part two; patriot games

PART TWO; PATRIOT GAMES; SET POST HOMECOMING, PRE INFINITY WAR

( extended summary. )

If there had been any plans for Jessica-Diana Purnell's future, being a superhero wasn't one of them. When she'd been asked at family gatherings and job interviews, she had never thought to say that one day she would be saving the world. Well, her friends and family, to be specific. They were her world.

In truth, she had never asked to be a hero. She never asked to be jabbed with needles and given abilities beyond her control. She never asked for the title, the loss, the pain. She never asked for any of it. But it seemed the universe had it out for her, like it had done since she was a little girl.

Sixteen years of life doesn't seem like a lot to those around her, but for J.D, she hadn't gone a day without being utterly exhausted from the pressure and trauma she had faced. It wasn't as if she tried to be a depressed piece of shit, but that was what abuse and torment did to a person. It was no surprise that she picked up her broken pieces and moved away from the place she once called home. Though her heart lay with a boy by the name of Peter Parker, it was for the best that they called things off seeing as they both had more than enough on their plate.

But, unfortunately, living in hiding doesn't necessarily mean the danger will not find you. Especially when that comes in the form of a tall, handsome man called Steve Rogers appearing at your door in the middle of the night with a proposition too important to turn away.

hey everyone!! uhh so i'm back? that's crazy wow!! what i've decided to do is merge bladerunner and the sequel into one book because i want my account to be a little tidier, hope that's all good!

i'm also really reworking as much as i can with the sequel, so there are some faceclaim, name and gender changes! i've also altered the playlist, which i'm a lot happier with, so yeeheckinhaw!!!!

also, the graphics for this book were made by @BonitaRogue while back when this story was published, so thank you so much for the amazing work you did for me!!! xx
