as they sat there, Jay felt the compass in his pocket get heavy. "not now!" Jay whisper shouted. but the compass fell out of his pocket and shone brightly, "what it tha-" Cole started, but before he could finish the compass turned into the glowing map. Cole sat frozen in shock, as Jay quickly stood up to try and put away the map but it just wouldn't shrink. it stayed in it's map form as the mark of the caves of lightning shone brighter and brighter until it was blinding. "Jay what the hell is that?!" Cole said getting up with one arm covering his eyes, "you want me to tell you know or after the lights blind us?!" Jay said half joking. "after..." Cole muttered, used to Jay's jokes. "good!" Jay said, slowly the light left leaving a glowing path with lightning patterns on it. 

"well thats new" Jay said a bit unfazed "geez now you act like Zane" "uh- who?" "never mind" Cole sighed, remembering Jay had lost his memories. secretly hoping hitting him in the head with a frying pan will fix him. (maybe...)

Jay knelt down and touched the path and immediately his arm light up, all of his scars shone like stars. Cole walked up next to him and looked at Jay with a concerned look on his face, "here's a stupid question. do we follow the random lightning path or do we not?" Jay said looking at Cole, scars still shining. "i'll answer that as soon as you explain what the frick that was" Cole said turning his head to look at Jay. "with or with out food-" "JAY" "i was just asking!"

Jay smiled nervously and tried his best to explain. "i was just in my office-" wait office? what office???" "ah... right, um... how do i explain all this in less than 20 minutes?" "i don't care how you do it, just hurry" "ok ok geez" Jay said putting his hands up in defeat. 

Jay and Cole sat next to a blooming tree, Jay went on and on about everything that had happened to him, even if he didn't realize it. both of them were acting like they hadn't been separated for years. hell, they acted like they never got separated, just like the old days. when Jay finished Cole shared his side of the story. "and then i saw Nya again" Cole said laying his hand on the floor, "who is Nya?" "i really want to hit you in the head with a frying pan" "too bad you don't have one!" Jay teased "don't try me" Cole warned half joking. "heheheheh" Jay laughed

"ok Rapunzel" Jay said with his signature grin, Cole lightly hit Jay on the head and smiled "idiot" "hey!" Jay said angrily "im not an idiot!" "debatable" Cole replied with a playful smirk, "so... what now?" Cole asked "well... for a while now i feel like my powers... have been trying to tell me something, i'm not sure what they're trying to say but i just know it's important" Jay said hesitantly. "well... i'm not letting you get yourself killed so i'm going with you" Cole said getting up "wha?" Jay said scrambling up "you heard me" "but-!" "there's nothing you can say to change my mind, so don't try" Cole said as he cut off Jay "you do understand that this could get us both killed right?" "i'm prepared to take that risk, nothing new" Cole shrugged

hello!!! today is my last day of freedom, school starts tomorrow  so i might make a writing schedule. i'll let you guys know more detail soon, but i hope you like this chapter. you guys mean so much to me :)
