Chapter 7

Sarah arrived home, a little disappointed from the hangout, actually more than disappointed. She felt "left out".

Sarah went on her phone and decided to text whoever was available to listen to her feelings from earlier today. That person she chose was her sidekick and fangirl partner, Emma.

She texted Emma how she felt, and how Serena, Jillian, and even Ben all planned hangouts without her. Emma felt the same way Sarah did, and texted back, "I feel the same way. They always leave me out of hangouts and they might do it on purpose because I'm just not good enough". Sarah felt bad, but this may have been true.

The two decided to separate themselves from Ben and the squad, choosing a different path to follow. They decided to hangout with other friends, and maybe convince others to join them in exposing Ben. Sarah was a bit hesitant on this plan, but Emma was able to convince her.

The next day, Sarah and Emma met up at Emma's house. They hung out by taking selfies, jumping into the pool, and fangirling over certain topics on boy bands. They had so much fun, they almost forgot about Ben and the squad. "This is much better, in my opinion," said Emma. Sarah nodded.

After the hangout happened, their parents agreed to have a sleepover for them. Emma and Sarah were about to go to bed, until suddenly Angie texted Sarah. Angie started to express her real emotions and feelings to Sarah, trusting her the most.

Sarah, without hesitation, texted back Angie that Ben and the squad have left her and Emma out of hangouts recently. She didn't get a text back, because it was late in the night.

Emma was busy kissing and cuddling her pillow, pretending it was Michael Clifford.
