up. "Frisk, I think we should reach out to Undyne!" I nodded. She wouldn't believe it otherwise. We started hitting once again. Undyne suddenly stopped, eyes narrowing. "What the..?" She mumbled.

She must've seen the cracks.

Perfect.

Undyne's pov

I looked at the punk in the eyes when I saw something... weird. Were those... cracks? "What the..?" I mumbled to myself. Suddenly, a chunk of their eyes turned brown. I just stared, shocked as they said "No... control. Player... in... charge. Talk... to... Sans." Before the red came back like a repaired wall. The pained expression they had disappeared. I was still in shock when MK appeared. As I took him away, my only thought was "You better explain this, Sans. Or I'm burning your house down!"

Chara's pov

I looked at Frisk proudly. "That was longer then before! Good job!" They smiled and said "Well, I wasn't alone!" I smiled as I hugged them. "You will never be alone." I then pulled back and said "You're stuck with me, you pacifist." They laughed, then said "Yup!"

Even though we are forced to be opposites, I will always protect you.

Undyne's pov

I checked Sans' schedule. He should be in Waterfall. Perfect.

I need answers.

I jumped in front of Sans' station. He looked startled, as if he was deep in thought. "Sans! There is something I need to talk to you about!" "what's up, 'dyne?" He responded in his usual demeanour. "There is a human in Waterfall!" His eye sockets went black "I actually had them cornered before something... weird... happened." His eye lights came back. "what kind of weird?" He asked, now slightly curious. "Well, their red eyes suddenly had chunk of brown, then they said "No... control. Player... in... charge. Talk... to... Sans." Before the red came back." His eye sockets went black once again. "Any ideas?" "'Player..?'" He mumbled before his sockets widened. "the kid was never the enemy." He whispered. "WHAT?!?!" I shouted. "HOW? THEY'RE A HUMAN! THEY KILLED MONSTERS! THEY-" "have no control over their actions." Sans cut in. Suddenly, it hit me. "The human isn't the threat, this "Player" is..." I mumbled. Sans stood up, then said "i need to do some digging. you'll fight them again soon enough. tell the kid to reach out again and record it all. even if you get dusted, i'll have the recording and Alphys will have the footage. we need more info. tell Alph to watch them closely and be careful." I nodded. "I will. And Sans?" He looked at me. "Be careful too." He nodded, then dissapeared.
